Wickes - Haverfordwest Omdömen 

Deciding the kitchen in my new home suited none of my needs so I made an appointment with Wickes for a designer to pay a visit.
A young man called Gareth came on time. We discussed what didn't work for me and his ideas to improve things and he measured up. A week later I went to the store in Haverfordwest to see the computer mock up of hus design. We discussed things more abd he made some amendments.
My main choice at first was that I wanted the doors to be pink. Second that I wanted to include the corner larder.
I decided to ponder the plans and returned a second time. Moved fittings around further. Then I visited the store a third time by which stage I had honed the things I definitely wanted and those I absolutely did not.
In all, Gareth redesigned the kitchen at least four times. Always patiently, never giving the impression he was irritated, which woukd have been likely!
By now I knew I didn't want Shaker or any cottagy designs, no handles, definitely no ledges to gather dust. I wanted pink, and totally unfussy. No Shaker style or cottagy details. Sleek. The price had gone way up beyond my original limit, but to have exactly what I wanted it was going to be necessary.
But sleek proved the undoing, there is no sleek in pink, not at Wickes. Pink meant ledges, sticking out handles.
I feel sure designers work on commission and there was no commission from a sale to me. Gareth was polite and patient and genuinely a decent young man. He didn't try any less for me taking up so much if his time. He answered every question and did his absolute best to help me achieve the kitchen I wanted. I would highly recommend Gareths services when you want a new kitchen or bathroom.
All other staff I came into contact with were also helpful. Well done Gareth and Wickes.
My apologies for not writing a review at the time. I popped into Wickes the other day to view worktop I'm buying and spoke to Gareth which has prompted me to write.

Wickes in Haverfordwest
I was served by Mair at the till. I ordered a few bags of ballast aggregate and cement for delivery.
Mair was very efficient, polite and smiley which is nice to see.
The cement paper bags were well protected by additional polythene bags which was practical and helpful.
The delivery was for the next day at an additional £5. The delivery was on time. I was well informed by the delivery company and track the delivery van's progress.
The only downside of ordering a delivery is that there is no way of adding delivery instructions for the delivery company, in this case City link. I was told by customer service that once I got the delivery txt from City link I would be able to add delivery instructions but that's not the case. There's no way of contacting them at all which is frustrating and inefficient. Can Wickes please do something to improve this?

Amazing staff and amazing customer service

I’m currently renovating a property, and Wickes Haverfordwest are always incredibly helpful! A big thank you to Alex for his help today.

A huge thank you to the team at Wickes for supporting our playgroup with a community donation, nothing was too much trouble, and we are so grateful- we have been able to complete projects that will benefit the children massively.

I went to the shop and I was served by a polite lady named Mair very obliging nothing was too much trouble it was a pleasure to spend my money there thank you Mair for helping me I just hope there is more people like you about.

Great customer service as always lovely to see they are supporting local charities like Pembrokeshire frame with there garden projects.

Wickes Haverfordwest. Awful, truly awful installation and customer service. New on-suite ordered 14/10/25. Installation delayed until 16/2/26 due to no fitters available. Shower enclosure has leaked in multiple places from day one due to installation errors in multiple places.
Now well into the 5th month with a shower that leaks every time it’s used, multiple promises from Customer Service team at Wickes, but each one fails to deliver any positive commitment or total removal and replacement which has been promised.
No doubt this review will be met with a response saying “..we’re sorry this is your experience, etc….” But Wickes have had 5 months to resolve this terrible installation amicably, but haven’t.
Think long and hard before you spend your money at Wickes, and from my experience, as soon as the store in Haverfordwest have made their sale and got their commission, they will not help you….

I am in the middle of renovations and needed help with some plasterboard holders. I visited Haverfordwest branch and Terry came to help and advised me what to use along with what screws and suitable brackets. It's not the first time I've visited and Terry has been very informative on the specific product for the job. The end result was a safe load bearing shelf.
