The Bug Club Omdömen 

Ordered in November for Christmas. Didn't arrive in time then they didn't have any of the second bug in stock. Didn't answer emails for ages. Very unprofessional. I'll be trying unforgottenpast next time . ethically sourced too which is why we initially wanted to support bug club. Avoid a long wait and stress. If you don't have a bug in, then remove it from your site to avoid stress and heartache for collector's.

Made an order on 30th November and products still have not arrived despite three different time being promised they would be dispatched the following day. Now, they are ignoring my emails. Wouldn't order again.

I AM SO ANGRY! Ordered on 6th December with the promise of delivery in 3-5 days. Nothing has arrived just empty promises it's coming and it never does! How can you lie and deceive decent people out of Christmas gifts! You do not deserve anything from loyal customers. You are a disgrace!

Awful. I’m still waiting on my order It’s A Christmas present for my little boy. No reply apart from one that said it would be sent by express delivery. But nothing. No further correspondence. I’ll never use this website again.

I ordered a Frog-legged beetle collection on the 28th November for a Christmas present. I have messaged them numerous times on their only way of contacting them. They replied to the first saying it was going to be shipped by the end of the week, nothing arrived. I have messaged again and again with no response!
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I am now having to raise a dispute via my card company and I will also have one very disappointed sister on Christmas day :(

Still havnt received my order. Ordered Dec 1st...no communication, no direction on how to get in touch. Looks like ive lost my money, utter waster of time.

Still haven’t received my order or a reply to my emails! AVOID!!! This company have taken over £200 pound from my account and are completely ignoring all emails sent to them regarding delivery, there is no other form of contacting them! I have had to raise a dispute with my card provider and will need to wait 5 days for the outcome - not what you need right on top of Christmas - appalling service and dam right upsetting, I am now 3 Christmas presents short without the funds to replace! AVOID!!

Finally received an order placed on the 7th September, not communicated of the delay until I contacted the company. Impersonal responses from customer care. Products are poor quality, and website photos are misleading. The specimens I received are in incorrectly sized bell jars with loose bases and excess glue. Wish I had checked some of these reviews before purchasing.

Avoid at all costs. Placed order which never turned up. Took weeks to respond to emails and had to go through bank to get a refund.

I was concerned after reading other reviews, however took a chance due to the great range of bug frames available.
Took a day or two longer to dispatch than the advised 3-5 days, however when I emailed for an update a response came quickly and they were dispatched soon after that.
I ordered two frames and both were packaged very well in separate tight-fitting boxes inside of a larger box that was full of packing peanuts, so it was very safe.
No issues, and definitely wouldn't be concerned about ordering again.

I waited a month and a half for my bug to be delivered. After a few weeks, I questioned the time frame and they replied very quickly that I should have been notified on a shortage of stock. I wasn't, but left it at that as I had an explanation. Also bearing in mind there are strikes going on, it took a further 5 days for it reach my destination after given tracking information.

Opened my parcel today, only to find the frame was packed upside down, although in its usual packaging and fragile tape all over, the butterfly I had waited 7 weeks for had a wobbly frame, a bent wing and the abdomen no longer attached, just rattling around in the box frame. I have yet to resolve the matter, and I'm sure they will do so in a swift and professional manner. But I have waited a long time for my purchase, and now have to send back using my own money before I see a hint of the cash I spent in the first place. I have ordered a leaf insect before and all went smoothly, yet it seems this company cannot deal with pinned insects (the stick insect was glued)

On my 3rd purchase and so far they have been good. Had an issue (not with them but with the carrier) and they took care of it.

Turned up with no company packaging, piece is clearly made of resin with bubbles and marks, glued to a plastic podium with an awful handwritten tag, no certificate of authenticity included.

Their loyalty scheme is absolutely useless as they never respond to messages regarding it. I have tried for months now with absolutely no answer, not even their half-hearted generic response about covid which too many sellers are using as an excuse for poor service. I will never purchase from them again considering there are other more affordable companies that do a better job.

I received the totally wrong item, which was not gift wrapped despite me having paid for it. I’ve sent several emails asking to exchange the wrong item for what I ordered, all of which have been ignored.

Total scam, avoid!!

I was slightly concerned that my order hadn't arrived yet so I emailed thebugclub to chase it up. They replied very promptly and explained that my order had been dispatched and that they were experiencing delays. Fortunately, the order arrived an hour later and I am thrilled with the quality of the products (x3 butterflies)

There were some delays but the butterfly I ordered arrived and it was beautifully packaged. The customer service was great also via email.

I never received the certificate of authenticity of my three items.. I send 2 emails on your website and one on Etsy, i received only responnse on Etsy, he tell me he send the certificates but it was in november and i dont have any certificates.. One off the three item arrived full bloom roughly a month later than usual...
