In reality I rented a unit from pink storage in trafford park before I went travelling for a few months, it had an 8 week deal with a slightly reduced rate. However within 6 weeks I had an email stating there would be an immediate 100%+ increase on the price I was paying from £14.99 - £50 per week, even before the offer period had expired. I was out of the country and had no way of emptying the unit, I emailed them to discuss and the response was "like it or lump it!" essentially they'll get you in and increase the cost excessively above the advertised rates knowing that most people aren't in a position to cancel or move their belongings to a better storage unit provider.

We’re sorry to see this review, particularly as it relates to storage with us approximately two years ago.
We would like to clarify a few points. When you contacted us regarding the price at the time, we replied and specifically offered to review your account to see whether we could offer you a better rate. Unfortunately, we received no response to that offer, so we were unable to take the matter any further.
We also strongly dispute the suggestion that our response was “like it or lump it.” Our email correspondence shows that we actively offered to review the price for you.
Our introductory promotions and subsequent storage charges are set out when customers book, and prices can be reviewed in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. Where a customer is unhappy with their rate, as in this case, we will always try to review the account where possible.
We’re disappointed that the review does not reflect the assistance that was offered to you at the time.

Storage great and vehicle access issue has been rectified.
Recently began using a storage container with Pink Storage. No problem with this however since taking out the rental more containers have been added to the site opposite the original containers. I personally feel they are too close and the gap for allowing cars to pass is very narrow. Basically if one car is at a container another wouldn't be able to pass and would have to reverse out. Basically more width between each side of a bank of containers is required as the site is only going to get busier.

I bought a unit got no details as to what unit it was or how to access I messaged the what’s app on the day to tell them to cancel but they did not reply and they have charged me £120 and £20 a week I can’t cancel as you need a picture of the unit and I have no access or what the unit number is.

We have checked the account and the information we can see does not appear to match what has been described here. In particular, the initial payment does not show as having been successfully received by us, which would explain why no unit number or access details were issued.
If you are seeing charges of £120 and £20 per week on your bank account, we would really like to investigate these for you and establish exactly what has happened.
Please contact our support team directly with a screenshot of the transactions showing the amounts and dates, and we will review this as a priority.
We would never expect you to provide cancellation photographs for a unit that was never allocated or accessed.

No staff you can actually speak to on…
No staff you can actually speak to on site - limited office hours to speak to people based in Wales who apparently can’t communicate something pretty simple to anyone at the local sites.
No cheaper than other places once you add the compulsory insurance etc so aside from cool branding, it is overall poor.

Water bottles in the storage unit on arrival and haribo, nice touch, as very hot weather. Positive thing about pinkstorage is the 24hrs access ability, a bonus. On the negative side, could do with solar lighting on outside of storage units to light the way for that access. Out of 10,so far experiencing a 9. Thanks pinkstorage 😁👍

Easy to register. But difficult to pay as site was overwriting on I phone but worked fine on I pad. Very nice lady phoned to see if I was having problems. Unit was spotlessly clean. Water & sweeties much appreciated. Thank you. No problems at all.
