Sololearn Omdömen 

It appears that SoloLearn is in violation of the Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act (ROSCA) (15 U.S.C. §§ 8401-8405), which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

I was offered a free trial in the app, but when I accepted, I was instead immediately charged $76.60, without any warning, and without my consent.

ROSCA prohibits post-transaction third-party sellers from charging a consumer’s account without clear disclosure of all material terms and obtaining express informed consent.

In my case, I did not provide express informed consent for a charge of $76.60 USD. SoloLearn offered a free trial but did not disclose that:
• My account would be charged immediately upon accepting the free trial.
• An account that previously used a free trial (no matter how many years ago) would be ineligible, leading to automatic charges without warning.

I have contacted both SoloLearn and Apple Support, but neither resolved the issue. SoloLearn’s response indicates their reliance on Apple for refunds but does not address the lack of adequate disclosure required under ROSCA. Apple Support did not provide a reason for their inability to process a refund.

I have now filed an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for further investigation.

Timeline:
•Illegal transaction date: Nov. 6, 2024
• Apple refund denials: Nov. 7 and Nov. 8, 2024
• SoloLearn response: Nov. 15, 2024

I love this app for learning to code on the fly (on your phone) or at home (on your computer, web version) on a daily basis. I've gotten most of the certificates for basic coding, now I will be moving onto intermediate levels!

The app is super cool but what impressed me was the support! Fast and accurate solving of an account issue with my pro account. Perfect communicationm with the support team. I can recommend without any restrictions!

Franchement, c'est pour le moment le meilleur outil que j'ai pu trouver pour apprendre depuis zéro. Sololearn mélange leçons et pratique, ce qui est très utile pour mieux apprendre. L'application est disponible en français, mais je conseille de l'utiliser autant que possible en anglais. Disponible sur le web et mobile, c'est plutôt pratique. Le point à améliorer serait de créer des fiches de révision à chaque étape, permettant de retrouver l'essentiel d'un chapitre sans avoir à cliquer sur chaque module et attendre le résumé à la fin.

One of the worst platforms.
The claimed free version forces you nearly in all new AI and machine learning courses to buy pro subscription, in order to be able to finish it and get the certificate.
Additionally, in many courses, they omit data or knowledge required to know the answers apart from those who bought the pro version, so free users lose hearts and are forced to stop or buy pro.
My advise:
Check other apps!

I have been using this app for years on my mobile phone . This app is an amazing platform for learning new programming language as well as for making school or college assignments .
Moreover , this app helps to improve your knowledge by means of quizzes , challenges and code coaches . Really satisfied with the service of this app for mobile (android) version

Does not work 6 out of 10 times on a desktop browser(firefox and chrome)

Courses crash mid way.
Some times the question is bugged.
I cancelled my subscription after 1 week im going to switch to code academy.

This platform had alot of potential if not for the frustrating bugs and glitches both on the mobile app and their website.

I tested it on 3 different devices 2 desktops and one samsung galaxy s23 ultra

The content is ok and useful, but the customer service is pretty poor. I paid for the service for work matters for a few months and then I no longer required it, so forgot about it. The day the subscription renewed I immediately contacted them to cancel and asked for a refund and was told there was nothing they could offer me. Yes I know it's in the T&Cs but usually other platforms I have used in the past are lenient and understand it's an honest mistake. These people just pocketed 65 quid and left me high and dry.

Bought pro plan last year and i was double charged (year and monthly plan).
They didn't wanted to refund for year plan and one month subscription) .
My year Pro plan is active untill September but since Monday I can't access to Pro resources.
Three days since I requested help I am waiting for reply from support and still nothing.
Second - Courses are pretty basic

My name is Samuel. I got to know Sololearn through one of my student.

Am passionate about learning programming, Python in particular. After registering with Sololearn, I discovered that programming was far easier than some platforms makes it to look. Every lesson was in a bit size, before the start of the lesson, there is always a review question of the previous lesson to remind you what you did during the previous lesson.

Aside, Python I got to discovered other courses they have. The courses are so self explanatory. Since then, it's been 95 days none stop.

Am happy that I got to know a platform like Sololearn.

SoloLearn helped me with a good start in C++ and Python. Their starters courses are great!
An extra plus would be extra exercises, besides the exercise tests that are already there to help you remember all you've learned.

I love sololearn for learning coding.

When I was looking for ways to learn coding on the go, I was torn with Sololearn or Mimo.. both seem great, but I chose Sololearn. I was not disappointed! I would still recommend anyone wanting to learn tech/coding to watch some video course of some kind as your main and use this app as reinforcement and repetition.. It teaches, but because its a mobile app, they have to limit how in depth they go with topics so its not overwhelming..

I'm currently on a 93 day streak on Sololearn and I'm loving it!! definitely recommend..

If I had any recommendations it would be maybe add Swift..? Even their customer service has been really good. I had a bug on the web version that wouldn't let me work through a course.. I contacted them and they got it fixed quite fast.

This experience was great regarding getting me involved in all domains of coding by intuitive code challenges. Besides all classes were actually concise and step-by-step. Thanks to all creators of this amazing platform.

-> As sololearn team said they will update old course but still Php course need to be update.
-> Fake account, Spammers, Feed post doesn't have rules, improvement needed in report.

I can learn from sololearn as much as I know. I have a little knowledge of programming but I can learn easy from sololearn.
