Best bug free hen keeping solution
Long timer user of Eglu items for hens.
From their original kits to the updated versions, all are of high quality and standard.
Moreover, their new no mess feeders and insulated drinkers are a must because they are a great concept and very well designed.
Best of all, with no wood involved in any part of the structures, hens remain bug free (e.g. mites etc).

Eglu go up run and auto door installation.
Purchased a 4 metre eglu go up, with auto door opener and feeders/drinkers. To be honest, I was slightly worried by some of the comments on here, but my partner had used Omlet before and reassured me.
Firstly and foremostly, everything - and I mean absolutely everything - was supplied. There was no case of “we are short of two of these and one of something else” - the whole lot arrived in 10 boxes a promised.
That was the first plus point.
Next, for all the complicated items that need to be assembled there’s a video, which makes life very simple. The only minor gripe is that you can’t move the video back a few seconds on an iPad with Chrome as a browser. You can stop and restart but that’s it.
However, borrowing my partners laptop solved that minor irritant and we could replay all the complex parts to our hearts content!
Not sure how long all the assembly too, perhaps 6 hours, but everything worked perfectly. Even the app access to the automatic door worked first time.
I did have need to ask a couple of pretty simple questions from Omlet support. Both were answered quickly and helpfully.
All in all - delighted!

If you want to buy something that will…
If you want to buy something that will take you to the verge of a nervous breakdown then a Chicken Eglu is perfect for you. The instructions are amazing if you have the memory capacity of Einstein! Will take you as long taking things back apart and remaking things you will need prescription meds! Honestly if you want one, get 10 people around to help or you will be a week in and on the verge of jumping off a cliff!

Tutorials and manuals are not helpful - be prepared for a hard assembly
Update: thankfully a different member of the customer service team stepped in, and were extremely helpful and supportive, which has gone a long way in making the experience much better. I still think the manuals are designed for engineers to follow, and the video tutorials do not work in their current format, but I am glad that Omlet stepped up and recognised my concerns and frustrations: thank you.
Oh dear - I should have read the reviews here first, because sadly the [original] customer service (lack of), and frustations in building are absolutely spot on. I bought the walk in run (not cheap), and my partner and I had a horrible time trying to follow the laughably bad video tutorial: no voice over or captions, just some annoying music and a guy showing you lots of close ups of clipping. I was passively aggressively brushed off in my email and re-sent the manual that we already used. We now have a defective run door (arguably essential). It's a shame, because as others say, in theory, it's great.

J’ai commandé un abreuvoir, une mangeoire et un poulailler. La livraison du poulailler était mal organisée : les colis sont arrivés à des jours différents, compliquant l’installation. Le service de livraison manque de coordination et de fiabilité, ce qui gâche l’expérience malgré la qualité des produits, d’autant plus au vu du prix des livraison qui sont exorbitants.
J’ai contacté UPS qui m’a informé que le colis n’a pas été envoyé

My cat escaped the ‘safe’ catio through…
My cat escaped the ‘safe’ catio through the tunnel due to poor design. The mesh on the tunnel is much larger than the catio for some stupid reason so my cat managed to escape several times before I realised what she was doing. My indoor only cat escaped several times causing me extreme emotional distress. I spent over £1,500 on the catio and tunnel and they’re now telling me due to their stupid design I now have to spend more money buying pet safe mesh to cover the tunnel.
She’s not a kitten or small cat, she’s skinnier than the rest but she’s a year old and the same size as my other cats.
Customer service is awful, catio tunnel is awful design.
£1.5k on the catio and tunnel, £60 on a camera and AirTag collar to find out how she escaped (I thought it was the house to begin with) £50 on a humane cat trap £80 for vet visit after I found her ££priceless emotional distress of losing my cat.
And now they want me to spend more money on pet safe mesh lol

Our tunnel panels use a mesh size of 47.5 x 72.5 mm, which can be suitable for many cats, but slimmer or smaller cats may require extra safeguarding, such as an additional layer of pet-safe mesh or a tunnel cover. Whether this is needed can vary depending on a cat’s size, shape, and breed.
We also recommend closely monitoring cats when they are first introduced to the tunnel and catio, so you can make sure the setup is secure for their individual needs while they get familiar with it.
If you feel the tunnel is not suitable for your cat, you are still within your returns period and our team can help discuss the options available to you.

Gute Produkte aber hier und da gehts besser.
Ich habe mittlerweile einige Produkte von omlet darunter den Eglu Go up mit dem ich soweit zufrieden bin bei mir war die dazu bestellte Automatik Tür nach einigen Woche defekt aber nach Rücksprache mit dem Kundenservice und einer sehr ausführlichen Hilfe blieb leider nur der Austausch welcher aber problemlos lief und für mich Kostenfrei.
Nur der Stall innen mit dem Gitter ist nicht sehr praktikabel für Zwerghühner da sie durch die Gitter rutschen mit flächig Stroh drin aber das Problem gelöst Hühner fühlen sich darin sehr wohl.
Auch den Futterautomat No waste und den isolierten Wasserautomaten kann ich sehr empfehlen auch wenn die Hühner es trotzdem schaffen Futter daneben zu werfen.
Auch ein Hundebett habe ich mittlerweile angeschafft dank Rabattaktionen von 25% Was soll ich sagen der Dackel liebt es.
Rundum grund solide Produkte recht preisintensiv aber gut gemacht und durchdacht.
Hier und da Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten bestehen aber an sich sehr zufrieden Deshalb 4 von 5 Sternen.

This is the most frustrating item we…
This is the most frustrating item we have ever purchased.
It is expensive and once assembled also frustrating to manage and access.
We have the UP and we nearly divorced putting it together!
Once it is assembled you are unable to access the e chickens when they go under the coup and a human can’t get inside the run. We understand that this is not designed to be walked in .. however you should be able to get in should you need to. The area is also very very crowded if you are to leave your chickens in this space.
Luckily we have a bigger area for them because once the water and feed bowels are in their is little space for the actual birds.
The ladder is in my opinion dangerous - slippery and my birds keep sliding down and falling off . The last run they do not have enough space to step down without hitting the run. Omlet have said this isn’t a problem but they sell their own ladder grips in case your chickens slip.
Omlet say this isn’t a problem yet all you have to do is look at all the reviews around this to see the issues with the automatic door - I wish we had read them!
The automatic door took 2 hours and did not come with the correct template. The side battery panel is stuck on with an adhesive sticky tape - this is the part where you access and it has only had the cover taken off a few times and it is already losing its stick! £150 for something that sticks on the side with a sticker…
We purchased the chicken mesh/ fencing as well and all 5 of my birds can make it over the 1.5m stop your chickens getting out proof fence!
All in all a big disappointment from a premium brand.
The worst part of this is that whatever the review anyone writes they defend their product - whilst I understand this.. they have to listen to customers for product improvement and continued market presence.

To clarify, the Eglu Go UP run is not designed to allow a person to get inside. If you need easier walk-in access for cleaning, feeding, and reaching your chickens, our Walk In Runs would be the better option.
We are also concerned to read your comments about the ladder. We have not had problems reported with this design, so this is unusual. The ladder was designed in-house and features a unique gridded step design with anti-slip ribs and a textured surface to help chickens grip securely. Please could you send us some photos or videos of your birds using the ladder so we can better understand what may be happening?
We’d also appreciate photos of the automatic door installation, especially as you mentioned issues with the template and the battery panel, so we can investigate this properly and see what has gone wrong.
In terms of the fencing, our model is already higher than many other chicken fencing options on the market. It may be worth checking whether your chickens are using nearby objects as a launch point to get over it. Some owners also choose to clip one wing’s flight feathers to reduce their birds’ ability to fly over fencing.

I purchased an auto door and had problems getting it to work as it should do. The Omlet team (Ophelie) were really quick to get back to me emailing me daily with resolution and to check if it had worked. Couldn't have asked for better service and most importantly the issue was fixed! Great auto door too! Nice for those of us who have early rising chickens but like a lay in!

Such Lovely Customer Service
I love Omlet products, but this review is specifically relating to their Customer Service. I had just ordered lots of parts to build a run extension and had some obscure pieces I wanted which I couldn't find on the website. I managed to make rather a mess of ordering the other bits and their response times by email were so fast. I also had to ring in the end because I had managed to confuse myself with the various orders and I actually managed to speak to the lady I had been emailing. She was so incredibly polite and helpful and didn't at any point make me feel an inconvenience (which I certainly was!). Lovely people, thank you very much.

Ik heb een flinke uitgave gedaan voor een Cube met 4 meter ren met hendels, automatische deur, voerbakken en zonnescherm.
Maar een bevestigingsbeugel meeleveren voor aan de cube is teveel gevraagd. Geen coulance. Engels sprekende klantenservice en de chat is met een vertaalprogramma. Vre-se-lijk! Maar het product is meer dan prima.

We willen graag toelichten dat een aparte bevestigingsbeugel voor de Cube niet nodig is wanneer u een Cube met ren aanschaft. In dat geval wordt er namelijk al een beugel meegeleverd waarmee het bedieningspaneel van de automatische deur direct op de ren gemonteerd kan worden. De Cube-beugel is alleen nodig voor klanten die een Cube zonder ren aanschaffen.
Fijn om te lezen dat u wel tevreden bent over het produkt zelf. We nemen uw feedback over de communicatie en klantenservice zeker serieus.
