Sports Avenue Omdömen 

Bought a Masuri cricket helmet, unfortunately it was too small and needed to be returned.

No confirmation email received or paperwork in the box - otherwise it would be 5 star.

i sent an email informing Sports Avenue i needed a return or exchange. They called a day or so later to explain no suitable stock and talked me through the return process.

Helmet returned to Sports Avenue and arrived on the Friday, Refund received on the Saturday.

i was nervous seeing the other reviews but it was seamless.

I ordered a cricket bat on 15/10/25. Normal practice once the order has been made is to send a confirmation email. I left it until the 17th, then decided to call them. No response. I tried 3 times, only on the 4th attempt did someone answer. I informed him that I had placed an order and to date still not recieved confirmation email, no notification of when it would be despatched/shipped. Nothing. He informed me that I should have recieved an email. I asked him to look on the computer to give me those details. He informed me that the manager would have to do that as he was the only person that had access to online orders and asked me to call back the next day as the manager would be in. I tried to call back on 18th. I tried 3 times and no response. On the 19th I tried 4 times, as their website states they are open 11.00 till 3pm. Again no response. At this point I sent an email detailing my dissatisfaction of the service and that as a business no one answers to phone calls and for someone to either send a confirmation email or give me a call. On 20th I rang again twice, again no response. I tried again later that same day. Someone answered saying that they would check. He came back on the call saying that he could confirm that it will be arriving on 22nd. Even though I asked if he could send me the email whilst I was still on the phone he was unwilling to and informed me that if he says its coming that should be enough. He then went on to ask me if I would call back later as he was getting a cold. Can anyone believe this. I asked him if this shop treated all their customers like this. Anyway the bat didn't come. I then went back on their website where there was the option to send a SMS message. I did that informing them that I am requesting a confirmation of purchase and that if they did not respond within 7 days I would be taking this further and that this would then become a dispute. The next day I got an SMS text message from someone at Sports Avenue sending me a ParcelForce link in order for me to track the item. The bat finally arrived on 27th October. I would never purchase anything from this shop again and would strongly advise anyone thinking of doing so. Their transparency is zero. An unprofessional sports shop. If you want to be fobbed of, lied to, given stupid excuses, asked to ring back as the person you are speaking to is getting a cold then this is the place to shop. A bunch of scammers. Someone in a previous review stated that the wish they had read the reviews first. I agree. I wish I had. I am upset that I had to even give them a 1 star rating. Even thats too good for them PROFESSIONALISM LACKING HERE. ENTER WITH CAUTION

Ordered the item for next day delivery and they sent it Tracked 48 rather than Tracked 24. Absolutely useless. Wish I’d have read the reviews on here first. Avoid like plague.

Ordered a bat for my grandson’s birthday and even chased to ensure it would be delivered by the weekend. Confirmed - but no bat and still nothing today. One distressed grandchild!
After the initial confirmation, no reply to request to cancel the order and refund!
BE WARY OF USING THIS COMPANY - ESPECIALLY VIA MAIL ORDER

Delivered but not great comms.

Bat arrived promptly and well packaged. Good price too.

But front end experience not so good.

Paid. Email to confirm. Never heard re delievery so I chased via two emails. No reply. Tried instagram. No luck. Tried FB. No luck. Called 7 times. No luck. Tried FB messenger. Finally heard back and comms were great!

if I could give 0 I would. same as all the other reviews here - next-day delivery still not received a week later. Don't answer the phone (called 5 times, all at different times of day), don't answer web chat, and don't reply to support email. Absolute shocker, do not use - they will be bust soon enough and they will take your money and not send you your stock.

They use a Shopify platform with terrible email templates that has missing links for tracking, and they use a free web chat system that they haven't even bothered to set up.

Absolute shocker, ill get the credit card company to deal with this cluster as I haven't received my item yet - nor will I

Must be the worst service i have ever received for an online order!! Ordered mid December an stated next working day dispatch, nothing then a week later i contact them and all i got was sorry then saying a product was damaged and would not be delivered until first week on January. Nothing again so i chased again, was given a totally different reason why was not dispatched - Took nearly a month to get my order when it should of took 2-3 days. Even after requesting a cancellation and refund i was advised no. NEVER again will i shop at such an unprofessionally run store!! wish you could put minus stars

I ordered a cricket helmet, which never arrived. After calling numerous times with no answer, I tried the chat bot which doesn’t get through to anyone. I persistently called again, finally getting through to a lad who couldn’t give me any information regarding my order. After asking for a refund, I was initially told that I would have to wait, as he was busy. After calling again later that day I was advised to call again the following day, regarding the refund. The next day I was told that I should already have it, which of course I didn’t. My advice would be to look at reviews prior to placing an order. The customer service here or lack of was exceptional.

Shocking customer service , would never order from here again.

Placed an order for next day delivery before Christmas, called up on the day i was meant to receive my order and was told they had sold the last one in stock that day and are waiting for a delivery from the supplier that day and the order would be sent that evening ( my order should of been posted out the previous day ) i still haven't received my order and we are now on 11days. Called up this afternoon to check on my order to be advised my parcel had been returned to the shop due to an incomplete address which was only showing the postcode and my name . After asking if they could post this out to me again so i can receive it the next day i was told they would have to charge me an additional postage fee . (Shocked is an understatement) . I double checked on their website and for an order to go through you have to enter in your street address and house number so there must of been a fault with their system . ( i know for certain i checked my address before clicking proceed and their system wouldn't of allowed me to proceed without a street address on). I have quite a large circle of sporting friends and will be advising everyone to stay clear of this shop ! i shall wait to see how long my refund takes to come through!!

I ordered a set of cricket trousers for my son. Next day delivery at £6.99 - ordered them Monday 13th arrived Saturday 18th! Wrong item was sent I ordered black and received ivory… not sure how something can go so wrong.. Email sent with no response…
