Wickes - Chorley Omdömen 

I have a none visible disability. I asked the desk for help. She advised I got a trolly whilst she called someone. I did with a little difficulty.
Selsey arrived. What a credit to her. So knowledgeable and helpful. Took my trolly sourced and loaded my boards took them to my van and.loaded them.
I offered to buy her a coffee or drink but she thanked me and said you get plenty to of brews.

Got a kitchen designed by Chris. Great bloke, got it sorted for me really quickly and no daft sales tactics just honest and reasonable price too! Would recommend to anyone interested in a kitchen at an affordable price and for a friendly quick kitchen design. No complaints.

Tom Iddon was our design consultant and he was excellent from the start - respectful, punctual and helpful throughout, his design ideas were way above the other company's and captured our attention immediately. Well done and many thanks - Amanda!

Lovely customer service from Uzor made the Chorley store visit very pleasant. She is a credit to the store who adds personality and smile to customer's experience.

We ordered our new kitchen through Ray and he was brilliant from start to finish, helping us to decide on which kitchen we wanted and being so patient when we changed our minds! Very organised and helpful, all went smoothly and we love our kitchen 😊

There were lots of staff on to provide help and support, each member of staff I spoke to was friendly and helpful. I was happy with the pricing of the items I got and lots of stock to choose from. The staff in chorley do really listen and try to help the customer, which makes for a positive experience.

Ray was a brilliant help from start to finish. Came out and discussed exactly how we wanted our kitchen and the what worked within our budget. Then went into store where everything was finalised. Very helpful and friendly. Whole process easy and relaxed.

We dealt with a gentleman called Tom .. very friendly down to earth fella … no pushy sales tactics just 100% helpful with a vast knowledge of the products Wickes supply/fit ! We have been to numerous competitors in the kitchen sales industry….. Tom was the difference plus the quality of product we chose to go with wickes…..
After first meeting with Tom we chose what we wanted … his words were ( Leave you to think about your choices/decision contact me in your own time what you decide you want to do ….. you have my number nice to meet you both ) Perfect in my opinion I hate to be rang/text/what am doing about kitchen ect …. Tom left us to it ! Unlike certain other kitchen suppliers 🙄 Anyway we went back today 9/6/2026 …. Asked more questions all answered spot on …. Deposit paid looking forward to our Wickes kitchen to be fitted …. Professional from start to finish…. Ray our designer was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made helpful suggestions and spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were happy. We are very happy with the end result. Jeff our fitter was also amazing

Left with a huge pile of rubbish on my drive for weeks. Wickes sub contracts to Hippo Waste Management who are refusing to collect the rubbish and I’m caught in the middle. I’ve already had thieves on my property helping themselves to scrap which makes me feel vulnerable and unsafe. Wickes customer service is useless, they keep telling me they will contact Hippo then I hear nothing. It’s such a shame as the installer subcontracted by Wickes ( Ian) and the store designer (Tom) were great but this has completely ruined the experience. I’ve contacted Citizens Advice as I continue the battle to have the waste removed. I will never buy a product from Wickes again.

Ray, showed us care and attention at every stage of designing, organising and buying our kitchen. We cannot thank him enough for all his expertise, knowledge and kindness. This is what customer service should be when spending this amount of money.

Went to see Ray in kitchens. He was brilliant. So helpful and guided me perfectly. Will defo stay and Wicks to my friends and family.

Recently ordered 2 bathrooms to be fully installed - have encountered issues with wrong parts being ordered and then severe delays in ordering replacement. They have now marked job as complete so installer can be paid while I am left with an UNSAFE and incomplete shower unit, among other things.

An update after Wickes response below - 2 weeks now passed and outstanding works still remain and despite Wickes stating they would review, no response from their concerns/complaints team. Shocking!!

Ray was very helpful, listened to our ideas and made suggestions with lots of options. He gave me every confidence that my kitchen will be as I dream it !!

The process of booking a home consultation to agreeing our final design was really quick and simple. Tom has been really helpful - looking forward to the work being completed!

I went into the Chorley store and Ben from building supply was absolutely amazing. He was so patient, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. What amazing staff you have. It made the whole experience easy and has certainly made Wickes my go to store. Thank you

Went into Wickes Chorley to see if they had some tiles as the Preston branch didn't have enough and were not very helpful. We spoke to Harvey, what a lovely lad, took every box of tiles off the shelf looking for the correct batch number and even though they didn't find enough for our requirements he said they would keep them until we had checked if any other shops had any. Unfortunately they didn't but the service he provided was excellent.

I dealt with Ray Lythgoe who helped me price and design 2 bathrooms. Ray has been great, very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Never pushed any products onto me, let me decide what I wanted and worked with me to get the designs done. Would highly recommend, 5 star service.

We've now experienced Wren, Howdens & Ray at Wickes Chorley. No competition on service, genuine customer interest or price. Ray took a "breath of fresh air" approach to helping us and, to be completely frank, we had pretty much decided we were going to buy from him before he'd worked out the price. Trust is very important when making major financial decisions such as buying a kitchen and Ray quickly earned our trust with his genuine approach. Thanks Ray much appreciated. Tony & Alison
