(Order 3407) Bought a blade machine for a friend as a gift after a while it broke I contacted the company as it’s under warranty and they sent us both a form to fill in my friend filled in the form and no response they never answer the phone and never reply to emails there is a known fault on these machines yet they still sell them knowing they will break soon enough. The customer service is appalling it’s all nice until something goes wrong STAY AWAY.

Package came damaged. Opened it up to find the most filthiest disgusting packaging, splattered with mud or something, it looked like it was packed by someone in a field, the inside packaging was also dirty and full of dirt, fluff, who knows what else. After paying £4.99 delivery, I emailed and only got an apology and excuse of blaming temporary Xmas staff.
I’m just glad I had it sent to me not to the person direct for their Xmas present.

Order experience was simple, it’s a shame the delivery experience was not. Placed the order with them and agreed a delivery date, all good. The day of delivery and less than half my order arrives with no covering letter or anything. I phoned them and they seemed surprised, well where’s their stock control if they don’t know they haven’t dispatched items? Will see if the items turn up as they have now promised tomorrow. I can only hope but after reading other reviews I’m concerned.

Paid an extra £7.99 for 2-3 days, the delivery will arrive in 6 days. Having emailed them they don’t seem too concerned about it, firms should change premium shipping rates only to deliver on standard terms...nice earner if they do this on all orders

I accidentally put the wrong postcode and I immediately emailed to correct this. I was then emailed back a couple of days later saying the address has been updated. I received a dpd message saying my delivery would be today. I stayed in to make sure I didn’t miss the delivery.looks like the postcode wasn’t changed as the delivery failed. I then emailed customer service who said they have changed the address - well I thought this had already been done!!!!!??? Anyway will have to now be in again as you can’t choose the time delivery comes - its an inconvenience!

Have used The Drink shop a few times, I like the vast array of choice especially when buying bottles as gifts. I recently purchased 2 bottles of spirits and a liqueur. Unfortunately one of the spirit bottles had suffered damage, but personally I think it was more to do with the design of the bottle rather than poor handling damage. I contacted The drink shop immediately to explain and I was pleasantly surprised to find a business that is serious about customer service! I was informed that a replacement would be sent the following day and that I was to simply hand the package with the damaged bottle to the delivery man. Replacement received 24hours later. I would happily recommend and use again and again. Good experience 👍🏻

i did pay for next day Delivery but did not come i did get a refund for the extra delivery cost but they did come withen 2 days off ordering still very happy

Mixed reviews on Trustpilot, but my experience was faultless. Had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery (possibly due to Covid), but my order arrived when specified and was well packaged. Just the job when Tesco’s stops selling your favourite holiday tipple. I would recommend the company to friends and I would use them again.

I speak as I find, when I ordered my tonics and then read the reviews I was very sceptical but I'd ordered them. Anyway true to some reviews I had a problem, my order wasn't delivered, when I emailed them they sent back saying it had been delivered, and attached a photo, needless to say it wasn't my house so I emailed back attaching a photo of my front door and porch. Within 24 hours I had another email saying they would dispatch another box straight away.
True to their word 24 hours later I received my tonics.
So I would like to say thank you to whoever I was corresponding with for their prompt actions.
I was unsure whether I would use them again but after the way they dealt with my complaint I definitely will.

They didn't have the wine I ordered so simply kept my money. After waiting 1 month I contacted them. Only then did they refund my money. Not even an apology. I will shop elsewhere in future

Ordered a case of wine last week. Shipped next day but now it is bouncing around the delivery company. Took 3 days to acknowledge the delivery company has it, another 3 days to move it to the depot then stuck on Delayed status for 3 days only for it to change last night to delivery expected today. Except today they changed the expected delivery date to next week. Good thing we are not planning to stay in to wait for it lol. Hope its the right thing when it does get here. We get about 5 deliveries a week from Amazon and other retailers last 2 months even with Covid and no issues.

Buyer beware! I ordered two bottle of Curaçao, and having recently visited the island, I know that Curacao is an alcoholic drink. Despite ordering over 4 weeks ago, it still hadn’t arrived so I called the Company yesterday and they promised that it would be delivered today, to be signed for. It was, in fact delivered to a completely different address: 7 instead of 79 and it actually said leave st 72a if not in! We finally got it this eve, only to discover that the Curaçao is a syrup and has no alcoholic content! Worst experience I have ever had with any mail order company!

Been very happy with choice of wines and delivery all through lockdown. It's when things go wrong that a company shows its quality. Bottle broken on delivery last week. After an email, they redespatched, it arrived super quickly & v securely packaged!

Worked for me😁. Ordered on Thursday and delivered to me Monday evening in Aberdeenshire. Will use company again as reasonably priced and goods well packaged. Delivery driver pleasant and hats off to them and all other couriers for providing an invaluable service in this current climate.

Ordered wine twice. Once - directly, and once through a reseller. Both times the wrong vintage (year) was sent. At least not the one that ordered and stated in their website. Both times the vintage sent rated worse than the vintage received (on Vivino)
They do not seem to update their website as per their stock.
I think customers deserve at least some apology, or being asked for permission about the replacement of the order (which can be a big difference for wine).

The delivery company they are using is terrible too. My order was just left at the staircase at the ground floor, and they did not even buzz to let us know. It is good that we live in a low crime area. Otherwise it could have been stolen.

Never using them again.

We ordered several pouches of fruit puree.
Never expected what we got.
First delivery. Two bottles of rum. No puree.
Fight for some attention. 5 days later we get the second delivery.
They say two out of three aint bad.
Thats what we got. No notification that our apricot was out of stock. No they just send anything they see fit.
They have the Gaul to ask if we want a refund.
Not likely to use these folk again.

The Drink Shop got my order wrong not once but twice. It does not matter how fast your delivery is when you have to deliver the same order to the same address three times to get it right. Keep in mind here, I spent close too £100 pounds with zero compensation and have had to send the product back twice. I will not be shopping here again, neither should you unless you want your time wasted and be played the fool.

First time I have used this site. Order went through with no problems received email saying delivery in two days received it a day early all present and correct. Pleasantly suprised.
