Waited months for order then on delivery, couriers threw box over gate badly damaging item
We patiently waited 3-4 months for a bedside table for our daughters room. Finally we had notification at 4:30 pm one day that It would be delivered next day and we needed to be in to sign for it. We were unable at that late notice to be around so we requested it be delivered to a neighbour. When we returned we found the box on the other side of our locked gate lying on its side. It looked like it had been thrown over our 6ft high gate. As the delivery note from the couriers stated that the box had been left on the back porch rather than with a neighbours it is clear hat it was dpd who left the parcel in this state and not our neighbour. When we opened the box we found the side of the table had broken off and it had also cracked. We are extremely frustrated that having waited so long for the order that it turned up in the state if did. We will be calling customer services tomorrow to complain and would warn others of this situation.

Hello Hannah, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Our records show that you made two purchases from us some time ago (in 2011), a Bathroom Unit and an Oak TV Cabinet - which we subsequently refunded due to unavailable stock.
Can we confirm that your review relates to us (The Wooden Furniture Store) as we do not use DPD as a courier, and our policy is not to leave items but to deliver into the house, (as we always require a signature accepting the item is in good condition) and we have no record of the purchase of a bedside table from us.

My hallway is clutter free !
I was tired of seeing rows of shoes in the hall....it always looked so untidy. I ordered the shoe cupboard and am delighted with it. It was delivered at the time and date advised. It is a very stylish and well made piece of furniture as well as being practical. Wish I had bought one years ago!

All my office needs in one unit
I bought the Large Hidden Office Oak Twin Pedestal Desk from the Wooden Furniture Store when I started up my home business. I was delighted with the service I received, the value for money and the versatility of the unit. It hides away my PC, printer and all the unsightly wires, and doesn't look out of place in my Victorian home.

Lovely furniture. Helpful service. Speedy delivery.
We recently bought a lovely oak TV cabinet from the Wooden Furniture Store. The cabinet is sturdy and made of good oak. We're really pleased with it and the quality is fantastic.
The service was also good. I managed to enter our details incorrectly when ordering it and was helped quickly to sort out the problem.
The TV cabinet arrived within a week and the delivery company was great. We were able to choose a delivery slot that worked well for us and it turned up on time.
All in all, it's been a great experience and I would definitely recommend the Wooden Furniture Store to friends.

Really impressed!
I was most impressed with this company. They informed me of the day and time of delivery, contacted me on the due date when they said they would and duly arrived at the designated time. It's a great product as well - really solid and well built. What more can one ask!
