Well I’ve had my Snoap dispenser nearly a year now & I absolutely love it. It’s taken a bit of time to perfect it but I’ve got there & it’s great. For me the key is only rotate it half way, a little goes a long way. Put it on a dry hand & add just enough hot water & lather up. I was putting too much on & it was clumping up as soon as it got wet, just a fine amount of powder seems to work much better & it lasts longer too.

I've made four orders of Snoap soap products since March this year, not only because their soaps [and grinding/storage kit] are fantastic but also because this is a company that cares about their customers AND the environment.

A family run concern, Lisa, Antony and Alicia are really approachable and so very helpful. Here's two examples:

Just last week I had problems redeeming a £20 product voucher on their website, so Alicia rang me to explain and fix the problem [because it was easier than an email] and offered to take my order by phone. Bless her, she got cut-off 3 times [not her fault, but mine] but she persevered and ensured my order went through to my complete satisfaction.

Prior to that, one soap bar broke in the grinder [an unusual occurrence, but hey, things can happen], preventing me from grinding any more of it. Snoap happily replaced the bar on my next order without a quibble; and they wisely suggested the soap could still be used as a conventional soap bar. They were right and because all their soap bars are hard and very dense [to enable them to be ground] it doesn't go slimy like conventional soap: so no waste there!

Their soap products really have made a big difference to my skin - very rarely do I now have itchy shins since using their soap, and it is incredibly cost effective - OK I realise that my whole-house water softener does help with soap lathering - but the feel and scent of the soaps is amazing, especially the shampoo bars: Lisa's really clever invention of a soap grinder is genius! You just rub a sprinkling of soap grains in your wet hands to create a soft, beautiful lather, which also smells amazing.

I have stopped buying liquid shower (or hand) soap in plastic bottles.
You really can feel the difference on your skin, compared with liquid soap. No more of that for me.

So to summarise, I am 100% committed to Snoap [and the Hicks family], even if I don't need to buy any of their soap for a while, because I've bought nearly all the different types of soap they make! Do yourself a favour and try their wide range of small sample soaps - you won't be disappointed!

Saw this on Dragons’ Den and decided to it. It has been a couple of months and I really like it. No pressure is needed to grate the soap and the powder that dispenses is really fine. Not much is needed for a decent wash. The soaps lather and wash off well.

The dispenser is a bit chunky as many have noted but no more chunky than a liquid dispenser. The soaps are fiddly to load but with a bit of practice it works fine. I have one for handwashing and one for the shower. I mounted the one in the shower away from the shower head. The mounting tape has adhered well, no problems there.

I have a few liquid soap bottles to get through and once they are gone, I’m pretty sure I’ll switch completely to Snoap.

I can't recommend these products enough. I first tried the shampoo of which I really love. For a menopausal women whose hair needed washing near on every day, SNOAP shampoo is so cleansing and I dont even have to use conditioner anymore nor do I now have to wash my hair every day anymore. I love it!
I trust this product so much that I went on to try the animal care shampoo of which I have to say was also amazing. My dog didn't fuss when using it and it gave her a really nice shine and smell. For me, these products are brilliant on not only me but my furbaby too and more importantly, it's kind to our planet!

I bought the Snoap dispenser and soap blocks after seeing it on Dragon's Den. I was an avid purchaser of liquid soaps and didn't realise that they are not so good. This seemed like an interesting alternative. I installed the dispenser in March 2025 next to my kitchen sink (and, yes, still with my single use liquid soap alongside...) I have been using both but gradually shifting to the Snoap dispenser over time. It's very convenient - as much so as liquid soap, and I've noticed that I have gradually reduced my use of liquid soap in favour of Snoap. Despite being a bit on the fence, even after having installed and used it, I am now several months in and pleased to say that I love this as a concept. Plus, having washed my hands hundreds of times, the original bars are STILL GOING! So...
Positives:
+lasts a LONG time - many washes
+really good clean with very little needed
+easy to use and convenient
+LOVELY smelling product
+better for the environment for many reasons
+good to support a non-big-industry business
+lots of options for different aromas

Negatives:
-Feels a little too greasy but washes off well
-Lasts so long that I haven't been able to try the other scents (perhaps that's not a negative !?)

Overall, this is a great product and probably the direction we should be moving in. I've some ideas for how it could be enhanced but I would definitely recommend!

We have SNOAP at home and also use it in our holiday let property. Easy to install and extremely economical. The soaps smell great with Indulgence being our favourite. The guests always comment on SNOAP as something they have enjoyed on their visit.

I was first introduced to your product through YouTube videos featuring Dragons' Den, and I was particularly intrigued by the presentation of Snoap. I found myself quite impressed by your pitch and the innovative concept. As a result, I recently made my first purchase a few days ago. I have already installed one unit in the bathroom, awaiting the 24-hour setting period, and another in the kitchen, also awaiting the 24-hour setting period. Consequently, one will be situated in the kitchen, and the other will be placed in the bathroom upon its arrival. Furthermore, I have just placed an order for another unit. The Lavender and Geranium scent is truly delightful. My next step is to acquire the other available soaps. Please continue the excellent work. You and your team are truly remarkable. I wish you many years of success, and I anticipate being a long-standing customer.

My parents got this for their house and I had always been a skeptic of it. I fully support the idea of reducing the amount of plastic, we as a society use, but this is not the way to do it. I find that the soap pieces just vanish the second it touches water and don’t clean my hands. I’ve had to bring my own plastic bottle down from the other bathroom to wash my hands properly. Also I find soap causes me to breakdown more on my body and don’t think it’s the way to go for sustainability, perhaps a refillable recycled bottle subscription would do better. Do not recommend.

Great idea but found it didn’t work as well in practice. Used in shower but it would appear that the soap bars absorb moisture and so after 3 days we ended up not with powder but with little lumps of sticky, congealed soap. This sogginess also means you get through a bar of soap way faster than is claimed….so it doesn’t work out cheap either. We so wanted this to work in order to reduce our plastic usage, but it’s back to refillable and reusable 5l bottles for us. If snoop work on a reformulated soap then we’d give it another go, but not at present I’m afraid.

Great Idea, the execution not so much. The sticky bits at the bottom don't adhere well. The whole dispenser is massive and creates so much soap dust that goes everywhere. Kudos to the company for doing good for the environment, I ordered it as soon as I saw them on Dragons Den but it's now an expensive paperweight that is unfortunately out of the returns period.

SNOAP soap and shampoo products are cleansing and hydrating. The SNOAP dispensers are revolutionary and eco-friendly. The service and delivery by the company is top class.

The dispenser doesn't adhere well even using their improved adhesive strip on a very dry wall wiped with rubbing alcohol and left to dry .left 24hrs but they just haven't considered the pressure required to actually use the grinder.
Also very messy especially when a bar of soap is at the end many pieces of soap come out. I have resorted to leaving the dispenser off the holder unless in use. Disappointing

I first saw Snoap on Dragons Den and was hooked! What a brilliant idea! I wanted to buy less plastic bottles and I like using soap but didn’t want a few soap bars hanging around the kitchen and bathroom (I don’t like the idea of sharing a soap) so when I saw Snoap I just had to get it!
I find that you only need a quarter to a half turn to get a good lather. My hands feel soft afterwards and I love the smell of the soap.

Great customer service, quick delivery.

The soap dispenser is very clunky. There’s no need for it to be this big! Turning the knob to grind soap is not smooth at all, and grinding enough to fill the small containers will be a long and painful process. The shaved soap spills everywhere, through a small gap at the bottom of the dispenser. Not being able to use your preferred brand of soap is a major flaw, and cleaning the thing is a hassle.

Then, who even wants to shake soap out of a plastic container in order to wash hands? It’s not practical at all. A better solution would be to just have sturdy, smaller soap grinders in every bathroom or kitchen. That is, if they worked reliably with your preferred soap, without spilling everywhere.

And lastly, this is sold as an original idea, but it absolutely isn’t. I’ve seen it on really old, grubby trains in Eastern Europe and it was implemented much more efficiently, with a small dispenser that worked with any regular soap.

I’m so disappointed by this product, I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it.

I absolutely love my SNOAP system which I have now been using for more than a month. I shall continue to enjoy the fragrances, ease of use and efficiency.

Such great products again from the team at Snoap, it’s like Christmas when we get a delivery from you. The hand written notes are a nice touch. Can’t wait to try all the different Snoap that you do.

Snoap delivers products which fill a gaping hole in the market. Lovely scented eco friendly soap. The ability to use bars of soap without the associated mess and 'sharing' issues. As such as small amount is dispensed each time it is also economical.

I wanted to buy several of these dispensers for our church so asked for a discount: no reply. That's poor considering it would also be good PR for Soap.
Ecologically, I have to weigh up doing away with single-use plastic against using more water. Snoap on my hands means they're too slippery to turn off the tap while I wash them, so need to leave the tap running, wasting water.
S per other reviews, Snoap does make the basin and taps more messy.

My wife and I have been using SNOAP several times every day now for over 6 weeks. The main dispenser is stuck to our bathroom wall tiles using the fittings supplied. We followed the simple instructions and, knowing it is very firmly in place, we’re confident of its durability. We’re also very pleased with the product itself and will definitely be buying more refills……when the ones in the “package deal” eventually run out!

There's never enough soap that comes out. Soap falls off the prongs really easily. Above all, my skin hates the formula (It really makes my hands itchy and dry). I would rather just have a grubby old fashioned soap bar or use a liquid hand wash!

Oh yeah, and both options I said I prefer would actually be much less environmentally wasteful. Because they actually work properly!
