Septimus Omdömen 

Beware of this Septimus accountancy firm! All they did was run up costs. For months, our company tried to get Septimus to handle our accounts. We paid hefty advance invoices, but they didn’t do any work in return. In end, we had no choice but to look for another competent bookkeeping firm. What’s unbelievable is that Septimus is now blackmailing our company for a €500 “protection fee” in exchange for handing over our company’s login codes to another accountant. And they haven’t handed over that company code, despite the fact that we paid that “protection money”. They sent the new accountant a sample of the work they’d started. This competent accountant said that nothing could be done with the material provided by Septimus. We’ll have to start all over again. Stay well away from this so-called “accounting firm”!

I was their customer for about a year. The basic tasks went okay. However, for the financial statements, I was billed for over 20 hours of mysterious investigation work. I received no report on what was wrong or how it was fixed. When I refused to pay before getting a summary, they stopped doing my accounting and blocked my access to the accounting system.As a result, my accounting and VAT returns were late, and I couldn't even pay myself my salary. I terminated the contract and tried to transfer Netvisor directly to my company. They haven't signed the transfer, so I cannot do anything.I couldn't reach anyone at Septimus by phone or email. No one even had out-of-office replies turned on. I cannot recommend them under any circumstances.

I hired Septimus Oy together with Arctic Solutions Oy to handle my company’s bookkeeping. Both companies appear to be newly established and are run by relatively inexperienced owners. They presented themselves as partners and both names appeared on the same contract.

Unfortunately, the service quickly turned into a frustrating experience. After just one month, they left the work incomplete, making vague and illogical reasons, and demanded more money to continue. I refused and formally terminated the contract. Although they halted the work, they claim I must pay them for the work they did, although they did not finnish the work and sent me no accounting reports at all!

Despite multiple written requests to stop, they keep sending me new invoices every month and have not responded to any of my follow-up emails.
