As someone who is extremely proactive about my my health, I tend to have many medical situations arise. Navigating new doctors in a new place can be very stressful and often futile at times. In my entire life of having health insurance, I've never received this level of personal attention and care before. Honestly, it's unequaled. Diana Bivol and Ann Windsor are exceptional, attentive, caring, invested and more. I could not be more grateful.

AVOID AT ALL COST! They have appalling customer service and complete disregard for your care. I had to wait three weeks before I had a consultant diagnose my fractured elbow and even then, I had to find a consultant that my friend recommended. Sanitas work with incompetent doctors and even worse customer service team. I had to pay over €3,500 euros for surgery I could have had for free on the public health service had I had it diagnosed immediately. There are plenty of better solutions to Sanitas.

Experience and quality of the medical staff is suburb. Getting an appointment regardless of the service was timely and effortless. Highly recommend.

As soon as I took out health insurance with Sanitas, I knew I was in the best and safest hands. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they really did go above and beyond to make sure I was provided with the best care.

Everybody has their own health concerns and for me it is dermatology. I am fair skin and covered in freckles and moles, I have to be careful in the sun. Thanks to Sanitas I was able to have frequent check ups with different dermatologist before finding my favourite clinic which has been interclinic in La Cala de Mijas. The staff there were amazing and they quickly removed a suspicious mole. The wait for my results was incredibly fast and the service was second to none. I also had a gynaecology check up which came with a ultrasound and blood test. You really do get what you pay for and I would honestly recommend Sanitas to any Expat.

Had I still been living in Spain, I would still be using Sanitas. Taking out health insurance with Sanitas is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I hope to move back to Spain in the future. As soon as I do return, I will register with Sanitas again.
