Me and XSplit Broadcaster

I have been using XSplit for over 7 years and I am very satisfied with it. I stream almost daily with it and have also done a lot of recordings without streaming. Whenever I have an issue, support responds very quickly and efficiently. A big thank you as well for this work.

I did not sign up for automatic renewal

I've been charged for an automated subscription renewal that I wasn't aware I'd been signed up to. Contacted support to request a refund and they don't reply.

There was no pre-billing email to inform me that charges were about to be made, only an invoice once they'd taken money without permission. I've checked all previous emails and nowhere does it suggest that renewals are automatic.

Response to Xsplit. I emailed the support email address on the same day I was charged, 22/09/24, but got no response.
Every other subscription (Domains, microsoft, norton etc) provide an email to state that subscriptions are pending prior to a charge being made. This is how it should be done. Following your enquiry I have now been refunded.

Hi, I tried to look for a chat with you but was unable to find it. Did you contact us on the chat on support.xsplit.com or email support@xsplit.com?

We have never (literally never) denied a refund to anyone who forgot to cancel their subscription and we respond to all chats within 24 hours on weekdays (usually a lot faster). So it surprises me that you say you did not get a reply.

Regarding you not being aware it was a subscription. It's mentioned before you pay on the website, the next bill date is displayed in your account information. I will take a look at see if we can make it more clear.

S Class customer support

I've had Xsplit for years with a life time key and money well spent. Staff are super fast to respond and knowledgable about the software not having to wait for assistance or advice.

Have used Xsplit for years.

Have used Xsplit for years and recently had a technical issue. Xsplit support was instantly on the case and guided me through the fixed step by step and got it sorted. Great service and highly recommend.

I resolved my problem thanks to the advice provided despite the fact that the version of Brve has evolved and the shield parameter was not in the same place. With a bit of searching, I found and added an http permission for Xsplit.

A trustworthy partner.

I am connected with xslir for nearly 10 years. Using this software for our web channel was really good and user friendly. Never had a problem and thought of uninstalling. Trust worthy.

Great if its what you need.

Depending on what you need, specifically, there may be better options; for the price point, though, I do not think you will find a better suite of licensed products for cam/virtual cam/broadcasting. I gave the fifth star specifically because they offer reasonable lifetime sub prices (I abhor indefinite subscription only products, especially since I can manage my own services; I typically just need the software, though services built-in to a lifetime sub is a good bonus). Without the lifetime sub, I would still agree with the 4 star rating. Been using a very low priced annual sub for a long time and just renewed for Splitcam only, but will probably get the full suite lifetime sub, soon.

XSplit VCam (MacOS) is a great product…

XSplit VCam (MacOS) is a great product that is miles ahead of its competition, however limited the competition may be. I had issues with the software loading and freezing upon launch. I contacted their tech support, and they were able to remote into my desktop and resolve the issue in a quick, professional manner. Great job, guys!
