I wanted to cancel my contract.
First they force your to ring up.
then they keep you on hold for ages.
then they tell you to ring back 30 days from the end of the next billing period, rather than just cancelling the subscription there and then, they hope you forget and then you are trapped for another billing period.

Great 24/7 community helpline
We used RC to provide a 24/7 community helpline during Covid. In the 4 years it has operated, it has been absolutely rock-solid and of enormous value to the community.
We were particularly impressed with the voicemail to email text translation feature - this allowed us to quickly examine out-of-hours calls for urgency and personal needs.
The translation quality was very high - there is no doubt that this feature has helped us identify urgent situations for vulnerable people in Ludlow.....
The call routing features allowed us to create a pool of volunteers who could choose the times they were available, so we could provide the cover wee needed and we were able to protect the volunteer phone numbers from disclosure - an important point in a community.
I would have no hesitation is recommending RC to anyone heeding this kind of service.

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless. They charged money from my account for advance payment despite confirming the cancellation. We have been on calls where they have asked to send email and send numerous emails but they don't bother responding and resolving my refund issue. I felt cheated therefore PLZ DONT use this Company again..

Avoid at all costs. Pushy sales reps will mis-sell you!
I set up with RingCentral back in May 2023 - we have had problem after problem with the service. The pushy sales rep based in Manila mis-sold us the service on the promise of the world but failed to deliver very much at all. We were mis-sold and promised several features that the service does not support. The support team in Manila have been awful and are so difficult to deal with. They have changed my account manager 3 times. No one seems to know what they are doing. We have requested to cut the service early as our phones are not working properly - full of issues every day. RingCentral will not fix the issue and they are refusing to let us out of our contract early. We are in the process of terminating the service and unfortunately, we will need to loop in our legal advisors to sort out the mess. very very poor all-round. Avoid at all costs.

Just What We Need
We have used RingCentral for two years and love its flexibility, quality, and reliability of each call. We use it to speak to the US on a daily basis and can do so anywhere where there is 4G or better or in wifi range. We have both US & UK identified numbers, and so can give the impression we are calling from New York or London from our laptop or smartphone
We would not be without it now.

Bad Service, Unhelpful and Unreliable Company
We had 24 months contract with RingCentral but encountered technical issues. We request RingCentral to fix issues but they were unable to even though we continued paying the monthly fee with the hope that they would fix the problem.
We informed RingCentral about ongoing issues with their service to us and gave 30-day notice to request cancellation and informed them that we did not wish to renew after 7th December 2022.
We called RingCentral and they informed us that we were not owing or had outstanding balance on the account. They informed us that they would escalate the issue and get back to us.
After some months, RingCentral sent a bill for early termination fee payment. Since they have been sending bills through their agents to us to make payment. Even though RingCentral had informed us that we had no outstanding payment. And RingCentral has not responded to us.

I have been able to port all of my calls through a custom made switchboard which stops any annoying spam calls getting through but also facilitates organising personal/business/other business calls. Really good service and good control over the system.
