Our journey began 8 years ago in Birmingham, with a single container, a brave man, a Sprinter van, and a dispatcher fueled by enthusiasm and a dream. Through hard work and unwavering determination, that dream gradually transformed into reality. Today, we operate from a massive warehouse and office, employing 160 dedicated staff members and utilizing over 60 vans to serve customers daily.

We specialize in courier services, focusing primarily on furniture transportation, including wardrobes, chairs, sofas, desks, tables, and sideboards. Additionally, our expert couriers are trained to handle motorcycles, pianos, and sports equipment. Proovia proudly serves local shops, auction houses, and residents, collecting and delivering items all across the UK.

Love these guys

Love these guys, quick and efficient, everything can be booked online, and they have always turned up on time and handled awkward deliveries efficiently and expertly.

second distasteful experience, never again

This is the second distasteful experience with Proovia. This time around I was having a wardrobe delivered and the seller was sending via Proovia. I was informed they could bring it to any room in the house (as bedroom is upstairs). The delivery men turned up and asked where they should leave it, I asked if upstairs was ok and they were visibly not happy but proceeded bringing the pieces upstairs. I kept thanking them as they took the pieces up. Upon finishing one of the men was very rude and angrily said you know this is an extra £100 to bring upstairs, it's not included. I said I wasn't aware, he should have stated so before bringing the pieces up and that I was told the delivery included upstairs. He just ignored me and left through the front door. It was an uncomfortable and intimidating interaction and high inappropriate. This is also on the back of me being alone in the house accepting the delivery because Proovia cancelled the original delivery date (the day before) when my partner had arranged to be home. I doubt this carry on would have happened with him there. Very disappointing and will not let any Proovia workers delivery anywhere near my home again.

We are particularly concerned by your comments regarding the conduct of the delivery crew and the request for an additional £100 after the items had already been carried to the first floor.

According to our standard service, carrying items to the first floor is included. If there is ever any uncertainty regarding the scope of a delivery or any additional services, the delivery crew must contact the office so the matter can be clarified before requesting any payment from the customer.

Your feedback has been referred to our Quality Assurance team, and the matter will be fully reviewed with the delivery crew. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the rescheduled delivery.

Great service by professional, friendly couriers

I had a very large bookcase delivered by Gurpreet Singh and a colleague. They were so efficient, friendly and helpful, I was impressed. I received texts letting me know delivery date and allowing me to confirm times with them. They called ten minutes before arriving to let me know they were almost here. They carried a VERY heavy bookcase into the house and were willing to put it wherever I wanted. I couldn't have asked for better service. I was especially happy as delivery was from England to the north east of Scotland - which is not always easy to get.
