Stair parts

Due to rot we needed to rebuild a large chunk of our stairs, quite a daunting prospect, and we didn't have any luck finding a carpenter to do the work. Eventually we found Pear Stairs who sell stair parts, this made our DIY repair possible. Delivery went smoothly and the parts are all of excellent quality.

Great Service - Expensive Delivery Costs

I used Pear Stairs recently to order some Newel Post caps for our refurbished staircase. Ordering was simple and the product arrived in good time and of excellent quality.
My only gripe was the cost of delivery which at £25 was nearly as expensive as the total sum of the products themselves!

Hi Simon,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that the ordering process was simple and that you were pleased with both the quality of your newel post caps and the speed of delivery.

We also completely understand your point regarding the delivery fee, especially when purchasing smaller items. We have taken your comments on board and passed this feedback along to our management team so we can review our shipping rates for smaller accessory orders in the future.

Thank you again for choosing Pear Stairs, and we hope you enjoy the updated look of your refurbished staircase!

I enquired with this company to have a site visit and happy to pay the £150 for this. 3 weeks with numerous emails trying to arrange a visit so frustrating hence no business from me. Very difficult to deal with do not respond to emails very efficiently.

Svar från Pear Stairs

Hi Jayne,
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologise for the confusion caused during the booking process. Following your initial enquiry, your request was passed to our survey team, and you were contacted within our quoted timeframe of 5–7 working days to arrange your site visit. Unfortunately, the dates offered was not suitable, and we're sorry we weren't able to find an alternative before you decided not to proceed.

We appreciate that the crossed communication from our office caused frustration, and we have reviewed this internally to help prevent it happening again. We wish you all the best with your project.

Many Thanks,
