Did not clean windows well and not at all thorough: a lot of money for a 10 minute clean. We've cancelled and wouldn't recommend using them.

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless! We’ve used for over a year! Sometimes they just don’t turn up! The last excuse “we ran out of water” lol
They also don’t do a good job when they manage to turn up! In & out 10 mins!!!

Hi Paul, we use pure, filtered water which is held in a tank in the vans. This means that a cleaner may run out of water on a particularly busy day, but we would then ensure those customers not attended are added to a worksheet for the next day. We also contact them to let them know. We use the reach and wash system with extendable poles, as this is designed to be quick but efficient with excellent results.
Screwing the customer?
I signed up for a clean every six weeks. I received a text yesterday saying they were coming today - only 4 weeks after the previous clean. I don't know how long this has been going on, but am glad I realised. Apparently they are doing this to other customers too. A way of getting more money out of the customer?

Hi Janet. We do work hard to be as close as we can to the 6 weekly or 12 weekly schedule, but certain factors can speed us up or slow us down on a daily basis. We would expect our customers to have either 8 or 4 cleans from Jan to Dec. If our customers find they have had additional cleans, we ask that they let us know so we can add credit to the account to ensure they are not charged. We would not put these additional charges on to our customers.

Very Disappointed
We have tolerated Pryor’s Window Cleaning for a few months. Yesterday we got a text at 7PM and still dark their Contractor turned up in the dark at 7 AM and proceeded to clean, even breaking into the rear of house by reaching over our latched side gate. No courtesy or empathy. Very limited service with surrounds excluded unless you pay a King’s Random

We were canvassed by a door knocker. He advised we would just need to have 3 cleans a year. Every 6 weeks I had a text message to say they would be cleaning our windows tomorrow. So, I cancelled every other clean as 6 weeks for me is excessive. I have now had my 3 cleans so assumed all is well. Then I get a snotty voicemail saying that as I seem to cancel a lot, they would have to charge me £51.00 a pop!!! Absolutely awful customer service. Expensive and rude. I would not recommend.

Hi Pamela, it sounds like you were given incorrect information by the sales associate. They were from a third party company working for us at the time, but this is not the case now. When our customers sign up with us, we do ask for three cleans initially but these would be consistent, and not on an ad hoc basis. Our prices reflect the regular service, but if you wanted less cleans throughout the year the price would need to be adjusted due to the bigger build up of dirt between visits

They managed to ‘clean’ a 4 bed detached house with a conservatory and patio doors in 15 minutes.

No commination
They did not inform me that they are charging a fixed rate even if you only get your front windows cleaned, they charged me £19 pound for two windows usually this is half the price.
Very upset they didn't inform me and they still haven't refunded me my money. I have been using this company for about 4 years and have no problems up until last month very disappointed. I will not use this company anymore, the lady who i spoke to was not helpful over the phone made me feel it was my falt very bad customer service .Still not received my money so will be now taking this further.

Very disappointed!…
They canvassed my neighbour hood and my wife gave them her email address for further information and took the business card so that I could ring them if we were interested. Turned up anyway this morning , 19th September and I met the worker. I figured that I would see how they did on a one off basis for £30 for a semi detached house.
Hopeless! The worker just sprayed water and rubbed a bit with a sponge. Several windows were left with clear dirt marks. One window at the rear of the house was ignored and with no explanation as to why!
I rang them to pay and inform them clearly that this was a one off and I was not interested in the service. The operator then stated that we had signed up for the service very 6 weeks and that by giving an email address to the canvasser my wife had signed up! This sounds remarkably like ' inertial selling' - which is not allowed in the U.K. The operator was reluctant to cancel the so called service but eventually she relented, but I had to persist.
I cannot recommend this firm. Avoid!
