The quality of the print was exceptional!

I have designed photobooks for 5 of my grandchildren with photos of their first year. I will be making 3 more soon for my other 3 grandchildren who are less than a year old. The web designer is easy to use with a lot of options. I always select the books with the Layflat binding which is a great feature with no curling of the pages in the center. Photobook Canada has always produced quality results for me with durable books. I make use of prepaid offers which provide some deep discounts. Books have always been published and shipped in a reasonably short time.

I had difficulty completing my recent photobook. The support I received from Photobook was outstanding! After several emails and a phone conversation with May, we were able to complete our project. We have made over 20 books with this company and wouldn’t use another.

Very easy designer to use off-line. Books are of high quality & are produced quickly. Have made 25-30 books over the years & very pleased with the products.

I find customer service is terrific. I have been using this company for years and have had nothing but great service.

I have been using Photobook Canada for a number of years and find their service excellent. When I make the books online and run into a problem their helpline is efficient and quick. Their photobooks are excellent quality and delivery service is fast. My last order was Dec. 2023 and, as usual, very pleased with the finished product. Presently working on 6 new photobooks for the grandchildren and looking forward to receiving them.

I use the offline version of the software. That way I can work on it when I don't have internet access

I have used Photobook Canada for several years and every time I am impressed with what a great value it is. I buy the vouchers and have 3 months to complete the photobook. The quality is great and there are many different size/page options. I ALWAYS recommend Photobook Canada to all my friends.

I did a 100 page book for our grandson. It had photos from birth to age 14. This was a late Christmas gift for him. I got photos from my files as well as some from his parents. It made a beautiful picture story for him. I had bought a Photobbook voucher. When I applied it there was extra cost for the better paper. This was not well explained in the ordering documentation. When I questioned about it they explained what I had done wrong when ordering. The replies were very polite and hopefully helpful when I order the next book that I am working on now.

I have been using Photobook Canada for over 10 years and have produced over 15 photobooks. Over that time, I have run into a few issues and the customer support has been nothing short of fantastic! I usually get a reply to my request within 24 hours and they have, on one occasion, really gone the extra mile for me. It is why I keep using their software and producing their quality photobooks.

Photobook Canada provides a great quality product and an affordable price. Customer service is great, never had an issue. I've been using this site for years to make all my albums.

I've used Photobooks Canada services since 2016, averaging about one photobook a year. Their photobooks are consistent in quality, and have relatively quick turnarounds. I also like the discounted bulk options available - it was great to have extra copies of my wedding album to share with the parents. Their customer service is quick to reply and eager to help. In terms of editors, I've used both their web and desktop versions. Although the web version has a better and wider selection of graphics, I personally perfer the desktop version. It gives me more editorial control, longer timeframe to work on my annual photobooks, and I'm able to generate PDF proofs and duplicate the project file for formatting consistency between photobooks.

I make great books every year and i am always glad of the results. The quality of paper and colors is perfect. Whenever you need assistance, they answer you quickly .

I have been purchasing from photobookcanada for years. I do a yearly photobook for a bunch of family and then sometimes smaller projects throughout the years. The quality is amazing and the only time I've had an issue it was fixed immediately. Their software has gotten progressively better each year and it's a quick and fun process to design my projects!

I have edited more than 30 photobooks over the past few years.
Different formats (8×8, 8.5×11, 15×11), bindings (lay flat, perfect bound, flush mount) and several types of paper.
I’ve always used Photobook WW but recently questioned my choice because Costco announced their partnership with Shutterfly.
I recently ordered an identical copy of a book (40 pp, hardcover) from both Photobook WW and Shutterfly.
I received my WW Photobook order 6 days after sending my files: a real performance considering that my photobook is printed in Malaysia !
My order with Shutterfly is still in production AFTER 9 DAYS…
I have contacted Customer Service a few times with no success. I will no doubt eventually receive my order and can’t wait to compare the two finished products.

Continuation of my previous review.

I finally received my photobook from Shutterfly. 10 days of processing and shipping time, all within Canada (production and delivery). However, the Shutterfly site indicates that they are still in the "Creating your order" stage and I never received a tracking number.
I remember that I had ordered the same photobook both from Shiutterfly and from Photobook worldwide. The format is 8.5 X 10 at Photobook and 8 X 10 at Shutterfly.

I engaged in a careful comparison of the two products. My documents include photos, technical drawings and texts. The printing margins have been correctly respected in each case but everything else is obvious, always in favor of Photobook WW.
1- blacks and whites are always more intense
2- the color saturation is much closer to the original photos
3- the printing resolution, both for texts, technical drawings and for photos is much better
4- the range of reproduced colors is much wider

I am not a professional in the field. I'm just a hobbyist appreciating the overall quality but if the photobook I received from Shutterfly is representative of their usual production, I definitely don't recommend them.

The costs (when taking advantage of the coupons) are close but they are slightly higher in the case of Photobook WW, which is normal since the shipment is sent from Malaysia.

I would add that the choice of formats and printing paper is much more important with Photobook WW. I haven't tried their new premium print category yet but the result must be stunning compared to Shutterfly. However, I still have to deplore the fact that Canada sometimes imposes import fees (customs). I was thinking of giving up Photobook WW for Shutterfly, especially since the association with Costco automatically guarantees a 51% discount (note: it cannot be combined with other good discounts) but my current experience leads to maintaining my initial choice : Photobook WW.

One last point that deserves to be underlined: the online editor is also much better and complete than that of Shutterfly. I would like to add that my review is completely independent and that I recently wrote to Photobook WW to complain about the increase in transport and customs costs…

Photobook Canada has a great line of products of excellent quality for a fair price. I have made dozens of photobooks over the years and am currently working on more. They make great travel documents and the support team is very helpful.

Just completed a photobook containing photos from a family vacation. The program is easy to use. Formats and script are easy to adjust and detailed for your own personal display. Delivery of completed books was fast.
