Initially sceptical, but now converts.
We were very sceptical about Air-Source Heat Pumps, but UK AE's installation and the operation of the new system has hugely impressed us, such that we are now converts.
Our system has just had its first annual service and Jay, a most efficient engineer, took me through the process and said our system was super-efficient.
All in all, moving to an ASHP has been a very good experience, and we happily recommend this company.

Great response, professional fitting and commissioning
Great response to assist with a replacement of my solar inverter when it failed.
Inverter arrived early and they even managed to provide me an early replacement date. Technician arrived earlier than expected on fitment date, professionally fitted and commissioned the new inverter in good time. System back online before lunch and only lost 2 weeks of operation.

Excellent battery system
UK Alternative Energy installed a heat pump for me several years ago. They gave me a very competitive quote when I wanted to add a battery system to my PV panels.
Very pleased with the system, and the engineers did a great job of the installation (on a deathly hot day!), everything perfectly in place, tidied up beautifully, and explained everything. I'm now loving seeing how many trees I'm saving, as well as seeing my electricity meter move at a glacial pace!

The installation team were fantastic - they installed the panels, inverter and battery in one day. They were professional, knowledgeable and made sure everything was done smoothly. Been using this company since 2019. They installed our air source system and have maintained it since at reasonable cost.

Great, excellently performing solar and battery installation
The solar PV and battery system UK Alternative Energy designed for us has been performing perfectly since. It's already saved us lots of money and is likely to help reduce our large annual bill to close to zero. They did a very professional job installing the system and have been great at fixing a couple of minor issues. Communication was generally ok, though on occasion we had to prod.

Fantastic install and service
I've known UK Alternative Energy for years so when it came time for us to install PV there was nowhere else to go. I did a comparison quote from a big national company and they came out at very similar prices so they are also good on costs. All of the installers are friendly and helpful with good support from all of the staff, I always use local companies wherever I can and this is the reason why, I would very highly recommend this company to others and already have.

UK Alternative Energy review
We have used UK Alternative Energy for that last couple of years to service and maintain our air source heat pump. Recently we had an issue with a failed component on the hot water system and UK Alternative Energy sent out an engineer to replace the part with in 48hrs. They have also installed a replacement Solar PV Inverter for us. We have found all the staff at UK Alternative Energy to be polite, helpful and understanding and the work to be of the highest standard.

No fuss, no nonsense job done in a day. Well worth the money. Scaffolding was only in place a few days. I live quite a distance from Lincoln which involved travelling time but that didn't make any difference to the job. Ten out of ten to UK Alternative Energy.
