Great customer service

Huge difference between online evaluation and in-person offer
Difference between the online evaluation and the offer I was made in person was £1300 - this is roughly 1/3 of the value of the car. Explanation they give - Not enough service history... Clearly an excuse made on no basis (or this may be just protocol). Car was relatively new - 2018. Never failed MOT. I had receipts for new tyres, oil changes etc (x2), however none of the papers I had changed the offer in my favour... Car was always kept on top of it, maintained it all well, so nothing needed to get fixed, therefore, I had not many invoices/receipts. Anyway, they kept shaking their head. To be fair staff member was polite... But you end up with a feeling of being politely ripped off.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. We did, however, purchase your car and increased our offer to try and bridge the gap as much as possible.
We have to take all factors of the car into account when determining a price. This includes its history. While we appreciate that you had receipts for items such as tyres and oil changes and had clearly looked after the car, there was limited documented service history available. Service history is one of the factors we have to consider when assessing a vehicle and its future trade value. It is not necessarily a reflection of whether we believe the vehicle has been well maintained.
We’re pleased that you found the member of staff polite and professional. We certainly would never want a customer to leave feeling that they had been "politely ripped off", and we’re sorry that this was your impression.
Highly recommend
First time in using this company but from the booking of appointment process Tom N couldn’t have been more helpful, his customer service was excellent he went above and beyond very helpful. He also called me where to park/meet on arrival.
Explained the whole process and was very thorough and informative. I would recommend this company again to anyone. Tom N is an asset to this company.
