If I could give a minus star rating I would! Husband purchased two suitcases from Rigid. After using one on one trip, it dented so badly, and the wheel fell off. He has been chasing Rigid for nearly 3 months trying to get a refund and to return the item. They ignore his emails. Customer service is non existent. I would highly recommend you avoid this company!!
Two trips, a trashed & dented bag with a missing wheel. Customer service have ignored my repeated requests to "activate" the life time warranty!! Buyer beware!!!
Bag now can't be used!!! I expect more for the money I paid for it!!!

We purchased one of their suitcases as a Christmas gift. On its very first flight, the built-in lock mechanism jammed while still set to the factory code. One side opened, the other would not release at all. We had to force the case open just to access belongings. That is clearly a product fault, not user error — especially for a suitcase sold with a lifetime guarantee.
The issue was first reported on 17 January, with video evidence provided. The company acknowledged the fault and agreed to send a replacement lock. That replacement never arrived. Because of the delays and lack of action, my husband was forced to buy another suitcase just to be able to travel.
Since then, communication has been slow and repetitive. We have had to chase constantly, and instead of clear solutions we receive vague responses about being forwarded to other departments. Most recently, we were told they “can’t guarantee” a timescale for sending a replacement suitcase. There is also no phone number to speak to anyone directly, which makes resolving issues even more frustrating.
A lifetime guarantee sounds reassuring when you buy, but it means very little if a product fails on first use and the company cannot give a clear replacement date or deal with the problem promptly.
Based on our experience, the product quality and the aftersales support have both been extremely disappointing.
I purchased a Rigid Wet/Dry Vac. last night from Home Depot. ALL I wanted to do, was to simply register it online as requested. To do so? They REQUIRE I actually setup an account with them giving them my mobile #, etc. WHHHYYYYY! None of their business. I'm retired and don't mind my landline phone but my mobile is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. JUST wantED to SIMPLY register the purchase which shouldn't take "an act of God" and my "firstborn" info. to do! What a terrible website that is both verbose and "nosy to a fault". Now I'm thinking I made a REAL mistake with the company as well. Won't be buying another of their products, THAT is for sure.
I tried ordering some replacement parts and it's just been one of the most horrific experiences in customer service I've ever had. The phone number they give you at the bottom of your order is not the phone number to call if you're having a problem with your order, even though that's what they tell you to do. After having spent a long time on hold on different calls to find out what was going on with an order I placed through order tree, I basically got told they don't know when they're shipping the parts out even though it's already been 3 weeks. I don't recommend purchasing rigid tools as you will get no support when you need parts.
Really stunning quality cases. I’ve ordered two more in different sizes. All my friends are asking me where I got them. I got next day delivery. I’m buying some for gifts too.

Some one broke in to my cheaply made RIDGIT tool box on the back of my truck took all of my tools. Tried calling the company to explain the situation the secretary pretended to take down never ever sent the email that she told me she was gonna send, so l called the next day to remind of it, then she past me along to a manager he told me after explaining the situation to him he was gonna she what he can do about it if anything then he past me back to the secretary and she was supposed to send a email but she never ever sent that one they just lie, lie, lie! Signed Man w/the junk tool boxes!
18V Caulking Gun stopped working. Called RIGID 4 times with no reponse. Sent emails 3 times with no reply. Finally got thru today and was informed they have no record of my registration and will not honor the LIFETIME replacement warranty. I always register warranty for tools. I can't explain why they have no record. I purchased tool 4 years ago and they limit "non-registered" warranty claims at 3 years. NEVER EVER will purchase another RIGID tool. LIFETIME WARRNTY is BS
I was put on hold for more than an hour trying to ask a simple question. When an operator came on, she did not know the answer and she said she would connect me to another department. 45 minutes later I said, forget it and I hung up. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, if you buy any of their products by mistake that if something goes wrong kiss it goodbye because customer service is not there for you.
I was told may of 2024 that I had a battery that would be replaced by warranty. I have called five times and talk to A. person and they told me my order would be shipped soon after five calls nothing has happened.
Have owned a number of rigid tools over past 10 years. The concept of lifetime warranty replacement was incentive to buy. Now that I need replacement battery, it has been nothing but long wait times over 45 minutes, promised confirmation emails that are never sent/received and frustrating chatbots. This is ridiculous.
RIGID tools boasts an incredible warranty...3 year... actually worthless...each time you call and wait on hold for 45 minutes or more your told you have made the wrong selection...the associate tells you "Call back and select this" this goes on 3-4 cycles until you give up,,, it's call the planned frustration warranty...Marisa was particularly unhelpful and copped an attitude with me... RIDGID should know there is a difference between "offering" and actually providing a warranty... won't buy from Home Depot again until they dump RIDGID... I'll spend

I HAD PURCHASED A DRILL AND CIRCULAR SAW FOR MY CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS. ALL WAS GOOD, UNTIL I BOUGHT A BATTERY. THE BATTERY FRIED MY DRILL...LITERALLY MELTED INTO IT.
THEN I HAD PURCHASED A RIGID BRAD NAILER. THE VERY FIRST DAY IT STARTED MAKING NOISES WHILE TRYING TO PUNCH BRAD NAILS IN TRIM. STILL DOES IT. HOME DEPOT REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK BC I MISPLACED THE RECEIPT. NOW IM OUT $213.00
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN. THEY ARE INADEQUATE, HORRIBLE JUNK!!!!!!
Bought a drill from home base here in the states, works a charm, really respect the lifetime warranty on the drill, no one else did that in the store so you got my sale!
as an engineer i need good tools. rigid are great for the professional tradesman
