Went to the Epping branch today. Average service, they managed to get the main course wrong for both of us. Food was very disappointing and poor value. How they can charge £7.75 for the Prawn starter is beyond me.
Burger bun (that I didn't order) was burnt.
It seems to me that they are taking advantage of the Government scheme for August and offering 2nd rate food for the lower price.
I can't see them staying in business for too much longer unless they up their game.

My wife and I booked a table for 6.30pm at the Billericay branch yesterday. Our server was Marius who was extremely efficient and very soon we had water and a bottle of wine on the table.(Table 21)
We ordered a Starter and a Main course. Rather disappointed with the starters (Calamari and Tiger Prawn) Very small portions and I did not think warranted the high price. The Main course was the opposite - very generous portions and well cooked and presented - and only a few pounds more than the disappointing starters. I would eat there again but would bypass the Starters. Service and ambience was good.

A while back I was offered a trial shift at the Kingston branch of Wildwood following a successful, but unusually short, interview. I accepted the trial shift but I was unfortunately unaware of the dishonest nature of this branch.

The trial shift began early at around 9am and lasted until 12 or 1pm. Upon arrival I met 2 other people who also made the mistake of accepting trial shifts at this awful place. It wasn't long before I had the misfortune of meeting the manager and was quickly introduced to her rude, unprofessional attitude. Some other workers were assigned tasks but nobody bothered to let me know what they'd like me to do, it was at this moment that the manager approached me and said "Why don't you make yourself useful and do something?" in a condescending and patronizing tone, the irony of course was that she was standing around taking up space doing absolutely nothing. I spent most of the day doing very little work and was instead told to go outside to the nearby market place and hand out leaflets to people advertising the restaurant. Most people refused them, clearly they have good taste and know better than to waste their money at Wildwood.

At the end of the day I sat with another manager (not the rude, very large, manager I was forced to acknowledge earlier) where he proceeded to lie to my face, making promises such as "We will definitely call you with an update within the next few days", naturally said promises were not kept because Wildwood is not an honest restaurant. I waited for the phone call that the manager promised, only for it to not come, too busy to call the people who worked for you for free? I then called the manager who, I would later learn, had prepared many more lies for me. He said he would DEFINITELY call me back within the next few days. He didn't. He can manage a restaurant but can't pick up the phone? I called him again after he failed to perform the extremely easy task of picking up a phone, dialing a number, and informing the people who he happily exploited with unpaid trial shifts with an update that he promised to give. I was once again fed another lie where he promised to call. He did not.

A very dishonest, rude, poorly managed, exploitative and unpleasant establishment. Food is below average too.

Wildwood Crawley is fantastic. We have missed going there and can't wait to go back. Brilliantly run with an excellent menu. Sticking with Deliveroo for now due to family in the high risk category but hope to be back in soon once this is all over!

Maidstone Branch are amazing, we try to go once a month as a treat (although not recently with everything being closed!) we even had our wedding meal in the private area downstairs which looked so pretty. Excellent value for money, fantastic food and even better staff. Can't wait for it to re-open.

Went to Telford branch on a Friday night, decided to go in because it was all but empty. Now we know why it was empty

We do not blame the staff, they are all kids and doing there best, management is non existent. Sat for 45 minutes waiting for a burger, no drinks brought over, people coming in after us, eating then leaving before us.

When the burger arrived 60 minutes later it was incorrect so had to walk out, the pasta meal we ordered was not just swimming in grease it was submerged like an Italian U-Boat.

There was no organisation or control, the young employees were doing there best but were clearly let down by no management on site. These employees who are in there first jobs trying to learn but with nobody there to learn from. This location will soon be out of business.

It has a terrible reputation locally and the poor young employees take all the heat for it. #KitchenNightmare #ServiceNightmare

Wev been to Peterborough cathedral square branch quite a few times now and despite several minor issues each time like cold food or sloppy mayo we have shrugged it off
Now forgive me it’s not a cheap place and my family look forward to a trip out
Tonight - Xmas eve which Iv looked forward to for ages ...... well what a disappointment
Nothing left on menu and zero steak in the house!!!!!! None - clearly catered before Xmas day and didn’t care
That wasn’t the only thing out of stock
Manager couldn’t give a damn and said well wev run out
Then don’t advertise on your menu - simple !!!!!
Made excuse after excuse - well ‘ thats What we have’
Shocking service and unacceptable
Hasten to add We will never go back to a Wildwood again and will soon pass the word around

I came to the Telford branch with my daughter for the first time on the 29tj of November 2019 & our meals were very poor quality . My burger was burnt & my daughter garlic bread was the same . Very disappointed

Both Fraser and Virginia were awesome. They looked after us so well.
They both were very friendly and made us feel special. It was very busy but that didn’t stop them making sure we had a great time.

I had a meal delivered to home however I was not impressed with some of the food nor their customer service. I ordered some halloumi fries at £5.50. They looked nothing like the website photo and no way were they worth such a rediculous amount. I complained to Wildwood who told me they had forwarded my concerns on to the Manager of the Hereford outlet. I have heard nothing. They also suggested I take it up with Deliveroo? I have followed up with Wildwood to say I have heard nothing from the Manager and that I don't feel Deliveroo have any responsibility for Wildwood meals??? Time has passed and I have recieved no further contact.

The restaurant in Kettering is clean, has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Service was really efficient and the menu had lots of choices. Every meal delivered to the table was excellent. Can happily recommend this restaurant.

The food and service was great! But the restaurant itself isn't the best, it's all open plan meaning it's one of the loudest places I've ever eaten and not somewhere to go if you're hard of hearing.

Great restaurant, lovely friendly staff. Great choice of food, we had both meat eaters and vegetarians in our party, one lactose and gluten free. Nothing was too much trouble, they bought in lactose free milk especially for us. We all enjoyed our meals, thank you.

Booked for 7pm
We were seated at a tiny table against a brick wall that afforded no view to the restaurant. I had to change a chair from the table as it was full of stains.
We shared this area with a table for a staff laptop and items. The service computer was sited on a counter next to it. Next to that were various ‘kitchen/ bar accessories’. A door to ‘private’ and a door to ‘Staff Only’.
This door was opened frequently with staff taking in used dishes with foodstuffs piled up. Inside I was witness to the washer-up and various kitchen delights. Staff were accessing the service computer regularly, the room ‘private’ and the laptop. So far from a relaxing dinning experience.
Trying to ignore all these goings on, our starter arrived, which was cleared away promptly.
We then sat waiting and waiting for our mains, all the time bearing witness to all the kitchen and restaurant admins and goings on, non of which are conducive to a nice evening out.
Eventually, at around 8pm a waitress asked if she could get us anything else. Our mains would be good !! Within minutes the food arrived. An egg for my Florentina Pizza was raw!
It was quickly removed and returned to me after a further 2 minutes in the oven. Pizzas were served on the once black plates which were grey in the middle where the black substance had been worn away, probably into the food people eat off them, they were too big for this tiny table and hung over the sides. The pizza was dry and unappetising. By this time I had lost the will to live let alone eat.
The restaurant flour was absolutely filthy and the whole ambiance of the place was tired and grubby, looks like another Jamie Oliver catastrophe in the making.

First time in jersey stayed at the aqua beach and have to say this was a great time here, right off the beach and just pleasant experience

We use to dine at Wildwoods in Gloucester South Kensington every week without fail until they sold the site. We knew the senior manager Hugo as the service was always good.

Unfortunately as result of this we tried to dine at there branch in Gerrards Cross. Sadly the manageress at this branch is rude and a total racist. Today was a classic example when we walked in we were told to return back after one hours and fifteen minutes. We did as we were told to take a seat despite many empty tables. We then realised that the manageress made sure that every single person that came after us were given a table as we were totally ignored. Eventually she took us to a dirty table and when we complained, she told us we will need to wait for another 1 hour and continued cleaning and giving cleaner tables to other customers who didn’t have to wait like us who simply got a clean table. I realised that as we were Indian she didn’t like at all. This is not the first time we have been disrespected in this abhorrent way and I find her behaviour very personal and disgusting. We have now stopped going to this branch. Perhaps Samuel Kaye the owner should know how a member of staff is insulting a customer. She ruined our evening and behaved like she owned the place. Really a nasty person. It amazes me that Wildwood sends out 50% discount vouchers in a bid to increase customers flow & loyalty in their restaurants and yet customers are treated in this awful and disrespectful way, which only causes more damage to the companies customer relations and reputation!

They say ... 50% off food Monday & Tuesday. Valid in selected sites only and when presented with a valid QR code. Offer valid for a maximum table of x8 people. No mention of how you book, only the number of people per table ...

We had two tables, one with six, one with seven people, booked on the phone.

Fatal error. The offer is subject to invisible conditions one if which is If you book on the phone, (they say), the offer doesn't apply.

Nice of them to point out the invisible terms of the offer, after we got there.

Recommend them. Has H*ll frozen over????

25 minutes wait for a vegan bruschetta starter which was nothing special and expensive for what it was.
45 minutes wait between starter and main meal which was incorrect when it arrived. Meal was returned and I was assured correct meal would be ready in 2-3 minutes, 15 minutes later it arrived. Bill was incorrect overcharged by 40%.on all vegan foods. Very disappointed.

This restaurant in our little collection of restaurants in Old Market Hereford is never that busy. However, I wonder why when since eating there for mothers day and last night, you can't fault anything. The waiter/waitresses were great throughout! As a starter, we ate breadsticks with a pesto mayo on mothers day but there was a different menu in which they were no longer available. The waiter suggested that they could be made for us so that was great. Then for dessert, my partner couldn't choose between to options and asked waitress to make a decision, she said well the brownie is homemade - something you rarely hear these days in chain restaurants, so he jumped at the opportunity. Overall, very friendly, happy staff, lovely environment and great food/drinks (coke from was bottle and not tap) :L
