The only positive thing this gym has is the range of equipment it has however the lack of standard hygiene is poor. My first time at the gym.
I could not find at least one sanitise spray to clean up after myself and before someone else. The basic tools for hygiene, especially in a public gym. That myself and others have to work out on sweaty equipment because I do not have available anything to clean. The gym is honestly kept to a poor standard. I myself do not do reviews and this is actually the first time I’ve ever made a review about the gym because of how disappointed I was. I’ve been to so many gyms having moved around and the spray sanitisation disinfectant whatever you call it is always available. This should be necessity. I do not want to start bringing in my own spray and cloth and clean the equipment myself as I do expect this in my membership payment and I repeat basic hygiene. I am not spoiled for choice in Redhill as I believe this is the only commercial gym available and if I had other options, I would be consider.i won’t even start on the smell in the female toilets.

To quote the gym group ‘We're not like other gyms... We won’t tie you into a contract or charge you a fortune every month’

Yet I joined for £20, membership has slowly crept up to £35 now, often the machines are broken. Yanga water is out of use or out of flavour. The regular water is lukewarm. Air con was regularly broken, lift goes out of use a lot. Walls were smashed up recently.

The gym is packed with kids who shouldn’t be there, all sharing memberships. Either that or new members joining for a fraction of what the loyal members are paying.

Recently I was charged over £50 as apparently my direct debit didn’t go through and there’s a £15 charge for that?

I raised this with customer services as a complaint a guy called Haroon responded and pointed the finger at gym staff to resolve issues and did not care at all.

The gym staff and cleaners are exceptional, however at a higher level the people running this place dgaf.

If you want a gym that doesn’t care but says they do, join up!

Redhill gym. Not a great start to the new year when you leave expensive headphones in the locker room after an evening workout, go back early the next morning to pick them up, and they've been stolen. Locker rooms doors are wedged open so your belongs let alone yourself are not secure.

I was surprised to find a staff member as normally there's no one around, sadly they didn't quite know what to do. No contacts details taken for myself, I have to return to see the manager.

I try not to use this gym in the group as it just doesn't compare to my usual one, sadly will be using it even less now.

I am fairly new to this gym and have been really surprised at how vile this place is.
First of all the car park is grim, stinks of urine and weed and is often flooded meaning your feet and shoes get a good soaking before you even enter the building for the gym. Then you have the 14 flights if stairs to reach the gym and while they do have a lift, it must take the prize for the slowest lift in the world. It does break often and when it does it can take 3-4 weeks to get it fixed.
Once you have reached the pod entrance you walk into a rather badly laid out gym. There is no easy route to walk around the gym and as people often hang around the equipment with their mates, it makes this even harder. The gym is clearly in need of a deep clean as there is dirt everywhere and the machines are filthy - you can feel the dirt of some of the equipment.
The changing rooms are probably the worst part as the filth is every from much and protein power left of the floor to rubbish left in lockers, the showers and on the floor. The toilets are always filthy and it's very rare that I don't need to clean the toilet before use. There is a really foul smell from the showers which smells like toilet waste.

This gym does have rules and they are displayed on the walls, however they are not enforced. The type guests that this gym is designed for are those who still live at home with Mum and Dad and don't respect the gym or equipment and expect the staff to clean up after them and put the equipment back they can't be bothered to use. The really sad part is the staff let them do it. If you are someone who does still live at home and let Mum and Dad do everything for you then this is the place for you.

The final thing I will say is while this is a 24/7 gym they have very few staff and there is often no one there after 17:00 each day. They claim the gym is monitored remotely, however I don't believe this is the case as the people who monitor the gym are the same people who answer the intercom system and on the 2 occasions I have used it, no one has answered. If you are thinking of signing up, I would advise you visit before and you ask questions of anything you are concerned about.

I like the gym and mainly the Zumba classes by Tania Santo. She is excellent in energy and conduct Zumba classes every Tuesday and Saturday with lots of moves and I enjoy so much doing it with her. Tania inspired me with her classes and motivates me not to miss even single class. With her classes, I feel active and good with the moves. Your are doing a Great job Tania. Awesome.. Keep going and inspire us with your Zumba moves as always!

Great value for money but can you bring up disinfecting spray bottles and towels ? I know you’re trying to reduce wastage but it’s flu season and we’re still in a post covid era !

The gym in Crawley has just been revamped and it's amazing and their membership is still only 20 kwid and is huge, in Redhill it's half the size more expensive and always so full with young kids over capacity on machines of being able to get anything done.

I have been a member of this gym almost since it opened and it was excellent value for money and was very well managed and Maintained but sadly things have turned.

The first thing I will share is that the Gym provides parking in the basement carpark which is home to it's own river courtesy of a large leak that has been present for the last 3-4 years. You will often find groups of teens smoking weed so if you need a little pick me up before you exercise then this gym could be right for you. If you are lucky enough to leave the car park by the Travelodge exit then you will get your shoes washed on the slightly flooded carpet on the stairs, but be careful not to slip.

As you enter the door for the gym you have a choice of 13 flights of soiled stairs or a lift that is possibly the slowest lift on earth.

The gym has pods to enter but these can take time if there are 3-4 people wating to get in or out.

Once you are in the gym you will almost certainly notice the grimy floors, walls and equipment which is long overdue for a deep clean.

Make you way to the changing rooms which are filthy (I can only speak for the men's) but they do stink. There is often rubbish left by guests and many lockers are broken. The showers often smell and as the the shower and toilet waste are linked I imagine the smell is from the urine and faeces from the toilets. The condition of the changing room is poor because the users have little respect for it.

The gym was a nice place to use but the rules are not enforced and many of the guests abuse the equipment and have no respect for the gym, staff or equipment. It really feels like the gym is ideally setup for those who are used to having Mum or Dad tidy up after them and the Gym management (external) refuse to enforce the rules or maintain/fix damage caused by guests.

They may reply to this saying they work hard to maintain the gym but that is rubbish. I have taken many photos for proof this is not the case and would urge anyone looking at the gym group to bare this in mind.

I am sure there are other sites which are in better condition and hope that Redhill is just n exception but it does surprise me that as a very busy gym the invest very little to keep this gym clean or well maintained.

The Gym in Redhill is always kept clean. The staff are friendly and approachable. It’s a very busy gym but there’s always plenty of equipment to use. As an older woman I always feel safe and not too out of place there! I must admit I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do!!

The size of the gym is decent. But the equipment/machines need a bit of an upgrade/change. Could do with a decline bench unit and/or decline press machine. More cable attachments, some ez bar weighed barbells.

There seems to be less and less staff, who aren’t very visible at the best of times. Hardly any of them say hello or seem like they want to be approached and only care about their personal paying clients.

Too many kids hogging machines / equipment not doing anything and the staff don’t engage and get them to hurry up.

This asks for a date of my experience, but this is an ongoing thing. So that date posted isn’t correct.

The shared entrance from the Carpark is constantly flooded and general area is dirty.
The tap in men bathroom has been broken for a while now. More cleaning /wiping down station are required at the ends of the floors not just in the middle section.

Generally happy with the gym and equipment available

Would be great to have access to the carpark when returning after 10pm via the shared access with the hotel. As after 10pm you have to walk the long way around the building.

Clean gym, friendly staff

Friendly staff, great facilities. Other customers are nice. Love the 24/h aspect, free parking and in my package I can choose 1 of 3 gyms to go to which i love.

Really good gym with helpful and friendly staff members. Could do with more efficient air con, but overall good gym

I’ve been going since the new year, after a long time injured it was difficult to get going again and I hadn’t been to a commercial gym in over 4 years.

Fantastic gym with a wide selection of well maintained equipment.

Good price and no contract.

Only downside is the showers are naff and the classes are a bit of an afterthought (my partners opinion since I don’t use them).

Great staff, clean gym and friendly atmosphere

Redhill, Surrey: The gym is excellent value for money and the equipment is, for the most part, good and sufficient in quantity. The cleaner is excellent and very friendly. 1 star lost because the women filming in the gym are becoming a pest, enabled by some of the Gym staff. Did you consider whether the other gym users have given their consent or agreement to being filmed or commented on, on Social media if they make the mistake of glancing at the person filming themselves?

All very good, clean, tidy, staff friendly & helpful, excellent equipment & facilities & easy free parking.
You used to have 5 clocks, 3 have gone because they stopped working, how about replacing them with digital clocks which young people can read & they don't go wrong. I like to check the time frequently but sometimes can't. I don't wear a watch or have a phone!!!! I like to be able to use a "hand cycle"
