Placed an order (my 2nd order)but was sent an email to say that I had to send proof of ID, which I did. A few days later I had a notification from my bank that the funds were returning (they did after 6 days). But no further communication from SP.
I called SP and spoke to a polite lady but she had no idea why and could not access the information to find out, this is completely useless. I next emailed SP asking why they had cancelled my order after I had sent proof of ID. No reply to that or since! How can I leave anything but a one star review? No problems with other suppliers

"Review the service you received" - what service?
As I have received an email from Sharps Pixley soliciting a review of 'the service you received', I feel compelled to oblige after my utterly dismal experience with my latest order.
On 7th August, I placed an order through the Sharps Pixley website, paid immediately and everything appeared to be going smoothly. I received immediate confirmation of my order by email, stating that I would receive further contact when my order had been dispatched.
Over the weekend, I could see that my order was displaying as 'pending' - this is not an issue, as I do not expect same-day dispatch, although the website does promise this. However, what is an issue is that on Monday, my order disappeared from my order history, so I was confused as to the status of my order; therefore, I emailed Sharps Pixley. I received no response, so toward the end of business hours today, I called Sharps Pixley for an update. Upon providing my order details, I was informed that my order had been cancelled, with no explanation being provided.
If I had received an email to this effect, stating that my order had been cancelled, it might be understandable. However, what I regard as unacceptable is that I received no correspondence to inform me that my order had been cancelled. As stated above, I only ascertained that my order had been cancelled after I called Sharps Pixley to clarify the status of my order, as Sharps Pixley patently didn't have the decency to respond to my email on Monday.
I have still not received an update, nor have I received formal confirmation of the cancellation of my order or processing of a refund.
No company remotely interested in customer service or maintaining business relationships would behave in this way. Sharps Pixley has proven that its customer service and communication is hopeless; consequently, I shall not be conducting any further business with Sharps Pixley after this abject experience, as I already have positive business relationships with more courteous outfits.
Caveat emptor.

Great way to buy Gold. The website was easy to navigate, prices were good, and the click and collect option was a bonus as I was able to collect from the Central London location, where the staff were helpful and friendly and provided a great service. Recommended.

I ended up having to buy another lot. Every thing is delayed. Francis Johnston has written a report. I know you apologised but I am still waiting for the release of my funds. Not good enough.
