No complaints
I've been using wundertax aka germantaxes.de for years now. I have found them to be really good. This last year I got back exactly what they predicted. Nothing to it really. Just put in the information, follow the helpful guides, fix anything they find, and submit and pay. Then wait. it was great.

Wundertax ist ein tolles Tool
Ich arbeite seit etlichen Jahren schon mit Wundertax und habe es auch schon etlichen meiner Freundinen und Kollegen empfohlen. Die Eingabemaske ist plausibel und benutzerfreundlich bei Problemen. Zuletzt bei der Verifizierung wurde mir superschnell, freundlich und unkompliziert geholfen.

Been using Wundertax since moving to Germany
I moved to Germany about 8 years ago and was shocked when I found out the prices of a tax attorney. Also due to the language barrier I decided to give Wundertax a try and I have never looked back. Easy to use and everything is in English and well explained and the best part is the estimate I get at the end is almost spot on give or take 5€ so good job Wundertax. Keep up the good work.

Wundertax is a slot machine.
What kind of tax assessment did you guys do?
The assessment showed €2000+ return and now tax office saying I need to pay ~€200?
What system your tool is based on?
Now I know your argument, you would say “we have already mentioned that the assessment is our best judgment and tax office may come up with some other results also”. But the judgment this wrong? Like 100% wrong? Then why one should trust your tool!
It is understandable if your tool had showed me that I may need to pay the tax office €150, for example, and then tax office says you need to pay us 160. That’s ok, that would be the right judgement your tool would have done.
But, when the judgment is 100% wrong then the tool is merely a slot machine than a tax filing system.
Seriously disappointed!!
After, paying the amount to the tax office, next thing I will be doing is deleting my Wundertax account for good and definitely NOT RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE ELSE!

We recommend that you double-check whether you included all the necessary information in your tax return. You may have forgotten to report some income. You can easily verify this by comparing the income listed on your tax return with the income listed by the tax office.
