I have been to many gyms in my lifetime…
I have been to many gyms in my lifetime and I must say that The Gym Group Beverley is up there with the top ones. The staff especially John are unbelievably knowledgeable and cannot do enough to help you reach your goals. It’s like having a second family as they are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommended this gym and its staff.

Needs improvement
I've been to a few gyms in my life and while this one is overall alright in terms of available equipment and weights, there are some things that take away quite a lot from it:
1) saw a few weird late nights when some people believe is it alright or "fun" to cram in two friends at a time in one pod to get more in and one night to even have a full on sparring match with said extra friends, run around and fall on the machines while swinging at eachother;
2) there NEEDS to be a disinfectant spray and blue roll available to the customers to wipe before and after themselves. Wiping mats even gently leaves behind dark dirt & grime;
3) there are quite a few people that either never read the code of conduct they agreed to, or never cared to follow it. Plus some that don't know how to use the changing rooms and the bathroom doors so others do NOT see certain things.
Other than the above, it could be a pretty alright gym. Late nights are ideal since there is enough space for everyone to not be waiting on their next machine.

Hi, hope you are well. Robust cleaning regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We encourage members to bring in a sweat towel to use after they have used a piece of equipment. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines.

24 hour opening is extremely convenient, plenty of kit so never waiting for free-weights etc., staff very friendly and price very reasonable. Perfect.
