Hadrians Wall Cycle Tour
Thought the accommodation was first class. The bike route kept us off busy roads and the Garmin was easy to navigate with. Had lots of time to explore museums and fort’s along the way.

Fantastic hike
Fantastic hike, gorgeous views. It would have been helpful to know a little more about the places we stayed. For example the village we stayed in on Monday had no options for dinner open on Monday. Had we known we could have picked something up at the last village we hiked through. Also, three of the places we stayed were owned by the same company and so had identical menus. The menus were fine but it would have been nice to know so we could have picked up some other options for variety. Also, on a challenging hiking day we went past our hotel, The Rising Sun, it was well below us and couldn't be seen. Fortunately, a local asked if we needed help. He said people often hiked miles past the hotel. Better directions would be helpful. All these 'complaints' were of little consequences balanced on the fantastic hike and wonderful accommodations found for us.
