I do like the variety of supplies and have always gotten what I needed, but you really need to know what you're getting yourself.
They seem to only hire teenagers and grandmothers, which wouldn't be a bad thing generally, but whenever I've tried to get some basic advice on what to get for some home projects, I've been looked at like I've two heads.

On the plus side it's made me have to learn more myself which is a silver lining.

They have everything you want at great prices.

God what an atrocious Customer Service I've emailed them 4 times NO RESPONSE my order was delivered to a different address I can't get any response from them I don't know where my order is. Courier sent me a message saying delivered WHERE no response from him either. Would NEVER buy from them again.

Items not received, have sent numerous emails and not getting a reply back from the customer service.

Ordered furniture boards to be delivered, came damaged, I had to return them but never got the replacements, and after numerious emails and phone calls after two months I was eventually told I had to travel to Liffey Valley to get my refund even though I ordered them from Tallaght

Item not delivered. I contacted B&Q 5 days after the delivery due date, I received a response a few days later to say the the matter was escalated, over two weeks later I have heard nothing and customer service didn’t answer their phone both times I called and I stayed on the phone 20mins (made dinner etc). The tracking still says delayed! My order was very small so it’s not a big deal, it’s the principal though and a waste of time and hard earned money. I then had to shop elsewhere for what I wanted and very much doubt this will be resolved.

I have to use a walking aid so looking for items, lifting etc are all difficult for me. My last visit to purchase an item was very disappointing, I asked 2 people for assistance and neither one was what I could call helpful. I know sales work can be tiresome, I did it myself many years ago, however, helping with a pleasant attitude is a nice thing to do whether or not they were havinga bad day. I ended up getting my purchase elsewhere.

Thankfully B & Q has returned to my area. The new store is beautiful and the staff are great. We purchased a patio set and it came in good time. They kept us updated throughout the process and it came on time. We will definitely return for more stuff.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. This company is a disgrace.

Lawn mower is exactly what I was looking for. Cuts my grass beautifully. Perfect for a small garden and someone who wishes a good value product, to reduce their carbon footprint, get a great cut on their lawn and get a little bit of exercise too! B&Q delivered promptly when they said they would. Mower arrived in perfect condition. Very little assembly needed. So full satisfaction achieved.

I purchased a bbq (along with another item) which was advertised the same day. The payment went through. Order arrived. No bbq. Contacted B&Q, told out of stock. However, the bbq order went through on the website. Cost refunded but I was not happy with their explanation. That was a few weeks ago. The same bbq is now advertised again today, at a reduced price. But it was out of stock? I will never order from B&Q again.

I was your customer for many years but now i'm very disappointed with Your store. So often i can see empty shelves and nobody care about restock products. Once i checked product availability on your website , and it showed that there were a few units available in your Galway store. However when I arrived at the store i discovered the items were not there. Your employee was very suprised about that. Despite searching they could not be found anywhere in the store. I wasted my time.
I also found that you stopped selling a Plywood sheets at your shop in Galway. Why this has been discontinued? and wheter you plan to offer it again in the future?

Came on time just what I was looking for packageing was good

Three delivery attempts over three weeks. Driver not provided with our phone number - marked his record - nobody home. We waited in three times for this fiasco and yes, we were at home. €450 paint and (received damaged) pvc section plus misdescribed power tool.
Hopeless in the extreme. Help line is in South Africa, total 40 minutes on the phone.
Avoid B&Q - not only for deliveries also for eye watering prices. Shop around!

My item arrived but there was a hole in the cushion of the chair.

Item never delivered and no response from customer service.

I ordered 8 plastic storage containers. No lids arrived. I have called and lodged complaints requesting the lids (which are clearly part of the container) 3 times now and no one has returned with any help. Shameless! What are you going to do about this.

Mick the duty Manager and Una on checkout in Cork B&Q were first class in helping me decide what garden furniture to buy. Went with the Riveo timber set. Really good quality. And 20% off on the bank holiday. Thanks guys!
