BUYER BEWARE If you are signing up for Trifecta Pass it has an expiration and it is only good for the country you bought it in. Spartan Canada's terrible customer service would not credit me after I found out that I bought a pass, but didn't realize I was on the ca.spartan site. I essentially gave them $300 for free, because I live in the states and could not make it to any canadian events. Who knew that Spartan is set up by country/ cost centers... I didn't. Just becareful and make sure you are on the right website, beacuse if you make a mistake they will pocket your money. I hope they use my money to better let people know what website they are on, but they apparently make money off your mistakes... so beware.

AVOID! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. USE ANOTHER COMPANY. SHOCKING LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Before writing this review - please note, my friend and I tried and tried for a number of weeks, to get the assistance and help we needed, regarding a simple problem. Alas….
Like the majority, as there’s no option to give less than one star, I’m forced to award one star which is way more than their ‘customer service’ department deserve. Arbie and Eric didn’t answer any of our questions and somehow missed the point??…
Grossly disappointed, deeply let down - do they care? Do they…!
It seems I’m extremely lucky to even be getting a response. Someone was obviously bored.
I’ve used them for a number of years with no issues and that’s the problem - when you have an issue, they do NOT want to know and refuse to be helpful. I find this so bewildering.
Sadly will NEVER book again. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Volevo semplicemente dire che nel mio caso non è servito a nulla ma, leggendo le recensioni degli altri utenti, ho deciso il titolo: sono dei truffatori. Addirittura ne ho preso 3 confezioni, effetto zero. STATE ALLA LARGA DA QUESTA GENTE.

I had to cancel a race due to a family emergency. I even paid the extra insurance fee to be able to cancel for a full refund. They sent me to some scam company called "Refund.me". I filled out the application and then nothing.... Not a word from them after a week so far. I contacted Spartan and they said it was out of their hands. The crazy part is I paid the insurance fee to cancel to Spartan. But then the refund has nothing to do with them apparently. So now they have my money for the cost of the ticket AND the insurance fee. But somehow it's not their responsibility to issue me the refund. It's nothing short of theft and I hope there is a class action lawsuit soon.

Where to start....

Organized a ~30 person team run for the Fenway Stadion. Had many questions, almost none answered. No chat/live support agents; only email messages. Paid for tickets and Spartan Tabs for everyone but was never given an option to customize the tabs (which they advertise you can do). Sent a couple emails about it over the several months leading to the event about tabs but did not get a response. We'll see what happens, I asked to have the ability to customize them or cancel them. Guessing we'll all get the generic, "I earned this, Arooo", or whatever they put in.

When trying to sub a runner, for some reason they charge $36 to transfer a ticket from one person to another. First, that's blatantly a fee for the sake of having a fee. Second, when I emailed them about waiving it for extenuating circumstances (injured runner), they did reply and make an effort to waive it, which I appreciate however, they instead canceled the ticket and gave a "coupon" for the cost of the ticket. Trying to use that code for a sub now meant the sub would have to pay more for the ticket than we had to for transferring it in the first place since the tickets are now >$70 more than they were when we first purchased them. So, instead of reducing the fee for my sub as I asked, they (unintentionally?) increased it from $36 to ~$84. There's still a few days to fix this before the race date, but I'm not holding my breath for help from Spartan.com.

Shame that such a fun organization failed me and my team so much. Really hope they realize that customer service, even at the bare minimum, should be a priority for them.

Absolutely appalled at the Spartan's Customer Service. Will never use them again. There are other races!!
I was registered for the Spartan Kelowna with cancellation insurance. Due to the Kelowna fires in August, the event was cancelled. I have been trying to get a refund for the race and have been bounced back and forth between departments more than 4 times. Nobody to call or speak with and not refunding me. I have litterally begged (by email) for a call from management but nothing, I have used the chat system, again nothing. As a returning competitor, I have to say how disappointed I am in their management. They were very efficient to take my money but impossible to get a justified and insured refund.

Dopo un mese in cui ho ingurgitato la mattina questa bevanda magica preparata con la polverina che mi hanno spedito, nonostante le promesse di aumento della voglia di fare ed energia nulla è cambiato in me! Non ho chiesto il rimborso dei 68 euro spesi perchè non avevo voglia di perdere altro tempo. Non fatevi abbindolare, non funziona!

Race was ok. The organisers are an absolute shambles. I must have sent 20 (& counting) messages ALL of which have been ignored.

I can’t access any race pics at all and not a single human being from spartan will help in any way shape or form.

Would NEVER deal with these people again and I’ll be blasting them over the internet as much as I can.

Io lo faccio. E ora di finirla di queste truffe che rovinano anche il mercato di gente onesta.

This company is greedy and their practices are unethical/immoral at the least and borderline on theft at best. I purchased 3 races so that I could compete in a Spartan Trifecta with a couple of friends back in June. However a couple months before the race I sustained an injury to my head that I am still dealing with currently and it made it impossible for me to race. I reached out to Spartan and the only thing they are offering to do is give me transfer codes that I can use in another race in the future. I have only a few months to decide on a race and I am not sure if I will be medically cleared to race any time soon. I spent close to $400 initially and to transfer each race is going to cost me close to another $200 total. I could understand if I was trying to cancel at the last minute but I started this process with them within plenty of time that I should have been refunded with no issues. I am beyond frustrated at this point and do not see myself racing with them anytime soon.

Leider eine Betrügerfirma. Der Start der aufrgrund der Pandemie nicht in Anspruch genommen werden konnte, wurde nicht erstattet, obwohl das seit 01.01.2023 möglich ist. Vom Onlinesupport wird man auf den Postweg verwiesen. Der eingeschriebene Brief nach Vaduz wurde jedoch nicht angenommen und kam mit diesem Vermerk wieder retour.

Habe das ganze Thema nun einem Rechtsanwalt übergeben weil mir das zu mühsam ist.

Kann nur von dieser Firma abraten. Lasst euch nicht abzocken.

Non andate... Io ho acquistato 2 biglietti per 2 giorni (10k e 5k)..per un infortunio non ho potuto competere, e il rimborso è stato fatto in voucher per 2 SPARTAN (a me andava benissimo) però con circa 20€in meno a gara... Non le farò più....

Course annulée et repoussée à plusieurs reprises durant la crise sanitaire Covid-19.
Spartan Race a refusé le remboursement des courses pourtant payées en intégralité par ses Clients. Spartan Race a imposé à ses Clients de repayer les frais de participation aux courses reportées. Je n'ai, pour ma part, jamais reçu le bon qui m'aurait permis de reporter ma participation.
Le Covid-19 a eu bon dos ! A ce niveau là, c'est de l'escroquerie pure et simple.

It’s the worst race organiser I ever came across a bunch of useless organisers and communication is even worse.
Never ever again register for any of their races still waiting for a refund after nearly 2 years of the initial racedate.
Highly recommend to avoid this company or whatever you wanna call it!

Spartan Race is about making money - and just that. Booking fees, extra charge, no option to change a ticket, no answer to questions...

My first and last Spartan Race. Don't support it.

My race format had to change because of record snow levels that covered part of the original course, which I totally understand—nothing Spartan can do about that. But I requested a refund because the new race was completely different from what I signed up for. It took a follow-up after multiple days had gone by for them to tell me they don't refund, even though the event I paid had totally changed. The only solution they offered was to change my registration for a fee of almost $40. They seriously wouldn't even waive the transfer fee to a new race when they were only holding the event in name.

This was also not my first Spartan race. I've done a race before an was incredibly underwhelmed by the poor organization, the very uninspired course, and the post-event experience. I highly recommend avoiding these races.
