Pizza Express Omdömen 

I went in the Salisbury branch today. It was raining heavily outside, I was with my 5 months old baby and didn’t want to soak outside in the cold while waiting for our bus which was delayed for 30mins. Thought I would have a quick tea or coffee and quickly breastfeed my baby as well who was already exhausted of the day. A young lady “welcomed” us at the entrance, looking very disorganised and bored. When I told her the above situation and that I would only need a quick hot drink she said she needed to check IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE AT ALL, went to the back of the restaurant then a minute later came back and refused giving me and my baby a table saying that all tables were booked! I asked her if really all tables were booked for the next 20 mins while I get some rest and a drink (the place was almost empty) and then she became a bit hesitant and confused. She obviously had zero experience in hospitality and was lacking any common sense not to refuse a breastfeeding mum with a baby. I could have spoken with the manager and make a scene there but in all honesty the last thing I wanted after this incident was spending my money there and getting served by this child with such an inappropriate behaviour. I have only been a few times in pizza express before but today was definitely my last visit there. Shame on them!

Kids pizzas were ordered with vegen cheese as they have an intolerance but the pizzas came with normal cheese meaning the kids couldn't eat them. No refund or reply from pizza express not happy.

Booked a table for two for 5pm on Saturday 20 July.
My friend snd I turned up, were seated and told by the waiter that he was on his own and it would be a while. The poor waiter continued seating others who had either booked a table or walked in, no doubt worried about losing business. The restaurant was getting busier and busier. Ten minutes we were still waiting for at least our drinks order to be taken.
How could this happen? The poor waiter was run ragged. It was a Saturday afternoon, the Olympic stadium had thousands of visitors for the athletics but nevertheless it was a Saturday afternoon, probably the busiest on any given week!
We left after we saw a family of five who arrived some time before us, make their excuses and leave.
Shocking treatment of staff and a very poor way to run a business. Perhaps next time pay your staff more respect and make sure they are supported with reliable co workers who show up or cut your losses (which I am sure you can do) and close for the afternoon!

Pizza Express Summertown- Oxford. Horrible food, it’s a joke. Everything is frozen. There were four chefs in the kitchen, why can’t make it from scratch?? Don’t waste your money.

Tried the too good to go surprise bag and received three dough balls and a couple of slices of squashed up slithers of cake. Thought the idea was to help with food disposable not rob folk a fiver for measly food.

Eine Family-Pizza mit Hühnchen bestellt, dazu einen Griechischen Salat. Lieferzeitangabe: ca. 50 Minuten
Nach über einer Stunde war noch nichts da. Also angerufen. „In 2-3 Minuten kommt der Mann“ als Antwort bekommen. Dann hat es nochmal eine halbe Stunde gedauert, bis es an der Tür geklingelt hat.
32,50 EUR plus 2,50 Trinkgeld für den Fahrer bezahlt. Pizza-Karton geöffnet und einen Schock bekommen. Da soll eine Pizza sein? Das Ding hatte alles andere als eine Pizzateig-Boden, der ja bekanntlich aus Hefeteig besteht. Es war ein knochentrockener, ca. 3mm hoher Boden aus irgend einem undefinierbaren Fertigteig. Fertigteig darum, weil über die gesamte Fläche der Teig auch keinen Bruchteil von einem Millimeter höher oder flacher war! Der Belag war ausgetrocknet, als ob das Ding schon 2 Tage herum steht. Das Hühnenfleisch trocken und hart. Die Stücke konnte man an einer Ecke festhalten und das Stück bog sich keinen Millimeter durch, war hart zum an die Wand nageln. Wir waren echt schockiert, so etwas haben wir noch nie gesehen, geschweige denn zum essen vorgesetzt bekommen und dafür dann auch noch 24,50 EUR bezahlt. Wir haben Fotos dieser Mumie gemacht, leider kann man die hier nicht hochladen.
Die telefonische Reklamation ergab nur pampige Antworten. Das wäre gut so, allen Kunden schmeckt es und wir wären die ersten, die Kritik üben.
Der Bitte, dass Pizza Express Aalen das Ding wieder abholt (da haben wir noch nicht einmal von Erstattung des Preises gesprochen!!!) kam der Laden natürlich nicht nach.
Da ist jede noch so miese Tiefkühlpizza für 1/10 vom Preis besser! Dieses Objekt hat alles getoppt, was man jemals an miserablem Essen gesehen hat. Leider musste das Ding in den Müll.
Gut hingegen war der Griechische Salat, der war frisch und für 8,00 EUR auch ordentlich zubereitet.
Aber diese sogenannte Pizza war eine absolute Frechheit und der Kundenservice ebenso schlecht!
Das erste und letzte Mal bei diesem Pizzadienst. Kann man absolut NICHT empfehlen!! Geht lieber alternativ zu diesem Pizzadienst in den Supermarkt und kauft eine Tiefkühl-Pizza. Die kostet einen Bruchteil und ist garantiert viel leckerer! Und Ihr müsst Euch keine frechen Antworten anhören!!

Went to Pizza Express Broughton for a birthday treat after a go carting party, welcomed by Neave the waitress and shown to our pre-booked seats set out ready. We were then offered drinks and some time to choose from the menu, various pizzas and pasta dishes were chosen all came in a reasonable time and were all very nice. Neave the waitress asked us if everything was good and checked if we needed anything else.
overall a great experience with the level of service very notable.

The name suggests prompt and effective service, which could not be further from the truth. We had tickets for the nearby Barn Theatre, and booked a table at Pizza Express Oxted and hour before. Having been there for 55 minutes, and had a drink and the dough ball starters, and beginning to compromise the theatre start time, it was confirmed that our ordered pizzas were not even cooking. We cancelled the Pizzas, paid and left, just in time for the theatre event. We were not alone as other diners had also given up and left before finishing their meals.

Went to Pizza Express in Windsor yesterday (11 Feb 2024). Ordered a pizza and after 20 mins of waiting I asked what was going on with my order, they said it should be about 5 mins, asked again after that and was told it was just going into the oven and that it may have been lost. After about 30 good min it was if this saga we decided to leave without any food. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.

Went to the Pizza Express in Brent Cross Shopping Centre. We were served by Tamika who was great throughout the meal. Friendly, efficient and all done with a sense of humour.
Have visited this branch before and all the staff we have dealt with have been great.

Pizza Express 363 Fulham Road - really bad experience last night. Only 3 tables occupied (I wonder why?). Nobody greeted us, or served us. We had to continually attract the waiter's attention to get anything. Then they could not get my Club App to work and nor could they get my husband's Tesco vouchers to work. So we ended up paying over £80 for two pizzas and some drinks! The waiter was completely inattentive, not asking if we wanted coffee or pudding. Will NOT be visiting again.

Haymarket. Vegan Giardiniera With tomato, mozzarella, onions, artichokes, olives etc tasted of absolutely nothing. How do they do it? There was even slight evidence of a minute piece of green - maybe a herb. No taste. Appalled.

Love pizza express you can never go wrong with the pizzas in here. My husband and I shared a Romano pizza, mixed salad and hot honey dough balls for just over £30

Our waitress was called kaitlan, we had never been before ,but kaitlan could not do enough for us, everything we asked about the menu she explained in detail ,went above and beyond to serve us, and made our visit extremely pleasant , the food was amazing and can't recommend it enough, well done kaitlan keep up the good work your an asset to the company

Brilliant service, nothing was too much trouble, my friend has a garlic allergy and both the waitress and chef went to great lengths to ensure her meal was completely garlic free.

After a HO mix up where the table for nearly 30 hadn't been booked, the young girl ( pink hair) on her first shift managing the restaurant, happily sorted it out . It didn't phase her or the rest of the team at all.
The orders were quickly taken, the food all came out together- it was hot and delicious.
We were looked after and nothing was too much trouble.
The best experience we've had in their to date ..
All the staff were lovely and polite and a credit to pizza express and the Marlborough branch.
