We had a very negative experience…

We had a very negative experience during our time with Spaces.
Last fall we were given less than a week’s notice that they were closing the Spaces at 287 Park Ave S. and that we had to relocate. This was a huge inconvenience and disruption of our business. We relocated to the Spaces at 401 Park Ave S. which was unkept, basic necessities like paper towels and hand soap weren’t stocked and constantly running out, restrooms and common spaces were dirty, this location had spotty wifi, printer issues, and temperature control issues. We made staff aware of these issues many times and conditions never improved. All of these constant issues became such a disruption to our business that we moved out of this location in less than a year. We do not recommend Spaces or Regus and will not be using their office spaces in the future.

Hi Amanda,
We apologize for any inconvenience you’ve experienced following the closure of your previous Spaces centre. A centre closure can be a frustrating experience for customers and it’s something we try to avoid wherever possible. We understand that you'd have appreciated greater notice. Unfortunately, on this occasion we were unable to provide it, but I will make the relevant enquiries and take steps to prevent the situation from happening again.
We can assure you that the bathrooms and hallways are not unclean. Our cleaning crew works nightly to minimize any disruption to customers. Additionally, we have increased the stocking of essentials in both the bathrooms and kitchens, which took effect this month. There will no longer be a shortage of paper and soap in these areas.
There was a known issue with the software on the HP Printers which meant printing could only be done with a USB stick. This issue was resolved some time ago and customers could print for free during the period of difficulty.
In the past, we experienced some inconsistency with the Wi-Fi due to increased occupancy. However, we had technicians address the issue earlier this year, and it has been functioning perfectly for the last six months so your comment that the “conditions never improved” is inaccurate.

NOTHING functions in this space

NOTHING functions in this space. There are no cleaners, and the bathrooms are constantly unkempt, lacking basic necessities such as hand soap and paper towels. We have to email the reception to remind them of the shortage because no one takes care of it unless you complain. The kitchen is also consistently messy and unhygienic due to the lack of dish soap, hand soap, and paper towels. We've had some packages lost because apparently this particular location has two entrances and they are not always attended. Some delivery couriers would leave the packages at the fright entrance, and the space does not take responsibility for them. The printers are frequently out of order, and the WiFi is unreliable. The HVAC situation is also very unpredictable. One day the space is freezing and the next day it is boiling. Despite numerous emails to the management, no improvements have been made.
Someone always answers your emails nicely, but absolutely NOTHING has changed. No concrete actions have been taken to address these issues for months and months, so how nice is that really. After months of complaints, there are still no cleaners, the bathrooms are still filthy, the printers are still broken. Huge garbage bags pile up daily with collection only happening once a week. We used to see piles and piles of garbage sitting in the kitchen area for days.
I do not recommend this office to anyone.

I’m very sorry to hear of your disappointment.
We can assure you that the bathrooms are not “unkept”; our cleaning crew works nightly to minimize any disruption to customers. Regarding your post, while we understand your concern, we cannot take responsibility for packages delivered to the wrong location. We have provided instructions to all customers on what to include on their shipment addresses to ensure proper delivery. We would suggest contacting the courier directly to check if you included these instructions and they are followed.

As you haven't raised any concerns with us directly, I was surprised to see your online complaint about this.
The airflow from the air conditioner is inconsistent, and we currently lack a centralized system to control temperatures across different areas of the floor. For temperature modification, we contacted an external company, and changes will be made soon but we are actively seeking solutions to enhance comfort for all our customers in this area.
