I chose Wickes after a friend, who had recently used them for a bathroom installation, spoke very highly of their service. After getting in touch with the store, I was introduced to Jing Wang, one of their design consultants, and I’m so glad I was.

Jing has been absolutely exceptional from start to finish. She offers first-rate advice, and is genuinely a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, personable, and always willing to go the extra mile.

I honestly don’t think I could have got through this process without her. She has gone above and beyond, helping to liaise with the installation team and providing clear, practical advice to keep everything on track.

If you’re considering a new bathroom or want to work with a design consultant who truly cares about delivering a great experience, I couldn’t recommend Jing highly enough. You’ll be in very safe hands.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of working with Imran Ali from Wicks in Blackheath, a kitchen designer who delivered an excellent service from start to finish.

From the outset, he was professional, focused, and clearly committed to getting things right. He took the time to understand exactly what I was aiming for and came back with practical ideas and smart design suggestions that genuinely improved the final result.

His knowledge and attention to detail were obvious throughout the process. He was always patient, willing to answer questions, and happy to make adjustments to ensure the kitchen matched what I had in mind.

What impressed me most was his commitment to doing the job properly. Nothing felt rushed, and he made sure every detail was considered. The end result exceeded expectations in both functionality and appearance.

I’d confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and skilled kitchen designer. He made the whole process straightforward and hassle-free.

We have recently had our en-suite bathroom remodelled through Wickes Blackheath.

Jing Wang was our point of contact from first enquiry all the way through to completion and we can't speak highly enough of her - from helping us with the design and parts choices including creating a 3D model for us to visualise the design to ensuring all deliveries were here on time and answering all our last minute questions and panics. Jing also chased us to make sure things got agreed so we could take advantage of an offer that was due to end shortly that saved us a lot of money.

She's always made herself available when we've needed her and always a pleasure to work with.

The fitter that Jing assigned for our work (Arlo's Plumbing) were brilliant - professional, fast and pleasant to have around. The standard of work is absolutely first class. We'd recommend them to anyone.

We recently had a new kitchen installed. We were originally planning to use Howdens to supply the kitchen units but once we had spent a short time with Jing Wang at Wickes Blackheath, we were sold on Wickes instead. Jing made the process of designing the kitchen easy. She listened to what we wanted and came up with good ideas to make the best use of the space available. She was careful to check that we had made the right choices of items and when we subsequently needed additional items to complete the job, she was quick and efficient in ordering the extra bits and pieces. I thoroughly recommend Jing and we are also happy with the quality of the kitchen itself.

Bought our kitchen at Wickes last summer. Replaced all units and made required improvements to electrics and plumbing. Really happy with the design consultation we had with Jing at Blackheath. She was super responsive and very helpful with sorting out issues. Our fitter Tudor was very quick.and efficient and did a very satisfactory job with the units. He also exceeded expectation by responding positively to some minor additions and.changes we wanted to make. Nas, his boss, was also highly responsive and helpful and clearly the comes between him and Jing was good, too. Some.minor gripes with the flooring we chose not lying absolutely perfectly on our old concrete floor and the Wickes units themselves showing every finger mark (constantly having to clean them.down). Overall a brilliant service from all concerned.

Hayley did an incredible job assisting me with a delivery that didn’t arrive. Haley called Customer Services and patiently waited on the line for over 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Haley for a promotion. Thank you

I was pleased with the advice I received from Imran during a recent home visit. He was professional, communicative and thorough, and able to advise on next steps in the process.

Upon a visit to the store in Blackheath, I found myself struggling to load my car with the goods that I had purchased. A very kind lady who worked in the store called “Hayley” noticed that I was having trouble and went out of her way to assist me in loading my heavy goods safely. I was extremely grateful.

Overall, we’ve had a really positive experience with Wickes for our bathroom remodel.

The standout has been Sadia. She was genuinely indispensable from start to finish, made the whole process feel effortless, and if it wasn’t for her help and brilliant design, we honestly wouldn’t have gone with Wickes. The fitter we were assigned was also great, and we’re beyond happy with the final result.

The reason this is 4/5 stars (rather than 5) is down to the delivery/product issues. Wickes sent two damaged doors, the replacement never arrived, and we also received a broken toilet, which caused around a week’s delay. Not ideal when it’s a bathroom you’re trying to get finished.

Big thanks as well to Toby and Charlie who delivered the products, they were extremely friendly and a real credit to the team.

Thank you Imran Ali, for helping us choose our new bathroom to installation and going beyond to make sure we had a smooth transition!

First of all, my bathroom tiles were all delivered kerbside meaning I had to lift 17 x 25kg boxes from the street to my 2nd floor flat.

Next, my shower screen was not delivered prior to installation as expected. Wickes rebooked the delivery for day 3 of the installation, but booked it kerbside delivery so I had to reject the delivery as unable to carry a 60kg shower screen into 2nd floor flat! They then rebooked it, and when I contacted the supplier directly they said it was yet again booked kerbside. They then rebooked it, but it got smashed during transit. It finally got delivered 8 days after the installation started.

When they cleared the old parts away, they left a mess in the hall, the lift, and the entrance - damaging the floor, walls, and leaving mess everywhere. I had to scrub walls, floor, and the lift after they had removed it.

Finally, Wickes were largely unresponsive while trying to get support from the above. When they finally got in touch, they offered a gesture of goodwill. Unsurprisingly, this not been honoured, and when I’ve tried to contact them about it - they yet again do not reply!

Do not go near Wickes for a bathroom installation unless you want to carry the parts from the street into your flat yourself, or if you want parts to arrive over a week after your installation has started. Expected a lot better customer service after paying £10k, but seems as soon as they’ve taken your money they want nothing to do with you.

I went to Wicks to buy a kitchen worktop and Aicha was incredibly helpful from start to finish. She was so patient while I decided which worktop to go for and gave great advice to help me choose the right one. She also made sure I could get my delivery before Christmas, which I really appreciated.

Waited all day for a delivery slot 7am-7pm, from Wickes Blackheath that didn't arrive. Called the store and apparently it was an 'input error', yet they didn't even contact me to let me know it was cancelled. They also said there was no way to contact the courier to ask what time they could re-deliver. No apology despite inconvenience caused. Order 688196487

Peter is so helpful. I’m down helping my daughter put in a kitchen. Been in Wickes 4 times and Peter has helped us every time. Even providing innovative solutions for unusual pipe sizes. Highly recommended.

Sadia Malik at the Blackheath store was excellent from beginning to end. She designed my mum’s bathroom and my mum recommended her and I was so happy to work with her on my kitchen. Sadia was available to help at all times. I had initially wanted cream cabinets and a light worktop but Sadia showed me how darker cabinets looked nicer with the worktop I wanted. Sadia worked with me altering the layout for the design for the kitchen to get the best most efficient layout and Sadia was available throughout the fitting and deliveries. I am so happy with my new kitchen and so grateful for all of Sadia’s help which made the process much more enjoyable and much less stressful!

Peter make my experience incredibly easy and he was very helpful and professional , he’s the reason why I choose to shopping in there. SDM
