Rome & Vatican card Omdömen 

Everything is easy.
Not complicated at all.

The experience we had using these passes were extremely terrible.

The first day we arrived in Rome we visited one of the collection points to be told the system is down and they cannot issue the passes to us. The gentleman there advised us that we could walk 30-40 minutes to the next office to collect there instead. In 35oc heat this was not an ideal situation.

The gentleman then advised us that we could come back in a few hours, hopefully the system will be working, so we did.

It took the office 45 minutes to issue the passes and explain how to use them. It was now 16:30 so the whole day was wasted waiting around for the passes.

The second issue I would like to bring to your attention is the poor bus service. We were provided with a bus time table, we would plan our day around this timetable, but to our disappointment the busses would not turn up on time. There were 2 or 3 occasions that we would wait at the bus stops for 30-40 minutes in the heat waiting for a bus, there were also occasions were the bus would not even stop. I understand that the bus may run slightly late due to traffic, but to have to wait 30 - 40 minutes and the bus drive straight pass you in not acceptable.

Due to this we had to change our plans meaning we missed out on visiting most of the attractions.

I am hugely disappointed, from the first day we arrived, it was wasted waiting around for the passes to be issued. From the poor bus service having to wait excessive time in the heat and missing out on visiting most of the attractions.

La tarjeta ha sido todo un acierto. Nos ha ofrecido todo lo que prometía, sin hacer colas ni esperas innecesarias y todo muy bien. La recomiendo para una primera experiencia en la ciudad de Roma.

Todo perfecto. La roma pass perfecta para moverte por roma a tu aire (autobús, metro, tranvía) y la Vatican card perfecta para conocer el Vaticano a fondo. 1000% recomendable

Just note that it's not true that you can skip the line at San Pietro.... I asked directly to police at the entrance and they informed us that there is no more dedicated line for omnia card (the same for other cards)

Muchísimas dificultades para reservar para ir a los eventos que nos interesaban y una atención al público tanto telefónica como personal muy mala con la excepción de la persona que nos atendió en la Carcere Mamertino que hizo un enorme esfuerzo por ayudarnos para conseguir la visita al Coliseo, Foro Romano y Palatino; a la Basílica de San Pedro y Museos Vaticanos.

La Web solamente está en Italiano e Inglés y, para los que no hablamos ni entendemos ninguno de esos idiomas, se nos hace muy complicado entender los pasos para reservar e ver la información. Increíble que no tengan la web también en español cuando es un idioma que hablan mas de 540 millones de personas además de ser el idioma materno del Santo Padre.

Por otra parte comentar que las colas para entrar en los eventos siguen siendo larguísimas a pesar de indicar que con la Omnia multipass no se guardan colas y se entra directamente. Todo mentira.

Aún seguimos estando en peligro por el COVID-19 y considero que deberían vigilar que no se permita la entrada a ningún evento, museo, etc., a tantas personas juntas. La multitud que había cuando visitamos los Museos Vaticanos era tal que creo que la propagación del Covid-19 se favoreció en esa visita: Además comentar que en el caso de que hubiera habido cualquier problema de seguridad estoy seguro de que habría una catastrofe grandísima pues sería practicamente imposible o muy dificil desalojar a tanta gente de conformidad con los protocolos de seguridad de este tipo de situaciones y eventos.

Quisimos visitar la Galería Borghese y fué imposible ya que habría que haber reservado la visita con 10 días de antelación. Esta información no nos fué facilitada cuando adquirimos las tarjetas Ominia por la web bastantes días antes de viajar a Roma.

En definitiva. Nos decepcionaron los servicios de la Omnia y la próxima vez que vayamos a Roma no compraremos esta tarjeta e intentaremos hacer las cosas de otra forma.

This system is too burocratic and time consumpting

Do not book this. You get access to the hop on hop off bus that goes every 45 minutes, after 4 days in Rome we didn't see a yellow bus once.
We tried to book the Vatican through Omnia and we kept getting errors. It didn't offer any skip the queues for the attractions that mattered. (St Peters Basilica). Not worth the money. We ended up having to book guided and audio tours elsewhere. Staff in the office were unfriendly and judgmental when we explained we had to book the Vatican tour separately.

Vatican card Felt scammed - the package mentioned a line cut option for the St Peter Basilica - absolutely untrue everybody must line up and entrance is free.
Rome card - never saw anyone on Rome public transportation use any card/ app system basically using all buses& tram for free. Do not recommend

La tarjeta en si no te da ningún tipo de privilegio. Solo te complica más a la hora de realizar las reservas y no puedes cambiar las fechas. No volveré a cogerlas.

Cuando fuimos a retirar nuestras dos tarjetas (OMNIA y Roma Pass) se nos aseguró que en la visita al Vaticano habría un punto de encuentro en el que se nos facilitaría la entrada sin colas y se resolverían dudas si las hubiere. Al ir al punto de encuentro no había nadie, ni existía tal punto. Fuimos al punto de información de OMNIA y allí se nos dijo que nadie nos acompañaría a ninguna entrada y que fuéramos solos.
Los buses amarillos, el servicio de Open Bus, no tiene vehículos suficientes, y en dos ocasiones estuvimos esperando más de 45 minutos esperando.
La tarjeta Roma Pass funcionó mucho mejor.

The card is a good idea. Disappointed that the hop on hop of bus stops are not signed.
We paid to enter St Peter's basilica only to find it was free when we arrived. The web said free delivery of the card only to find on the next page once you have paid a 25 euros delivery charge.
I would doubt that we have had good value for money out of the card

Fantastic experience.... The Bus is amazing

I spent long Time to pay the 2 euros for the Colysseum, everybody wants to visit it. So it’s better to include the cost in the Pass.

The city guide is basically no use. When I opened it, there are only tours showing the price. I was given the user name and password, but for what? Or I don't know how to use it for free?

The subway and bus from Romepass is convenient.

hay horarios que no estan actualizados. El recorrido del autobus turistico, empieza a las 10hs y no a las 9hs como esta estipulado. Tampoco esta bien la entrada al Santa Sanctorum de la Catedral de San Paulo. En la información dice que esta incluida con la tarjeta, y sin embargo la cobran a 3 euros.

Close to a rip off! Sounds good to have a hop-on hop off bus to visit the town but nobody tells you that the Vatican (the yellow bus) uses only 2 buses. They give you a time table when the bus will arrive but looks like the bus driver does not get that time table. First time we waited about 45 min for a bus, second time close to an hour while we could watch the other lines (green, red) coming and going. The entrance to Vatican Museum with omnia card was working but at the colosseum where we arrived at 9.30 in the morning we were told that we need to make a reservation first for entrance. There was nothing available before 4 pm. Of course, we could pay 35 €, join a guided group and go in straight away. Obviously it was not a problem of having to many people in the colosseum. By the way, the guided tour was very good! If you are in Rom for the first time be aware that many of the interesting places are in walking distance to each other and you will most probably visit not as many museums as you think. For st. peter‘s basilica, pantheon, fontana di trevi or piazza venezia you do not pay entrance fee. My advice - save your money for a beer or coffee at a piazza and don‘t waste it on the omnia card.

Las tarjetas son muy útiles pero tienes que no parar de visitar museos todo el día si las quieres amortizar después de las dos entradas gratuitas.
La atención al cliente es de 10, absolutamente personalizada y detallista, al menos en la delegación que está en la entrada del Vaticano.
