Pleasance & Harper began as a small business in 1879, trading from premises in Wine Street, Bristol. The company as it is now came in to being in 1919 when the original Mr Harper’s three sons came into the business and expanded the company opening shops throughout Wales, the Midlands and the West Country. Over the years the business was consolidated with the sale of a number of the shops. The recession of the 1990’s saw the business reduced to one store – Hereford – but the standing and reputation of this shop enabled the company to ride the recession and establish itself once more. In 1997 Mark, the fourth generation of Harpers brought new life to the business when he joined his father in the trade. After the death of first his Uncle Michael, then his father Anthony, Mark took over as chairman. He continues to uphold the principles set by his great grandfather at the beginning – the importance of family values. Following the opening of a second shop in 2010 Pleasance & Harper now offer an exciting and wide range of traditional and modern jewellery, timepieces and giftware, including brands such as Omega, Tag Heuer and Links of London. Alongside this they offer jewellery and watch repairs and an expert valuation service.

Delighted with service and the Omega watch
I made my purchase online as I knew the special watch I wanted. I was impressed by the communication and confirmation of the order and it's secure delivery in just over 24 hours. The watch, packaging and documentation was everything that I expected and is superb. I did not send my wrist measurement, but if you do, Pleasance and Harper will adjust the size before sending your purchase on to you. I'm sure I will be a customer again. I would recommend to others.

Great prices - Great service
I recently found Pleasance & Harper online whilst looking for an Omega Sailing Bracelet - they had a few in stock and I was caught between two option but eventually took the plunge and bought one.
The ordering process was quick, simple and secure and the item was delivered within 24-hours by Royal Mail Special Delivery included in the price.
My bracelet came brand new, fully boxed with all the Omega tags attached and the warranty card filled in.
I thought again about a second bracelet but was a bit unsure about the colour so phoned up the store and spoke with their Online Sales Manager who gave a very honest description and said that if I didn’t like it returns were not a problem.
When it arrived it too was perfect and just as described so I really can’t fault their service in any way either online or by phone conversation.

Tissot Marquez watch
I’ve been looking at this Ltd edition watch for some time and planned to buy it tax free in Barcelona however the only one available was on display, also claiming tax back seemed problematic… so on my return to UK I purchased the watch online cheaper than in Spain. It came complete with all paperwork/ box and crash helmet display case. Delivered free and all packed carefully. Very very pleased with my purchase.
