Our customers are modellers, collectors and enthusiasts who are fans of model railways, vehicles (military and civilian), and diecast models and figures. They are also keen kit builders and diorama creators. Our knowledgeable team includes railway modellers and dedicated railway enthusiasts, RC experts and plastic kit enthusiasts. We’re ready to provide you with a premium experience and first-class service. We’re essentially mail order, but we do have an onsite showroom and workshop for visitors to enjoy. We stock all major brands of model railway locos and rolling stock across all gauges at competitive discounted prices, usually around a 15% reduction on the recommended retail price. It’s not just locos - we supply everything you need to compliment your layout from scenery, figures, buildings and electrics to modelling tools, paints and effects. We also sell an extensive range of plastic kits, slot cars, diecast models and aviation models.

I live in New Zealand and it hard to get model railway stuff out here, so I have to send to England for it.
I contacted TMC about buying something from me they gave me a good price and were very helpful and friendly. I also did a purchase with them and again I got first class service. I cannot fault them in any way and will use them regularly from now. I found very friendly helpful and experienced.

Great service, mostly good website
The website was a little lacking on up-to-date product images and stock level explanations, but the price was competative and the actual service was faultless.

The Model Centre staff do a great job
The Model Centre staff do a great job, always helpful and very knowledgeable. As i live in Australia it is impossible for me to get into store, but their services are first rate. As an example weathering of rolling stock, these guys are so good and the locomotives look totally real. product delivery is first rate and the fact things are tracked for safe delivery just makes the overall experience even better.
