Be careful with the Lenses

Be careful with the lenses. They are easily knicked which removes the coating on the lens. This happened within a few days of purchase. I tried to get the affected lens replaced but the knick did not show well in photos so the replacement was a no go. Otherwise a good look and a good fit.

Quality above all

I always used Oakley SI to purchase sunglasses and prescription glasses for my family and myself. They have high quality sunglasses! The SI website specific to military and first responders are a great way to show their appreciation to us! Love this website!

Deeply disappointed — not worth the hassle for military members abroad

My husband's been a loyal Oakley SI customer for years as an active-duty military member stationed and deployed overseas. He always appreciated the idea behind Oakley SI — to support service members with quality eyewear at a fair price.

But after trying to order prescription sunglasses in February, we've gone through over three months of repeated failures: canceled orders due to Oakley’s slow processing, miscommunication, and excuses. The order was canceled over an expired prescription (no one contacted me to update it, so why do they even ask for email and phone number?!), then they failed to deliver, which took too long and the new prescription sheet became outdated when trying to order again. Then they claimed they shipped, but USPS returned the package — and now Oakley suddenly tells me they no longer ship to APO/FPO addresses, which is directly contradicted by their own website.

We spent hours on the phone with their customer service for four separate attempts to order and get this right — and after all that, nothing and I probably won't have sunglasses for my vacation in June.
We just ordered the Oakley sunglasses locally in Germany — cheaper, faster delivery (5–13 days), and better service. Honestly, there’s no point in staying loyal to Oakley SI anymore if you’re stationed abroad. You’ll get better prices and better treatment elsewhere.

Avoid the frustration. Avoid Oakley SI.

Satisfied Purchase!

I’m a big fan of Oakley.SI. I have bought a few pairs of sunglasses and boots. I had to return a pair of glasses because they didn’t fit, and they were very understanding and refund me without any issues. They have a cool referral code and i got my buddy to save $80 dollars on his purchase. Loved the oakley sunglasses i bought from the website. Very reliable and fast free shipping! Will continue to recommend and buy from this company.

Customer Service is not responsive or able to give accurate information

At this point I don't know if they have an employee shortage or qualified worker issue. I placed an order back on March 21st and the order said it would arrive April 3. I received no follow up emails or contacts. I finally called and was told my "item was lost in the warehouse." I was then told I could ask for a refund or the item to be re-ordered. I chose re-order which at this point I feel was a mistake. My new order was supposed to arrive today, May 3rd. I spoke via chat 3 days ago to a representative. They said my item was made and awaiting shipment and should arrive today. Again, no update on my account, just "in-process." They never gave me a tracking shipment number. I called the representative today and they only told me that it is "in process". I kept asking where they were in the process and she would not say. I asked if they had a worker shortage and she stated that they did. I then jumped on the chat and spoke to a representative or possibly AI and they said my package will arrive today if it says it will. I said what's the tracking number and they said they have to make one. At this point I am not expecting my item and will most likely cancel and hopefully get a refund. I have been a loyal supporter of Oakley SI since 2005. I have never had anything but great service from them over the years until now. I just don't know if that's indicative of how the company is being run or what they think of veterans now.

The single time I had a problem, was when the post office lost a package. Oakley replaced it and sent the new one expedited...

Seems like a problem with the post office, instead of Oakley. The new order did not come packaged as if from Oakley (sad that they have to do that).

Excellent company and products

Excellent company! Fast turnaround after purchase. The Pilot 2.0 gloves are great. They're durable, comfortable, and fit great. I made the mistake of trying another company's tactical gloves on duty and they lasted less than 3 weeks before coming apart! Should have known better and stuck with Oakley. Tried and true brand and products.

Reunited and it feels so good!

It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve separated from the US Military. Amongst all of the things I miss, having that direct line to Oakley was close to the top of the list. OSI and IDme have combined to make this a reality for me again!!!

Have a pair of them great for ballistics but problem is the screw on the left hinge constantly comes loose. Thought it was just mine, apparently it’s a issue other people I know with these pair have had as well.

Recently bought and broken in the…

Recently bought and broken in the Oakley Gen III. The boots are super think almost like winters and do not breath. Overall the boots are uncomfortable to wear in general especially in a warmer climate.

No customer service...at all!

My Rx Flak 2.0 frames arrived bent (sit on my head crooked). It is impossible to get in touch with Oakley. Emails aren't responded to, their phone system is not manned by human. All they will do is send an refund form which is not valid for Rx glasses. So frustrating for such an expensive purchase. For the first time ever I'm going to buy another brand of Rx sunglasses.

Good customer service

I spoke with a supervisor over the phone and she issued me a full refund and was able to properly cancel my order. Updated my experience rating. She was very polite and helpfull. I will continue buying from OakleySI.
