Alongside my main dentist Richard 👌 seen Andrew recently for a consultation regarding some Botox treatment for Bruxism! Honestly looking forward to be in such good hands. I visit here for my 6 months routine check up. I am never disappointed with the service I receive. I was greeted on reception today by Nichola and what a pleasure she was. My chosen dentist is Dr Shyam Patel whom really does make the experience of a nervous patient a sunny one. He listens to my concerns, gentle and just brilliant at his chosen proffession with the added bonus of very fair pricing. Poppy was my dental nurse today and again a credit to her proffession being kind, caring but efficient. So thank you to Dr Shyam Patel and all who make this such a great place.

I recently completed a dental implant…
I recently completed a dental implant procedure at Scott Arms Dental Practice, and I wanted to share how positive my experience has been. From the very first consultation the dentist was incredibly reassuring. He took the time to explain the entire implant process clearly and patiently, which really helped put me at ease. Dental work can understandably make people anxious, but his calm approach and professionalism made the whole experience feel very well managed and under control. The quality of the workmanship has been excellent. The implant feels comfortable, natural, and the attention to detail throughout the treatment was obvious. Everything was done with great care, and the results speak for themselves. What I particularly appreciated was that the dentist did not push unnecessary treatments. Instead, he gave sensible and honest recommendations about possible work that could be considered further down the line, explaining what would be beneficial and what could reasonably wait. That level of transparency really builds trust. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the outcome and the service I received. If anyone is considering dental implant treatment, I would highly recommend Scott Arms Dental Practice. A very professional, reassuring experience from start to finish.

Had the same filling done here four…
Had the same filling done here four times in six months. They insisted that nothing could be done except a crown at a very high cost. Managed to get an nhs dentist who installed an amalgam filling and presto. All fine. Be careful. They are good in emergencies but I fear they steer you towards unnecessary and more expensive work. Or just offer amalgam fillings again maybe?

High Quality Treatment
I recently visited Scott’s Arms Dental Practice to see Dr Danyal Saghir, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. I had been putting off treatment for a half‑broken tooth because I was feeling anxious and unsure about going to the dentist. As soon as I walked in, the ladies at the front desk were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which immediately helped put me at ease.
Dr Danyal and his assistant were just as reassuring. Their calm, friendly manner made me feel comfortable straight away. After taking X‑rays, Dr Danyal explained clearly that I would need a crown, starting with a temporary one before returning for the permanent crown. Throughout the entire process, he talked me through each step and regularly checked that I was okay, which made a huge difference to my confidence.
I returned on 20th January for the permanent crown, and the appointment was quick and smooth. Once again, Dr Danyal explained what he was doing and how long it would take, which I really appreciated.
Overall, it was a genuinely positive experience, and I only wish I had come to Scott’s Arms years ago. The practice has a lovely atmosphere, it’s well looked after, and every member of staff is polite, caring, and incredibly helpful. I would happily recommend Scott’s Arms Dental Practice to all my family and friends.

I was panicking after breaking a molar…
I was panicking after breaking a molar just before Christmas. I was able to book an urgent appointment online and there were plenty of slots, despite it being Christmas Eve. The dentist was friendly and reassuring, and did a great job fixing my tooth. Very reasonably priced too. My husband previously had a tooth extracted after the local dentist had repeated failed to help, despite him being in agony. Always very happy with the service received.
