The WATCH Lab Omdömen 

Took an Asprey Chrono Automatic for a service to CARDIFF(1387) branch on 16 Feb.2026. Quoted £250 to service,plus if parts required I would be contacted with revised price. £25 deposit paid.The Manager,Jag, did not know the brand and when I mentioned that their on-line Advertisement showed that a ROLEX could be serviced/repaired he told me that was not correct.
I subsequently received a message from the Workshop Team telling me the service price was now £395. I explained what I had been told by Jag,at Cardiff-only to be told to take it up with him!
Today,11 Mar 2026,I collected the watch,and when I asked the name of the young man at St David's Arcade,Cardiff, he took off his name tag and would not give me his name!!. I am sure Sir W.J.A.TIMPSON CBE( a Director) would be disappointed with this incident.

Great service by the Watch Lab replacing batteries in two watches with one requiring an extra repair on opening the back. Service was great, clear expectations on what work was needed by Sarah and completed in timeframe given. Would definitely recommend based on my recent experience of using them.

I took my Omega Seamaster to The Watch Lab yesterday at The White Rose Centre Leeds. This was my first visit and was a goood experience. The guy who served me was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. A new battery was fitted and all the relevant checks done in under 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable. I shall be returning.

Tony was excellent and was able to establish my watch had had a new battery within a two year period.
I had not been made aware of this first time using watch lab - first class service.

The service at the bristol Mall in CribbsCausway is very excellent, you can’t fault anything. The service and work is thorough and Sarah is very pleasant calm and cares for customers and always very helpful answering inquiries.

Amazing service

Took my 30 year old TAG watch to TAG and they couldnt/wouldn't replace the battery. Took it to watchlab Bluewater and Harry could have been more helpful. Great service 👏

Na het langsbrengen van mijn Omega Seamaster Memomatic kreeg ik al snel een prijsopgave en een verantwoording daarvan onderbouwd met foto's van binnen en buitenzijde. Nadat ik toestemming gaf voor reparatie duurde het wel 8 maanden lang voordat de reparatie eindelijk klaar was en ik het weer op kon halen. Het nieuwe glas was blijkbaar zoek geraakt. Eenmaal alles binnen was de reparatie 2 maanden later klaar. Wat wel positief is dat The Watchlab het horloge nog een week hield om te checken of het goed loopt.
Het gebouw zelf in Zaandam is erg publieksonvriendelijk. Je moet bijvoorbeeld telefonisch bellen om toegelaten te worden en dan komt er na verloop van tijd een medewerkster door weer een andere afgesloten deur om het horloge in ontvangst nemen of, gerepareerd, af te geven.
Ik denk dat de reparatie/renovatie wel netjes is uitgevoerd en het horloge ziet er weer als nieuw uit.

I came to get a battery replacement on 19/12/2025 at your Reading store in The Oracle. I paid £35 for the service yet within 2 months the battery had stopped. I was told, by the assistant behind the desk, at the time of purchase that I had a 2 year guarantee on the battery and that to prove I had made the purchase to keep the receipt or even better to take a photo of it, which I did. At no point was I given a guarantee ticket by the assistant merely the receipt.
When the battery stopped I made another trip up to Reading to get it replaced merely to be told that without guarantee ticket nothing can be done.
As a result I have spent £45 including train fares plus my time to be told that a receipt I was given is worthless and quite frankly the service has been scandalous.
I want the replacement battery installed in my Storm watch or my money back.

The Watch Lab, Kingston, Surrey. £55 for a replacement battery (£45) and a replacement pin to fix the strap (£10) seemed shockingly expensive. In hindsight I should have gone to Timpson's, though they might be owned by the same company. I was caught unawares and feel ripped off. Not good.

Quickly told me of the problem and price.emailed me to confirm and again when it was in the store waiting collection. Job done

Brian saved me lots of money by replacing a battery on an old Longines watch which a jeweller said would cost me £260 to get done !

I visited The Watch Lab at Crystal Peaks Sheffield today and was more than impressed by the Service given by Trish.
She was so knowledgeable about watches. I had a new battery and clean on my Omega watch and it has come up like new. I would like to say a big thank you to Trish for such an amazing job.

Sarah made a visit to The Watch Lab a very pleasant experience After taking my watch to 3 different places for a battery change and numerous scratches put on it by others Sarah told me to leave the watch with her whilst I went for a look around After 20 mins I went back to be told battery in and to bring the watch back at later date and they will polish the scratches out. Brilliant. Thanks Sarah

By the time I came to The Watch Lab in Fenwicks, Colchester I had been told by various jewellers that they couldn't fix my watch.
Hannah took a long look at my watch and accepted the challenge, bringing her 15 years or so experience to solving the problem.
She offered different options and provided clear pricing. She was very quick and efficient. Also very friendly and helpful.
She also managed to change the bracelet of a watch that had peculiar fixings.
I highly recommend her.
She has now fixed three of my watches.
