Protyre Autocare - Isle of Wight Omdömen 

I booked an MOT online for 4:45 PM today at Isle of Wight branch. The booking system accepted my appointment and took my money without any issue. I arrived 20 minutes early, only to be told there was a "system fault" causing a double booking and that my slot had been given to someone else.
What made this experience truly unacceptable was not just the error itself, but the complete lack of effort to resolve it:
They claimed to have called me — once. The phone rang a couple of times and was never answered. I called back approximately 10 times. Not a single call was answered.
No text message, no email, no second attempt to contact me — nothing.
I drove 24 miles in total for an appointment that should never have been confirmed without availability.
My money was taken by their system despite the slot not being available.
When I raised my concerns, the receptionist was rude, dismissive, and arrogant, offering nothing but "we tried to call you" — as if one unanswered call absolves them of all responsibility.
This is not a minor inconvenience. This is a failure of their booking system, their communication, their customer service, and their basic professional conduct. I would strongly advise anyone on the Isle of Wight to avoid ProTyre and take their vehicle — and their money — elsewhere.

The men are always polite and efficient.

Great service and very fast fitting of the tyres. Will go back for more tyres in the near future. It was very easy to order the tyres online and select the make I wanted.

Went to protyre like I always do as value for tyres is great but on this occasion I was thoroughly disappointed with the service, when I collected my van the man on the desk gave me the key and said we have done the tyres but were unable to track it as it was too low, I asked the bloke why this was as they did it 6 months ago when I last purchased a tyre he just said it was too low, I said well it’s no lower than 6 months ago so I said have you changed your ramps and the man said no, so left very dissatisfied thinking either I had been charged for tracking last time and wasn’t done or couldn’t be bothered to this time, went straight to a garage across the retail park which took it straight in and done it while I waited as didn’t want to drive it without tracking as bought premium tyres.

Protyre as always were helpful and efficient in conducting an MOT and later repairing a tyre.

It was an emergency for me as my tyre repair system didn’t work and as there was no spare tyre.

I phoned after the AA had put a Tempory plug in the tyre to get me home and they fitted me in straight away😎

Air con regassed at protyre, and last year both cars had all new tyres, and we are very pleased with the speed and service we always receive here.

This review is following a ‘not so positive review’ I left when my car was booked in for work involving Air Con Gas.
Protyre ‘made this right’ I was listened to, they responded immediately and respectfully, that alone to me is a ‘Quality Service’ as ‘I was acknowledged’
They were welcoming, informative, the work was carried out in a timely manner and at a very affordable price. I honestly didn’t think the majority of businesses respond to these types of situations but Protyre have.
I wasn’t expecting such a complete turnaround to the original experience I had.

Had an issue with my car, took it in and ask if they could have a quick look and advise me. Without hesitation they took a look, found the issue and offered to repair that same day. Really helped me as I really needed the car that weekend. Price was fair especially with the timing of same day repair.
