Ordered in July, waited the 12-14 weeks for delivery and I chased when coming up to 14 weeks to be told the order couldn’t be fulfilled. Requested a refund 10/11/2023 and despite being promised multiple times this would be processed, nothing has been done and no responses to emails. Really disappointing customer service from this company. I cancelled an order mid September and I’m still waiting for a refund from them via Klarna. I’ve just been told several time to wait for my refund!!

I am compelled to write a review about Children’s Furniture Company based on the distressing experience I encountered. Expecting a smooth transaction, I ordered and paid nearly £1,000 for a bed for my child, which included the cost of assembly. However, the promised delivery time of 8-10 weeks turned out to be an empty guarantee. After a lack of communication and only upon our prompting, we were informed of an additional 8-10 week delay. This significant postponement shook our confidence in the company, prompting us to cancel the order and purchase from another supplier.

Regrettably, the ordeal did not end there. The process of obtaining a refund became a protracted saga. Despite cancelling our order well within the communicated timeframe, almost two months have passed without the receipt of our refund. The company’s responses were riddled with excuses, and their customer service deteriorated to the point of non-communication.

I am issuing a caution to potential customers based on my experience: be wary of engaging with this company. The lack of reliability, accountability, and customer service has been stark. I am now considering legal action to recover the funds rightfully owed to us. It is my hope that the company rectifies this situation promptly, demonstrating responsibility and respect for their customers by issuing the overdue refund without further delay.

I urge Children’s Furniture Company to contact me and resolve this issue to avoid legal proceedings. It is not only about the money but also about the principle and the ethical way of conducting business, which thus far has been gravely lacking.

Company failed to meet lead times on the order. Upon asking for a refund they have yet to give me the funds, some 2 months after the request. Avoid using them they are clearly not able to manage their cash flows.

Still waiting for a refund of £382 for goods not delivered! Had several emails back saying they are chasing their accounts, a reply on here already saying they are looking into it! I ORDERED A YEAR AGO!!!

Stay away from this company! Nothing but bother!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In response to this company saying they are dealing with the request to refund our money in one of the previous reviews. They will not provide a refund reference number and we have still not received the money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have kept nearly £1000 of our money. From an order back in April.

Ordered Nevis White 5 Drawer Chest and pack of 5 Butterfly Pink Handles on 24th Sept'22, and the drawer unit finally got delivered in May 2023, but not with the butterfly handles due to supplier issues. After chasing they offered my £20 goodwill gesture, but again after 3months of emails they still haven't passed on goodwill gesture despite repeated promises it has been processed by Accounts dept. And despite assurances that butterfly door handles will be sent in 10-12 weeks (from May'23), it still hasn't arrived and it has been over a YEAR since I placed original order. How incompetent can a business be that they don't know how to manage or know what is happening in their own supply chain and can't process a simple goodwill gesture, despite providing bank details twice! @TCFC, if you see this review please contact me directly to resolve.

posted an order in may, was told they cannot fufill in august, am still waiting for a refund in October and their customer care have stopped responding to messages. I wonder if this whole company is a sham?

We purchased the Princess Bedroom Set in early September with a given lead time of 10-12 weeks. A week after the order we realised that we couldn't really afford to wait beyond the 12 weeks mark (which roughly coincided with the due date of our second born) and panicked a bit, so reached out to the customer support to discuss our options. They were very helpful and were able to deliver a full set to us within 3 weeks from the date of the initial order, which far exceeded our expectations.

A pallet with 7 boxes was delivered to our address. I was a bit worried that the earlier delivery could have been because some parts were missing or damaged, but I was proved wrong again as upon completing assembly everything was in there and in pristine condition.

The quality of each piece is very high, much higher than the bedroom set we previously bought from an established supplier (which was also 500 quid dearer), but had to return due to extremely flimsiness and poor quality build.

All being considered, I think this is a gorgeus bedroom set, of excellent quality build and sold at a great price. Our experience of using The Children Bedroom Company was positive so they deserve 5 stars.

A good purchase and everything just just as I had anticipated.

I ordered 2 x Bedside tables on 24th May 2023. The company emailed me 2 weeks later to say they didn't have them in stock so I asked for a refund. It is now 4th October and I still have not received a refund. The company does not have a phone number to call and their online chat just tells me to email their customer service who keep telling me they will refund the money but never have. I now have to get the money back via my bank.

The company has an Instagram page full of similar stories to mine! A complete scam, please do not order from here!!

This company is clearly extremely dishonest. I would avoid at all costs.
We ordered some furniture in June which said it would be 10-11 weeks. After 11 weeks we contacted them and they said it would be another 10 weeks!
We therefore decided to ask for a refund, which they said would be 10 working days (why?).
We accepted this initally and now a month later we still do not have our money back and continually get fobbed off emails saying that the refund has been submitted and it's all their accounts department!
They are a small limited company with two directors, operating out of a barn in a village. They do have an Accounts Department.
There is clearly a good reason why there is no phone number on their website!

My experience with this company has been terrible. I wish I had never ordered from them after months of delays on my order and now unable to get my money back it has been horrendous. My advice would be not to use them.

It doesn’t look too childish and fits in her box room really well. Quality good and was happy with the amount I paid for it.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase for some wardrobes and chest of draws. They never arrived! No emails from them to keep me informed. I always had to email them. Even though on the website it stated were in stock! hmmmm I dont think so... after 2 months of waiting I asked for a refund. They said ok but that never came.... so I had to speak to my credit card company to get my money back, as clearly they do not have the goods or the funds to reimburse you... ! I would stay clear of this Company.

Ordered a bed, asked around 10 weeks mark to see if everything is going to schedule, they say yes. On the 12th week, I messaged again and they said it would be another 10-12 weeks, bear in mind if you don’t ask they won’t update you. I’ve asked for a refund but it hasn’t come through, it has been over 2 weeks since the refund request was made. Don’t waste your time or money on this company as you will get neither of those things back.
