Ripoff

First off, instead of starting with the complaint let me first take the good about this place which is my local UDF has one of the best managers or assistant managers shall I say, that I've ever seen. Based on that part I would give a five-star rating just for the manager. She loves her job, too funny and she's nice and just a pleasant person so there's that I guess. Other than that, they would get a HUGE NEGATIVE ZERO STARS if I could rate that based upon other aspects. First off, I go in there sometimes to buy my little one a banana split for me and her to share. Reason being, my little ones LOVES the strawberries on them, and actually saying love is sort of an understatement. The guy in there was telling a girl how to make it and she was making it and I had to say things like and pineapple and this and that but before that I said I want a banana split with vanilla ice cream and everything that comes on them except for nuts. So I was like don't forget the strawberries and they said we don't have any strawberries we are out. Okay that's understandable that's not what my problem is. What my problem is is that you wait until you're halfway through making my food and then when I say something you tell me that you're out instead of when I first order it you should have been like well we don't have all the ingredients that it takes to make one of these for what originally is supposed to come on them had they had told me that I could have ordered one with strawberry ice cream versus vanilla to make up for the lack of strawberries that they did not have. Oh yeah, no strawberries along with our one cherry we got on it too. I should have just as soon as they said they didn't have everything it takes to put on it and they didn't tell me that they didn't beforehand I should have just walked out of that store and said forget it but I kind of felt obligated since it was halfway finished to pay for it. Come on you UDF, you guys are multi-million dollar company, maybe billions, and there is no need to basically pretty much take from a single mother who's a full-time college student living off of student loans right now he's barely sliding by on the skin of her teeth anyway and when we get these these are considered treats to us well it was a big treat to wait until you're halfway done making my food and then tell me yeah look we don't have everything it takes to make it I don't even think I would have been told had I had not asked about it as they were making it. What a total waste of money I hope that you feel good about what you do to people like me. The reason why I'm even mad in the first place is because when I said I want a banana split I should have been told right up front hey okay that's fine but we don't have everything that it takes to make one or that supposed to come on one I should have been probably offered a little bit of a discount for that but no it didn't work that way! Kind of the way that would be like saying I want $10 worth of gas on pump one and bringing a person up and taking her money and putting in the cash register and say oh, we don't have $10 worth of gas right now we only have about maybe 5.75 worth. And really I don't know if it would even be that big of a deal to me if my kid wasn't involved in this that's what really Burns me and irks me I just wish now that I would have turned around and walked out of that store when I heard that!
