Poor quality pearls and service

They were very poor in their communication and sent several emails all with different information leading me not understand when the item was coming, they then also made a mistake and the delivery was delayed beyond what they promised me on the phone. When speaking to them directly they were very rude and aggressive using diversionary tactics that it wasn’t their department and need to speak to someone else just wasting my time.

When I did finally receive the pearls, they looked nothing like the ones on the website, they were of a completely different shape and quality and was told this is what I should of expected due to the class/grade – but if that was true why did their website have pictures of completely different pearls??

I would also like to state that I had ordered pearls of the exact same class/grade from another website that were of much better quality and were identical to their website picture.

They then argued with me over their quality and over the returns process, the website very clearly had the wording “Free Returns”, though apparently this means they don’t charge you for returning items – and not that they can be returned for free – something which would be illegal in the UK market in any case.

I would never use them again, they have zero concern over the fact they are misleading from the get go, they purposely mislead on their products/quality by using better pictures on their website than of their actual products, they mislead on free returns – despite it being mentioned multiple times and they couldn’t care less about their 100% customer satisfaction statement.

Bought a Pearl necklace set for my wife for Christmas 2022, the purchase was originally made on 30/10/2022, so in plenty of time for Christmas.
The clasp (what they call a fish hook clasp) broke yesterday 08/03/2023, ABSOLUTE CRAP !!! Just like their customer service, they don't offer a repair service only a 90 day return service.
When you purchase an item in advance you expect good service, how wrong !!!
NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

My first experience was not good, probably because of lack of information and suspicion after reading some of the reviews.I couldnt an track as item hadnt arrived at Post Office plus a few other issues. However, when the Items arrived (eventually) i could not fault them. Perfect, colour size and packaging. I have since bought many items from PearlsOnly and have loved every piece, earrings, necklaces. Take the risk, I dont think you will be disappointed..be patient...

J'ai reçu une bague argent avec vraie perle très belle et je n'ai pas porté souvent. Reçue fin juin et semaine dernière au restaurant la perle est décollée et roulait sur la table. J'ai utilisé chat de pearlsOnly et on me dit qu'il n'y a rien à faire car pas de remboursement après 90 jours et j'ai demandé pour réparer encore NON ils ne font pas réparation. Vraiment déçue je pensais avoir enfin trouvé un bon endroit pour des bijoux avec de vrais perles. Bullshit !!!

This is my second order and I'm still very happy! Beautiful black pearls bracelet at very good price and quick delivery. Comes with the certificate of authenticity and a beautiful bag to store the jewel. I recommend this company to treat yourself or offer a nice gift!

Excellent experience buying with the Australian branch of Pearls Only. Shipping was fast - and the item came beautifully packaged. Will definitely buy again.

Was given a three day delivery guarantee by customer service agent. (Product would be delivered within three days, not shipped.) Order wasn’t delivered until over a week later. No ways to contact DHL, (a notoriously bad shipping company,) and the order was sent out of Beijing. The company claims to be based out of Houston, Texas, but it is actually based out of Beijing. Site doesn’t have any way to contact them when they make mistakes, or a way to leave reviews. Buyer beware.

I have bought jewellery from PearlOnly twice. First I have bought a set of white freshwater pearls and the second time freshwater pearl necklace. I was very satisfied with their service and the quality of the pearls. I received two gift certificates for my purchases, which I wanted to redeem on my next purchase. Unfortenately I didn't know it wasn't possible to use both on the same purchase, so I ask them for help. They kindly helped me by combining both gift certificates and issuing a new one for the total amount.
Because of their quality work and fast response I am planning to make another purchase. I will buy double freshwater pearl necklace in pink as a gift for my daughter. And I am pretty sure she will be very happy with the gift.

I bought two pearl bracelets and they were absolutely stunning (one for each of my sister in laws). They came in their own respective box which was hand wrapped by the company, adding a personal touch to my order. The company offered dyed pearls, but I made sure to purchase the natural coloured pearls, as I like that look best. I received my bracelets in no time, and I was incredibly happy with the results. They each had their own clean cloth, their own zipper pouches and bonus earring sets. The only thing that was missing was a second instruction care card (size of a business card) to go with the second bracelet, but that’s it! 10000% I would buy again from this company.

Also, you can test that they are real pearls by conducting the “tooth test”. One should be able to feel the nacre if they are real pearls. The pearls from PearlsOnly are real !!! And very beautiful :)

These are one of the best people I have ever purchased from, all the goods I have received so far have been exceptional.
I have had necklaces, bracelets, chokers and pendants and they have been an exceptional experience, the packaging is great, my purchases have been of exceptional value.
I could never give pearl's only less than 5 star, but would like to give 10 out of 10.

Purchased a pearl for an earring that fell off. Got my order in the mail, a bit late but that's because Canada Post was severely affected by Covid. Pearl was beautiful, just the right size that I ordered and matched my other earrings. They sent a personalised letter in the package, as well as imperfect pearls for me to compare with. That's going out of their way to make their customers satisfied with their order. The package was so beautifully arranged as well. When I had a question, I got an answering email right away. I couldn't ask for a more professional treatment, though I only purchased one pearl. This is a good company, I'd be purchasing again from them. 5 stars for Pearls Only.

From the start the service was fantastic and attentive to my (many) questions. When my pearl necklace arrived it was everything I hoped for and more. I will definitely use PearlsOnly for my next pearl gift for my wife.

The orders were easy to make and discount codes applied also straight forward.

The website lets you believe they are based in UK but they are really in the USA.I made contact with them as after 6 hours of placing the order I had no order confirmation and the order was not found in the `my orders` part.I used chat after the person I spoke to on the phone spoke very little English,the 2 staff on chat behaved unprofessional and uninterested .I will contact the police here and in US if I do not get refunded in the allocated time

I'm very happy with my purchase of black pearls for my wife's birthday. Really fast delivery and excellent quality! Shipped within 1 day and arrived here in Australia within 3 days. Nicely gift wrapped and they even included a proper certificate of authenticity.

purchased these pearls for my wedding! As a bride on a budget but not wanting to compromise on quality these were perfect! They were price friendly and great quality! I can't wait to wear these on my big day and share them with my daughter on hers.

The products received looked very cheap quality and not worth the price it is marketed. I brought it initially because of the offer but when the items arrived they looked like they are worth less than a tenth of the price. The return and refund procedure looks confusing as well but eventually i got the money back. Not recommended to buy from this company.

I purchased a peacock pearl ring in November 2020. It is not a ring I wear everyday but a few weeks ago the pearl detached itself. I asked their customer care dept. for a replacement or refund as the item is no long fit for purpose but due to their 90 day warranty I am not entitled however they will glue it back for but I have to pay for it! So no I cannot recommend this company or the quality.

After reading the reviews of Peals Only I was abit skeptical of them. But I decided to ignore the reviews and try them out for myself and I am happy that I did press on with my purchase.

Bearing in mind I did order the necklace on the 26th of December so I was expecting abit of delay in dispatching and shipping although I never recieved a confirmation email of purchase. After purchasing the order status was kept on office to office transfer for 8 days which did make me abit nervous as the item I brought said it ships within less than 12 buisness hours and decided to email them and ask them what office to office transfer means and when can I expect my order to be dispatched however they did not get back to me on this at all. They did send a seperate auto update email about my order informing me that my item has been dispatched which was on the 4th Jan and when checking the status of the order on their website the status had also changed to dispatched and I recieved the item on 9th Jan.

On recieving the necklace it was well packaged and came with 2 free gifts of earrings and another necklace which I was able to choose on checkout both are lovely looking peices and have there own small silk pouches to be kept in as well as a large silk pouch for the main necklace. The necklace came in a smooth gorgeous jewellery box with a velvet lining along with a care cleaning card and a very soft cleaning cloth for the pearls, an apprasial certificate and unexpectedly a few other small pearls to show you what the usual majority of how many pearls turn out and how yours compare to the marjority. As for the main necklace which I brought, it is absolutely stunning and I cannot be more happier with it! From the shape of the pearls to there colour and sits just right when put on due to being a V necklace which is another point Im very glad about is that I found that specific design as I found it extremely hard to find that style of necklace.

I would definatly recommed that you buy from them as they are relatively cheap compared to others selling pearls but the quality and look of the items is top notch!
