I moved to Italy, sat the B1 Cittadinanza myself, and found almost nothing in English to prepare with. So I built it. Ready Set Italia is exam prep for English speakers facing the CILS B1 Cittadinanza, B1 Standard, A2 Integrazione, and Patente B, run out of Torino by a former US public school teacher and principal. We are not a language course. Our programs focus on the exams themselves: the structure of every section, real past exam questions, timing, scoring, and strategies for listening, reading, writing, and speaking, all explained in plain English. Many of our students have passed starting with minimal Italian, because knowing exactly what the exam asks of you matters as much as vocabulary. Everything is online and self-paced, accessible through our website and app, so you can prepare from anywhere on your own schedule. Whether you need the B1 Cittadinanza for your citizenship application, the A2 Integrazione for your permesso di soggiorno, the B1 Standard for university or professional registration, or the Patente B theory exam for your Italian driver's license, the goal is the same: walk into the exam room knowing exactly what to expect, with no surprises on test day.

Such an incredible test preparation company! They prepared me extremely well and gave me the confidence I needed for the exam.

Thank you, Levi. Confidence on exam day is exactly what we build the program around, so it means a lot to hear it worked that way for you. Auguri.
After trying multiple platforms to learn Italian over the years I was thrilled to find the Ready Set Italia Exam prep program. Ultimately, I needed a tool to help me pass the B1 Cittadinanza Exam. I needed structure to prepare effectively, and this was the perfect solution. I found this to be a clear in depth resource which covered all four aspects of the exam. I was at a A2 level and had paused my learning for four years. I started this program in January 2026 and worked about 20 hours a week for the mid-April exam. I was fully prepared and knew exactly what to expect walking out of the exam with confidence. I highly recommend this program if you need to pass the B1 level cittadinanza. It is the exact tool to get the job done. My advice: spend the money, your time is valuable. If you fail the exam due to ineffective preparation, it will set you back at least 6-9 months of more study, another exam, and waiting for results. This will get you to a pass mark on the first try.

Thank you for such a thoughtful review, Ann. Coming back after a four-year pause and passing in April is a real achievement, and you clearly put the hours in. Congratulations on the B1 Cittadinanza.
I paid my subscription and because I asked a question on the group I was removed off.
Very BAD customer service put me in a bad situation as I’m writing my exam in a few weeks. No explaining from them just remove me and refund. How bad to not explain to the customer

This review was posted the same day we terminated the enrollment and issued a full refund of 499€, despite our clearly stated no-refund policy. The reviewer has since asked to re-enroll in the program. We declined.
