I had the pleasure of dealing with Darragh in woodies Wexford to pick out my new kitchen and from start to finish he was so helpful and quick with all answers to my questions I couldn’t have asked for better and then Alan the fitter was top quality and very professional and friendly manner I would highly recommend woodies kitchens I’m absolutely thrilled with mine thank you

I can't express how amazing woodies are in nenagh, Josh the Manager Is so polite & Helpful & woodies staff are amazing and both have helped me beyond their capacity & Josh went that extra mile & to say that would be an understatement I have huge respect for all mentioned and josh the most, woodies is not just the best for products but for any queries you may need and have more to offer than any other hardware in Ireland which is also stated online an amazing team and josh should be promoted and given a raise, I've never received so much help & understanding please don't shop anywhere else amazing offers and brilliant products machine's etc they didn't just help me with my business they helped me become a happier person thanks from the bottom of my heart. I never expected to feel this stressed
I never expected to feel this stressed, upset, and let down over something as simple as a damaged charger — but my experience with Woodies over the last 48 days has been genuinely exhausting.
I bought an OcuMow lawnmower on 6 May, and it arrived with a broken charger. What followed has been weeks of silence, ignored emails, repeated mistakes, and constant chasing on my part. I’ve spent far too much time worrying, waiting, and trying to fix a problem that should have been resolved immediately by the store I trusted.
I was promised help by multiple managers, yet I was left without updates for weeks at a time. I was forced to pay customs charges twice, even after being told I wouldn’t have to. I was refunded the wrong amount. I was sent the wrong item — a battery instead of the charger I clearly asked for. I had to chase Revenue documents that Woodies failed twice to get right. Every step of this process has been another setback, another delay, another moment of unnecessary stress.
The worst part is the feeling of being ignored. Days would pass with no reply, no update, no accountability. I’ve been a loyal Woodies customer for years, and to be treated this way has been genuinely hurtful.
As of today, I still have:
No replacement charger
A lawnmower sitting in the box that I can't use
No refund for the second customs charge
No communication
No resolution
This experience has caused me more frustration and anxiety than any customer should ever have to deal with. I expected better from Woodies — much better.

As a pensioner found this extremely unfair.Had to lift the paint back into my car.Very disappointed with the service or lack of it

I've never experienced anything like the rudness today at the Blanchardstown store. While dealing with a very nice and helpful young man in the gardening area, an Interfering older woman (Ger!) Decided to engage in our conversation in the only way I could describe as, shocking-dismissive-rude and extremely unprofessional. When I told her how rude she was, she continued to argue with me, leaving me in shock and, I'm sure her colleague was uncomfortable. Needles to say, I left my goods behind. Very disappointing. I also work in retail and would never treat my customers that way.
Faulty product
Stay away from woodies brought a lawnmower of them never worked right trying to blame us as one point told us to go get look at somewhere else then had the nerve to say we give you discount of other lawnmower
Avoid ordering online - left in limbo with damaged goods
Ordered Garden furniture online, a week later it was delivered. I unboxed and assembled, worst assembly ever, Allen key didn't fit the screws which made it tedious. Got to the couch part and the bar on the side was damaged and bent so cannot assemble.
I went straight to lucan store to be told as it was an online order I had to deal with their customer service team that they would provide a replacement part. Sent an email with photos and details, 7 days later I received a reply to advise item is no longer in stock that I could have a full refund and return the set, or keep the set with a further reduction in price(and a couch i cannot use). The item is still showing available on their website, I have since sent 7 emails and reached out via social media channels and no response to anything.
Im now left with half a furniture set and out of pocket 600odd euros. Appalling customer service, avoid buying anything online as you are left in limbo if anything is wrong. .
I will next be going to the store for answers.
PRODUCT SAFETY & QUALITY ALERT DEFECTIVE HARDWARE ON STEEL PERGOLA Paloma Steel Louvered Pergola 1275438
Normally i would give Woodies 5 stars for my Local branch but this review is about my recent purchase on Line of The Paloma Steel Louvered Pergola . First issue I had was the Bulk delivery so called tracking on their website which is just not up to standard for a large company such as woodies. This product was so heavy that you would need at least two to three people to lift it which it does not state on the product delivery information. It was left on my driveway for me alone to bring it in to my back garden.
The most important issue is During professional installation the assembly team discovered that the provided screws and bolts were of entirely inadequate quality the threads stripped immediately and the bolts were not strong enough to support the weight of the structure.
Because the provided hardware compromised the structural integrity of the heavy steel frame the installers deemed it unsafe and had to swap them out for high tensile steel replacement fixtures to complete the job securely. Please be aware if you decide to purchase this product do some research . I have emailed Woodies and have received no response from them.
Mop and bucket satisfaction
I ordered a mop with your company on June 12th and was dispatched on the 14th and today ,to my surprise, it was delivered by DPD. I'll have to figure out how to work it but I'm sure that it'll be okay 👍

This morning l went in for a tool for my husband for weeding between paving stones and a Man called Gearoid found exactly what l was looking for. He is the nicest and most helpful Man you could meet and has always been like this. Nothing is too much trouble for him. If only all shop assistants were like Gearòid.
Dreadful customer service experience
Dreadful customer service experience. Have a time sensitive question about a significant online order. Emailed customer support more than 48 hours ago and have received no response. Managed to get put through to the customers service teams phone line but went to voicemail and the voicemail was full and not allowing you to leave a message. Spoke to lady in store who said she had 30 people ringing the store today looking to talk to customer service as they aren't getting any response after submitting online request. An absolute disgrace for this size of a company. No online chat service. I will be avoiding online orders in future.
Pretty poor
Pretty poor. Ordered an item for click and collect, got the confirmation email but no follow up email to say it was ready. Tried ringing the store, rang out. Tried contacting customer services - no reply. Still, better than my previous time using click & collect and when I went to collect, they said it had already been picked up and refused to refund me.
No Update After 3+ Weeks – Extremely Poor Customer Service
I’ve been trying for over three weeks to get an update on an online order that was damaged when DPD attempted delivery. I was offered either a refund or to have the same items dispatched again, and I chose to have them reshipped.
Since then, I’ve sent multiple emails to Woodie’s customer service asking when I can expect the order, but I haven’t received any response. A week ago, I was told the issue had been escalated to management, yet I’ve heard nothing further since.
I’ve also tried contacting them through Facebook Messenger without success, and when I attempted to call, I was told that customer service can only be contacted online.
At this point, I don’t know what else to do. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service.
When I accidently clicked to do a store…
When I accidently clicked to do a store pick up, it went into 'picking' quite fast. I contacted them to cancel it as I don't have a way to get there and back with the items.
They said they would cancel it but then the order went through to the next stage. I kept replying to the email but they literally stopped replying.
I got my refund a few days later but jesus wept.. they just cba replying... if you even get a reply.
I replaced the order on the 3rd for delivery.
Website says delivery is 5:95 and 2-3 working days.
Its been 5 working days and the order is still in 'picking'.
Looks like another Irish business that cba to sort themselves out. Probably have a handful of people handling customer service.. put in the bare minimum effort and pay them nothing
I'll find somewhere else to buy my items from and just get another refund from these time wasters
Don’t order online!
Don’t order online!! I made an order for a bbq 3 weeks ago and still no sign of it or update about it. The customer service is impossible to get a hold of. They ask you to fill out a form online but they don’t respond. The staff in store refuse to help if it’s an online order. Absolute disgrace.
Desperate
Terrible online ordering experience. I Ordered a large amount of soil/compost. A small amount was refunded due to low stock which is fine, but the rest was taking ages. After 10 days I emailed for an update and the next day a delivery arrived. The driver was woefully unequipped to deliver large orders - he didn't have a dolly so I had to help carry bags from the van and I had to lend him scissors to get the plastic wrapping off the pallet. I soon realised that the order was incomplete, only about half of what I ordered. I emailed Woodies to see where it was and they said they would look into it and I didn't hear back so I emailed them to just cancel and refund the remainder. Still no response. The delivery charge for this was €50 which is so expensive for such poor service.

Advertise goods with a delivery price. I was buying in Wexford, and was told that the €15 only applied to online sales and that their own local delivery could cost €80. I ordered online, where a 5-day delivery was advertised. 5 days later, no sign of it, no contact. Phoned them. Couldn’t put me through to customer services (which is basically a lie) so took my details and order number. Still no contact. No wonder they don’t reply here. Expensive and not backed up by professionalism. Forget them. Order elsewhere.
Refused to blow up balloons
Woodies refused to blow up balloons as it was too close to closing time when it was more than 30 minutes before closing.
What used to be a great company has really gone downhill. Won’t be frequenting any of their shops again

Ordered some chairs and the delivery time was 1 to 3 working days. 5 days later and still not arrived. Emailed customer service and they took 3 days to reply despite saying they would within 24 hours
