Original Duckhead Omdömen 

I cannot express how much I love my umbrella! Living in London a good quality umbrella is a MUST! I have received a lot of compliments as well, such a well made and unique design, I always remember my umbrella when I'm out and about (I used to have a habit of losing mine!)

I had such high expectations for this umbrella. I instantly fell in love with the design. As a design student I invested in purchasing one of these to last me a life time. The first one I bought was of bad quality. It broke in the wind after a few uses. Then, because I loved the umbrella so much, and I thought that potentially it was just the one I bought was faulty - I paid again to buy an exact replacement for the first one. The second one I bought to replace the first one immediately broke upon opening the umbrella and was I was not even able to use it once. It was even of worse quality than the first one. I was very upset because I paid to replace the original umbrella and I didn’t even get to use the second one once. I do not recommend this product even though the design is cute. I expected an umbrella of this price (that I bought twice) to do its job and at least protect me in the rain. It failed to do so.

Great umbrella, lovely colours. I've received one as a gift and it comes in very handy.

J'ai acheté un parapluie de cette marque dans une petite boutique, mais après seulement deux utilisations sous la pluie et le vent, il s'est retourné et cassé. Triste et déçu.

I bought one of your umbrella in a store in Paris and a part of it snapped during the same week ! Very dissapointed, it was not a windy day and I expected a good and strong umbrella for the price I paid...

My one and only umbrella broke so I needed one urgently to get ready for the stormy season. I did a lot of research and was excited to order from Original Duckhead. I received my parcel today but I was shocked to find a flat courier envelope, and even more shocking to find just the invoice and what I assume to be the umbrella plastic cover with NO UMBRELLA in the bag. This must be some kind of joke. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have emailed customer services and am waiting for a response. I hope it's not a scam and they take the right steps to promptly remedy the situation.

Update: They got back and sent the umbrella again via Royal Mail which took another 3 days to arrive, when I had requested next day delivery. They sent one of their reusable bags as a 'gift'. It would have been better to have a faster delivery than another extra bag that I don't need. Quality of the umbrella itself seems great.

Charge for 2 day delivery. Don't even dispatch item after a week. Still waiting....
Update following ODH's reply. I already called and left messages /emails regarding the issue. So I highly doubt they will "promptly assist" me.
Update 11/9/23: After finally being able to talk to the company, they blamed Royal Mail and asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement sent. I asked for a replacement. Guess what, a week later the "original" item arrived. I have yet to receive the "replacement" a month later. I highly expect that they never sent the original until after speaking to me due to this review.

I love the quality of the umbrellas. I have one, still in use, that is 30 years old. My latest purchase was for my grand daughter for her birthday. As a little girl she had always loved mine.

my order was delayed by more than a month, and when i wrote in, Gabriel was so patient with me. we agreed that i would wait another week, and when that passed with no sight of my parcel, Gabriel said he would send over a new order. it was really an assurance for me. but of course, as these things pan out, the original parcel arrived, in good condition, and i’m enjoying having 3 new Duckheads. thank you again, Gabriel!!

My umbrella arrived damaged and the company was quick to apologize and send me a new umbrella. The only complaint I have is that it arrived 6 weeks later but this was not due to the company but a problem with transit system. The umbrella is of highest quality and the costumer service is excellent.

I had a similar umbrella when I was growing up and love being able to give one to my daughter. The pink terrazzo pattern is perfect and she loves using it on our walks to preschool.

I am delighted with my umbrella the colour & sturdy craftsmanship! I have been unable to actually use it due to shoulder op at moment but look forward to using it in near future! A very good buy!

MADE IN CHINA… I’m not here to bash the company, but really??? A $50 umbrella portrayed to the consumer to be made in the UK/London. The “Original Duck Head Umbrella” is a let down.

For a folding umbrella, it's a nice product; but if it weren't us filling a request from a grand daughter, I wouldn't spend that much money on a folding umbrella ( or any umbrella ) unless $25 fell out of it when I opened it.
