6 weeks post op and the whole experience from the start has been amazing.
My surgery got delayed 12 months due to health issues but Tonic supported me throughout that time.
Definitely recommend they give you the whole package and support to change your life!

I’ve had such a fantastic experience with Tonic Surgery that I wanted to share a review for anyone considering them.

From the very first phone call through to my operation and the months of support afterwards, the entire journey has been phenomenal. The hospital staff, surgeon, dietitian, PT, and nurses have all been incredibly supportive and genuinely caring.

In the first few weeks after surgery they contacted me daily to check in, which made such a difference during recovery. Even now, five months post-op, I still receive regular calls to see how I’m doing and to make sure everything is on track.

The app is also brilliant for tracking progress and staying accountable. Harry, the PT, is especially amazing — he’s very active on social media and runs weekly live chats on Facebook, sends helpful emails, and is always available through WhatsApp. You can tell he truly cares and is there to support you 100%.

I honestly can’t rave enough about Tonic Surgery. The level of care and ongoing support has exceeded all my expectations, and I’m so grateful for the whole team.

I am healthier, more energetic, and more confident than I have been in years. The aftercare has been fantastic—regular check-ins with the after care team made all the difference.

The entire experience was very professional, well-organized, and smooth from start to finish. I only wish I had done this sooner.

Information was clear, instructions clear. Every member of staff I have had contact with have been helpful and responsive. The aftercare so far has been excellent - regular phone calls from dietitian, nursing team and personal trainer.

It took me 2 years to finally take the step and have a gastric sleeve. I spoke to Lydia from Tonic a few times and she was so understanding, she discussed everything from.. what is involved, how the day would run, the surgeons, cost and the amazing after care. I decided the week before Christmas that I was going to go ahead and my surgery was on the 12th January 2026. Before my surgery I spoke to the surgeon, dietician, psychotherapist and PT. They were all soo lovely and I felt that they cared and that I wasn’t ’just another patient’. The care is person centred and I was fully informed about every step. They were always on the other end of the phone or email if I needed any advice.
The day of the surgery went smoothly.Mr Dexter was lovely, so calm and relaxed which helped my nerves. I had my surgery in the afternoon on the Monday and I was discharged by dinner time on the Tuesday. I had check ins every day by the aftercare nurse who was lovely and I felt so supported.
The aftercare with tonic is just AMAZING! the aftercare was one of the main reasons I chose tonic. Yes it is tough physically for a few days but having weight loss surgery is a mental battle. Having to change your habits and not being able to turn to food when you want too is hard but the aftercare team has made it soo much easier. I am 6 weeks post op and I am starting to feel better in myself, my confidence is slowly but surely growing. I am 33lbs down from the start of my liver reduction diet and I can’t wait for the future.

Tonic is the no.1 weight loss company. FACT. Right from the start, Lydia co ordinator was amazing and so friendly. I got to see my options in a calm manner. There was no rush! I chose my surgeon, Dr Alkhaffaf and didn't I pick well! My gastric sleeve in Jan 2025 went amazing! Tonic aftercare team were and have been fantastic and so supportive! Id never go with anyone else! Absolutely want to give my honest review.
I had an on line teams conversation with Dr Sandip Hindocha to talk about what surgery I was looking for and tell him a little about me and also find out about him. I felt really comfy and drawn to this surgeon.
Next stage was a face to face meeting, I showed Mr Hindocha my arms and other things that bothered me.
We had a good chat of what we felt he could achieve and talked about options.
Again I felt happy, confident and felt a connection to the company.
I was offered a date and given options and full honest prices.
I opted for Hale Private Clinic for my location.
Had a pre op and visited the clinic which I loved.
Op day, felt calm, felt happy and met my surgeon and team and got all marked up and ready for surgery.
Surgery went like a dream, I had an extended arm lift and breast uplift.
I stayed overnight and was really looked after. They got me good healthy food from m&S and checked up on me all the time.
I had a great night and was discharged at 7am with all my meds and paperwork.
Both Tonic (the lovely Bex) and Hale clinic and Mr Hindochas private secretary (Lisa) have been in touch daily to check up on me, They have all been amazing and I can’t fault the after care and advice.
I have been back after a week for my wounds checking and Mr Hindocha came to check on me whilst Noni changed my dressings. Everything looks ok,
I go back again next Tuesday to see if I can remove the tapes.
I cannot recommend all aspects of this plastics journey enough.
I’m so happy with my arms and boobs so far, and when the swelling goes down I will feel even happier.

I had surgery with Tonic 7 months ago and it was the best decision I have made for myself.

From the initial informative enquiry, to the pre and post surgery support, to the actual surgery I have zero complaints.

I feel extremely supported and although I don’t often ask for help, I know it’s there for 5 years if I ever do which was one of the reasons I chose Tonic above other providers.

I has gastric sleeve with Tonic in January 2022. From the initial enquiry, I felt at ease ad there was never any pressure to proceed, purely supportive conversations.
Everything was handled sensitively and smoothly.
I liked that Tonic had steps in place to ensure psychological readiness to proceed and the after care package was fantastic.
I went on to lose 10 stone and have never once regretted my decision.
As soon as I am ready to, I will likely proceed with skin removal surgery via Tonic too.
