I purchased the Kiss My Plum Tinted Peptide Lip Balm because I trusted the brand and its focus on natural ingredients. The marketing gave me confidence that it would be gentle on my lips.
Unfortunately, after using it for about a week, I developed a reaction that felt like it had burnt my lips. I understand that everyone can react differently to skincare and cosmetic products, and I'm not suggesting this will happen to everyone.
What disappointed me most was the customer service. I contacted the team politely to let them know what had happened, hoping they would show some care or offer a gesture of goodwill, such as a refund, store credit, or even a small voucher. Instead, I felt my concerns were dismissed, and I was simply told there was nothing they could do.
It's disappointing when a company doesn't seem to value customer experience, especially when someone has had an adverse reaction. Based on both my experience with the product and the way my concerns were handled, I won't be purchasing from this brand again.
