Quality item. Very impressed with both the product and delivery service

Just need to echo what pther people have said.

I have waited the 10weeks for my delivery in time for my newborn baby.

My older son has clothes in bags and was really excited to have his room finished.

I asked for an update and was given a generic email response saying that they have stock problems and it will be another 10-12weeks!!!!!

Can you believe this!! How can a company run itself like this. If this was the case why on earth was I not notified that i will be without furniture for another 3 months! It will be a total of 6 months from order to delivery (and that is if that bloody arrives).

I do a lot of online shopping and I have never experienced such appaling customer service. There is no phone number to contact either.

To make matters worse - i can order the same products i ordered with a lead time of 6 weeks on their website! How is this website allowed to exist…!

Buyers please be aware.

I will have to resort to contacting my card issuer, and I am very tempted to instruct solicitors as this is a repeated horrible situation for many customers with almost no feedback. Will do a bit more research on this company to see if we can establish a group to legally fight against them as my wife is a solicitor.

This has made me extremely upset.

Terrible company. AVOID, after taking our money back in January they only contacted us 8 weeks into the delivery the bed no longer available - without then asking they paused production on the other items - only when we pushed and pushed could they then miraculously make the original bed but would be another 10 weeks…. We are now 7 months in, a generic email received to say it will be A FURTHER 12 weeks and now no one answering or messaging.

Like 15% of reviewers apparently, I'm still waiting for a £600 refund after cancelling my order which went from a 2-4 week lead time for delivery to a further 12-14 week delay. After being told the refund had been 'processed' on 30 June, and having requested proof of payment that it had been sent (and where it had been sent to) I was told by customer services to raise a dispute with my payment provider as they "do not handle anything to do with the finances". Come on, Children's Furniture Company, you can do better than this. Either manage your cashflow more effectively or hold your relationship with your external accounts team to an acceptable standard.

Puzzled how many "good" reviews are posted - makes you question how many are genuine. Do your research before purchasing from this company. Note your creditcard bank/company can't help in any way if you have a dispute as TCFC processes payment through Klarna! Sad as the product online appear of decent quality.

Very poor customer service (and only email communication route) - no update after a "pending payment" email, no confirmation payment has been processed, out of the blue received part delivery of a bed we ordered, customer service unable to verify/advise when other parts of the bed were ever going to be delivered, TCFC collected part delivery items in order to process my refund.
My order number WEB38170-11368 - would appreciate if you can look into it as no sign of refund since February.

Good overall experience.
Took a while for delivery. Product is very good though and happy now we’ve been using for a while . My son has no problems sleeping on it as I was a little concerned we weee making the move into a big bed too soon.

Do not order with this company! Disgraceful service and kept delaying order every 8-10 weeks advising would come and never did. No updates unless we emailed and no contact number. Ordered November and has taken until June to resolve this. After chasing funds of £600 again and again we finally have these.
Would never order through them again!!!

I ordered a bed mid May that had a 6-8 week wait, I ended up cancelling the order as found the same bed elsewhere cheaper and that would deliver quicker. I emailed The Children’s Furniture Company who promised a refund within 10-15 days. After the 15 days had elapsed I contacted them to chase up the refund and received the most bizarre response I have had from a company… basically that they had requested the refund but it was the bank’s fault it had not been received and that I’d have to sort it with them! How this company can justify taking someone’s money, not providing the product and then withholding your money I do not know, I can only assume they are a scam company.

If I do not get my money back I will be taking legal action, just wish I had read the reviews on here before placing an order.

Awaiting refund of £412.98 for a cancelled order, after being told delivery time was 3 months.
So far been waiting nearly 1 month, and still no refund. The company is now claiming they have sent a refund, which is not true. I have now had to involve the bank in retrieving the money. Customer services are now not responding to messages and are un-contactable by telephone. This company is a shame, do not order form them.........

On further investigation on companies house website, this is a complete scam. There are multiple registered companies in this name, many have already been dissolved, with the same director.

Check out the company response below, they write the same on every review. It's completely un true, no one is looking into it or replying to any messages.

It looks like the company is a scam and keeping people's money, all reviews mirror the same as mine.

Still no refund, and the company has cut all communication.
Have contacted the company owners Paul Hanson & Clare Hanson directly, both have not replied.

It seems they are still taking people's money, what a complete scam this company is, AVOID.....

Delivery took a long time but we are happy now its here. It looks great !! So happy with it!!

Great quality & very sturdy. An absolute dream to put together. I had put aside the whole morning but only took me around an hour with the two of us. Feels well worth the money and a bit of a bargain

Lovely furniture piece, tonnes of storage it feels v robust and well built.

Made the purchase a while ago but only just got around to putting it up recently. Got the invite to review and I rarely do write reviews but more than happy to in this instance.

Product (bed) is awesome!!
Quality is the best I’ve seen in furniture kids or just for everyday. None of this chipboard rubbish you get nowadays but good proper hard wood with a quality quality finish on top of it —- bravo 👏
