Don't EVER install this junk software if u are a company, painfully slow even if running on a a LAN with 10GBE infrastructure - we are on Resilio business and trust me this software is a JOKE. You will spend weeks of your life sorting out crashes and wondering why no matter what u do, it remains painfully slow

The software does what it is supposed to do - sync between machines, and that is all I want it to do - unlike OneDrive which gets in your face!

Grate software help me to work in any place and location and then return to my office and continue

it's great to sync between all platforms. I#l use it to sync between iOS, MacOS and Linux - very cool.

it would be a great thing to change the sync-folder name per each client. also to select which folder's from the initial src should be synced.

My team has been using Resilio Sync Business for over a year, it is an absolute dog t*rd. Every users machine has Resilio crash several times a day, then each time it crashes it spends ages re-inexing, it has been a really painful experience, and grinding my production company to a halt. Now we have to extricate ourselves from this useless software.

Resilio offers a good solution for syncing my personal data across multiple devices. Their bit torrent protocol enhances cooperation between devices to sure the work rather than depending on a centralized device, which reduces risk if a one device fails.

Invoice 00418175. Failed install previously advised to Rosilio. Uninstalled all traces of it, requested $59.99 refund. No Response! But charged to my card!

Easy to use and configure, used with an old Netgear NAS and works perfectly, no worries on the configured folders to backup, works smoothly on all my Android devices

Wanting to sync my Desktop, my Laptop and my Nas, I purchased the Sync Home Pro. For safety, I spent a few days reading the help docs and testing the fuctionality on all three devices by using some test folders & files. After feeling confident that it works I went through syncing my real files (~450Gb) between my 3 devices (one single Folder with Sybfolders) and it worked perfectly. The only problem was an issue on my Nas regarding a lack of notifying watchers but I solved the problem by finding a relevant solution on Resilio Sync User Forum. Resilio Sync seems to be great tool!!! One thing I don't like though, is that the version we download (2.7.3-1381) is quite old (March 2022) !! Why is there no resent update ????

This requires file sharers to install a client on their device which I would normally not recommend for security reasons. I find that the app drains the battery on my device rapidly which has me installing it when I need it, then deinstalling it. Otherwise, for a client-based tool, it seems pretty decent, and I'll continue using it.

Resilio Sync manages to fulfill all my syncing needs and they strike a balance between advanced and user-friendly in a manner that works for me. However one small snag, I can not rename a share without the path also being renamed on Android, while I can freely rename a "share name" on PC. A big plus to not being subscription based.

TL;DR: Great synchronization tool. But I wish there was a REST API to let me pause and continue synchronization programmatically.

I've been using Resilio Sync (Personal license) on my Synology NAS to duplicate over 60 TB of data from one NAS to another NAS as part of a data backup plan.

Before landing on Resilio Sync, I went through tests with Synology's built-in Synology Drive ShareSync, Shared Folder Sync, Snapshot Replication, and Hyper Backup, as well as the free SyncThing. Each of those had issues, including:
- logging that wasn't as transparent as I required (Synology Drive ShareSync, Shared Folder Sync)
- issues accessing/browsing data due to encryption limitations (Snapshot Replication)
- inability to access backup data without a third-party app (HyperBackup)
- backup data corruption (HyperBackup)
- sync failures due to "filename too long" errors due to the way temporary items were created during synchronization (SyncThing)

Resilio Sync has none of those issues, and is relatively problem-free.

One problem I do have with Resilio Sync is that some of the data I want to synchronize shouldn't be transferred while it's being actively modified. So I have to manually pause and resume that synchronization task.

It would be *much* more preferable to have an API I could use to pause and resume synchronization for individual folders programmatically, to coincide with the data modification tasks on the source folder.

Please consider adding a simple REST API for those of us who need programmatic control of synchronization tasks!

I was unable to make this work as I had hoped. I have a home network with Windows, Mac and Linux, with a standalone NAS.

their software works great even in a heavily firewalled environment and the family license seems like a great deal which I think someone like me w/ a single license can upgrade to, thereby networking his whole family (up to 5)
