Claim sorted out very quickly.

Although NFU is more expensive than some equine insurance companies the service
Ce they provide more than makes up for it.

They were helpful and assisted my claims with my Repair company following my accident

Absolutely brilliant customer service for my van commercial insurance. Had a terrible experience with two competitors and NFU night and day better in every aspect. Caitlin McF who handled my query today was absolutely first class, very professional and clear.

I was knocked off my motorcycle by an NFU policy holder. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with the NFU. It has been over two months since the accident and I still haven’t got a date for the repair. I have asked for a settlement which they are refusing to discuss with me. They pass me between departments to cause further delays.

Very efficient service

Last year after reading ’Which Magazine’ who were singing the praises of NFU Home Insurance I tried to insure our (very normal) three bed property with them. I left a negative review on Trustpilot about my experience. This year, like a fool, I tried again!

Several times over the weekend I tried the NFU online quote system and each time received a message saying that they were happy to insure our house but I would need to call them. So yesterday morning I telephoned them and the lady I spoke to seemed a little uncertain/hesitant about things and eventually said that she was having problems and that the systems appeared to be down and that she would call me back. She never did! Sorry NFU but I don’t know what I’ve done but I won’t try again. Maybe it’s because I don’t own a farm or a huge ten bedroom property but I’ve decided to stay with my old insurer, despite what Which Magazine say. Funny how I wanted so much to give NFU my business but you’re a very hard company to deal with!

Good fast friendly and efficient dealing of my claim .
You definitely get what you pay for

NFU responded immediately when we contacted them to claim. They appointed a specialist to ensure that our property dried out properly. They appointed a loss adjuster to deal with the details and they were very efficient. Once quotations had been submitted, the loss adjuster quickly agreed a fair settlement with us.
NFU then paid out the agreed amounts promptly.
I would recommend them to any property owner.

Had car insurance with them Then they cancelled it within one month with no explanation.

Told have to redo policy Policy may go up.

They are not the cheapest but you get fantastic service and in our view well worth the extra cost. We recently had a claim and they were great, good service and nice to talk with areal person who were really kind and helpful. A special mention to Jackie at Woodhall Spa who went over and beyond. We will be moving the rest of our insurance policies to them when they are due.

A very friendly helpful professional service. Complete guidance was given on all aspects of my claim. I received prompt and excellent support and service.

We had a major claim due to a tenant completely wrecking our property and leaving it uninhabitable, which just happened to be our main residence.

The damage was entirely caused by their pet dogs, we were initially told that we probably wouldn't be covered, but because we didnt have a pet exclusion on our policy they paid out. The Loss Adjusters were brilliant and organised an urgent payment within a week. They even contacted us a month later to monitor progress and paid out a further claim for additional damage we had found in the meantime.

Never claimed on house insurance before - never needed to - but when I did, the service from NFU Mutual was outstanding: helpful, courteous people on the phone, going the extra mile to help, in a difficult situation.
